Well, I was playing Age of Empires III and kicking ass with my Imperial Redcoats, and thought it would be a fun idea to have a colonial style RP with the good people of the I.I community.

Situated in the New World(Great Lakes, Thirteen Colonies, St. Laurence mainly), with the two main European powers of the period(England and France) fighting over the terrain. There will also be native americans that you can trade with and form alliances with, or fight and wipe out, raping and pillaging their villages and destroying their nomadic way of life.

Each player will choose which nation they want to be(England, France, Native) and pick a home city. There can be two English players and two French players, and unlimited Native American players. The European people will be confined to the cities they control, but the natives, being nomads, may roam freely and do as they wish. Also, there will be a few American Revolutionary peoples, who will mainly have settlements in the Thirteen colonies, and will also be confined to their cities.

Rules:

1. The typical rule of no god-modding, pretty standard

2. Use only technology from this time period and those that would be associated with your civilisation

3. Follow the rules

4. Have fun or else...*shakes fist*

No, it's not about the game, I just got the idea from the game, and the Aztecs were in Central and South America, not North America, so sorry. But Reallydrunk, you can be an iroquois settlement sure.

Okay, good enough for me, I'm not as used to the Iriqois, but itt'l work, by the way are we restricted to those fifty man armies, or can we make them bigger?

It's not really during the Revolution, because the French and English are still fighting each other, with indians in there too, so that would make it pre-Revolution, but I wanted to add Americans in for more players, so I guess all American players would be Revolutionaries.

Ebedron is right, Washington was founded in 1790, well after the revolution. So if you could, change me to New York or something along those lines.

thats so obnoxious. if you are going to make an RP you should make it accurate. You should not have a Washington. make other cities so we can choose from. Make like a New Orleans for the french and add more places.

Ain't changing it, because if we make it too close to RL, then people will be all like "OMG!!!ZORSZORS!!YOU STUPID N00B!!! AMERICA PWNED BRITIAN SO I WINS OH LOL LOL ZORS!!!!!!" Plus Ebedron, you just want to be Americans, but both slots are filled and if I have more Americans then they have the advantage. It's three teams(Brits, French, and Americans) with natives and we just make up our own little colonial tech RP.

If I could get one more French player and another native tribe(not Iroquois, hopefully another tribe please), then I'll start it.

I would like to play Mahicans/Mohicans of the Hudson valley, if no more Iroquois tribes are allowed. However, I would like to play them as they were before beeing converted to christianity as that allows much greater freedom in making desicions of with whom to side with, and is also much cooler.

Also, I would like to know how are the Iroquis beeing played. Are they allied, if are, how loosely, and what tribes do those 2 Iroquis players we have actually play? Seneca, Onondaga, Oneida, Cayuga, Mohawks? And what is the role of the others that aren't played by anyone - do these 2 controll them too, or don't they just exist in this RP? I don't want to sound like a nitpicker, even though I am one :rolleyes: , but this information is quite vital for the game - the Iroquois alliance was easily the strongest force amongst the factions in the East coast of the continent.

Personally, I would like to play independent Mohawks rather than Mahicans, but they will do all the same if you don't want to see more Iroquis'.

Yeah, I'm not changing it, if you want to fight somebody, move your ass up into Canada. The objective isn't for you to just gain your little independance and sit there happily waiting for others to come try and take it, you must invade others, this isn't suppose to be historical, I just used the people and lands from the time era.

And no, none of the native tribes are allied with anybody at the moment, the only people allied together are the civilised people, who are allied with their countrymen(ex: Brits with Brits).

Will the britt's and french be making alliances with indians? if so i will be making diplomacy with the brittish ASAP :)

No no, you can ally with whoever you want during the game, but just at the start all native nations start neutral to everyone.

Well so much about the so-called realism then. The only reason Iroquis were as strong as they were is the fact they were a coalition of 5 tribes, each about as strong as the other mentioned tribes in this game, Mohicans, Tomahawks etc. But if that's how you want it, then so be it.

So. Reallydrunk has the Mohawks? I have to do with the Mohicans then?

would anyone like to create another colonial RP. we will stick to realism and we are willing to make changes for what you want.

Maybe, depends on how this one goes.
