Today, a Huahinian expeditionary force landed on Atlasov Island with the intention of claiming the Kuril Islands as their own. Forces were airlifted in by Hermes Rotocoptors, whilst La Fayette Destroyers were on hand to provide support.
Huahin would like to assure Squornshelous that its intentions are strictly peaceful.

Huahinian troops were lifted in, and immediatly secured an area, however, upon their arrival, a convoy of assorted Pickup trucks, with .50 cal HMGs mounted on the back, arrived, and caused heavy causalties. Sea Lynx Helicoptors were called in, as were Apaches, and the trucks were forced back.

High above in the sky, Canberra PR1 planes relayed the rebel positions down to the La Fayette, which bombarded them with its state of the art, recently upgraded, 100mm polyvalent artillery piece.

The Huahinian C-in-C of this operation, Admiral Bobby Davidson, raised a wry smile when he received the latest intelligence. He turned to his assistant,
"RPG launchers, AK-47's, pickups, this all seems a bit cliché to me, lets hope they're not armed any more heavily."
"We have reports that they may have some tanks, albeit old ones. It is unlikely they'll have too many in working condition, and their possible location is under constant bombardment, so they wont be able to bring them out."
"Nevertheless, advise all men to proceed with extreme caution."
"Yessir. Someone from intel, some kind of agent, has also been sent on to the island, to infiltrate the rebel base..."

Special Agent Jimmy Pond snuck behind a few fuel containers to avoid the patrolling guard. As the guard walked past, Jimmy crept up behind him, and with a sharp thrust of the blade, pushed a knife up through his skull, whilst holding the other hand over his mouth. Silently, the man dropped to the floor, and his body was disposed of.

Inside the rebel base, which was at the foot of the mountain, the finishing touches were put to the detonator for an atomic device...

The timer was set at 2 hours, but had not yet been started as it was to be a last resort, a last resort which every island in the Kurile chain had managed to acquire through various means.

Other islands had been more forthcoming to agree to a surrender. The islands of Shumshu, Paramushir, Makanru, Onekotan, Kharimukotan, Antsinferova, Ekarma and Shiashkotan had all fallen to Huahinian forces with minimum resistance. A message was intercepted going from one of the neighbouring islands to Atlasov Island:
Resistance is useless. Give up now and they will accept you with peace, and many lives can be saved. Do not detonate under any circumstances, as the fallout will effect us all.

The Huahinian Commander was shocked; this could only mean one thing - they had a nuclear weapon on the island! It would be useless to get his men to retreat now, they only had one option - Special Agent Jimmy Pond.

Jimmy was inside the rebel complex when he received the message. He could feel the weight on his shoulder now, but this only made him more determined...

Operation - Taking Back

Japanese forces had landed on the Islands of Kunashir, Iturup, Shikotan, and Habomai with-in a matter of hours of being given their orders. The massive force was to overwhelming for any troops on the islands to stand up against, many Andrehervian troops and Kuril insurgents giving in mostly before a single shot was fired. They had the nearest Islands secured, and soon all Post-Japanese Kuril Islands back in their grasp. They had gotten what they were told to get, but they feared they would be forced to fight another Imperialistic Army. They could not let their Kuril Islands fall under the opression of another Government, and they would defend their portion of the Kuril Islands.

The Imperial Navy went up in advance to secure the Islands of Urup and Chirpoi. With the old Japanese islands back in Japanese Control, all smaller Archipelagos would be assimilated as well. All that was left was to contact the Huahinian Government, and warn them to not advance their troops past Simushir Island. In the event doing so, it would be considered an Act of war.

There has been some great conflict over the Kuril Island Chain and I wished to inform you that the Japanese Military has re-occupied all of the Japanese Islands with-in the Kuril Chain. We do not care for the ones North of Chirpoi and Broutona for they were never Japanese. We hope that your Forces may respect our new boundary, because any act of penetrating those lines will result in War between our two peoples.

Negiociations will begin right away over the DMZ between the islands, which are henceforth known as the Kuril Islands.

And we can possibly reach a stand still between our two Government...hopefully...although I wouldn't mind a war...eitherway...

Anyways as of May 10th'ish I'll be un-D13 but I can do some stuff, like set up a DMZ/Boundary.
