To: All Automobile Manufacturers
From: Franberrian Ministry of Transportation

Franberry is searching for large amounts (a couple million) of cheap, reliable cars. We would like the cars to carry at least 1 driver and 3 passengers, as well as a moderatly sized load. We would like to supply the cars to rural areas were there is very little mass public transportation. We would also like to purchase around 2 million pickup trucks, as to make moving goods in isolated areas even more easier.

Thank you

We have chosen to submit a custom-built design, which was originally created for the United States of Allanea. We can make this absolute base vehicle safer if Franberry wishes, But this will higher the price. A pick-up version can be provided, taking away the back of the car. The car is able to transport 4 people comfortably, and 5 people somewhat less comfortable.

VLT Automotive 910i

Fuel: Bio-Diesel/Ethanol/Hydrogen/Diesel/Euro/Super
Power: 61 HP at 4000RPM
Drive: FourWD
Topspeed: 120 KM/H
0-100 KM/H: 17.1 s

The vehicle, following correct VLT Automotive naming the 910i, as being the 9th line, with a 1.0 engine.
It is equipped with a 1.0 litre engine, boasting some 61 HP, at 4000 RPM. The vehicle is capable of reaching
120 Km/H. The exterior of the vehicle, which has the looks of a stationwagon, has been entirely made of sheet metal,
while no airbags have been placed inside, to supress costs. Also, the radio, airconditioning, floormats and other luxurious
equipment has been put away in favour of cheap plastic and fabric. Only luxury the vehicle has been equipped with is a heating for both the engine and the interior, to ensure the vehicle will be able to start.
The engine is modified to accept a wide range of fuels, to ensure the car can be kept driving at all times. It has been tested under the most extreme environments, such as tundra's or Saharasand. Also, the car has undergone extensive anti-corrosion treatments, to ensure the car can endure for a long time in difficult environments. The vehicle has been put higher on it's springs, so it can endure under harsh environments in muddy and bad terrain, or badly-serviced roads.
With the development of the 910i, designers have been ordered to make the car as usefull a possible. Therefore, a stationwagon-like design has been favoured over that of a hatchback or sedan. To ensure maximum load capacity, the back of the vehicle has been equipped with two doors next to eachother, instead of the standard boot.

VLT Automotive hopes the vehicle can service the need of the Franberrian government for a cheap vehicle with these cars, and their price of 5,500 US Dollars.

Van Luxemburg, we would like airbags installed in this vehicle, and we do not need so fast an engine, 100km/h top speed should be more than enoguh. What will be the cost with airbags and the redced engine?
Also we would like a spot for a radio, so installment is optional, and can be done within Franberry.

Thank you

With a lighter engine, thsi would approximately cost $500 less. However, the installment of airbags will mean that this will remain at the same price. We will now supply an 0.8 litre engine:

Fuel: Bio-Diesel/Ethanol/Hydrogen/Diesel/Euro/Super
Power: 51 HP at 4000RPM
Drive: FourWD
Topspeed: 100 KM/H
0-100 KM/H: 21.1 s.

The Radio is always a possibility.

Ok then, remove the airbags, so each car is $5000, we might install some cheaper home-built ones when they get to our soil.
We would like 5 million of the normal variant and 2 million of the pickup variant, we shall pay the money out of our goverment waste.

Great. That makes 250,000,000,000 for the Normal variant, and 100,000,000,000 for the Pickup variant. Sold.

Pleasure doing buissness with you, the 4 million of the normal variant and the 2 million of hte pickup variant have been sent ot remote rural areas, with home-produced airbags. The other 1 million will become prizes for the National Lottery.
