Unfortunetely I'm probably going to make up some excuse on why your character's books are wrong.. like you researched a similar curse but not the exact one because you didn't get the full information...

lol I mean Kioshi is researching due to the fact he's just seen Len's personality. He doesn't have all the info (box of hell) and it's very unlikely he'll pinpoint the exact curse out of practically millions.

And...I'm currently thinking up evil quests to give you guys muahahahahah and the potion thing doesn't fit into my current evil plans muahahahaha

I want all fourth years (Nation played) to go to Potion. The class is located in the sub-levels.

@Canadstein: Go to Charm. It is on the third floor, down the Charms corridor. I will role-play some NPC third years.

i've aluded to two non-standard spells already that Aiko knows.

ones a levitation spell for small items, the others are a spell that translates written kirisuban text into english and the last allows minor repairs of an object.

i hope these fit into the rp.

Alright; I have sent telegrams to everyone who is involved in this RP asking them to begin posting again.

Perhaps what we need is a good plot; a story of somekind; something to do other than just classes - sort of like how the actual HP stories go.

Len's situation is a bit odd considering the teachers would be much more likely to solve it.

The Stromberg children is a decent one, but it requires Chronosia to be posting - something he hasn't done in a while in this thread (I believe).

But yeah, something along the lines of a mysterious deaths of unicorns or something like that.

having a rogue wizard like Voldemorte around would make things interesting as well, particularly if he takes an interest in one particular student that could be a threat to him in the future.

we can also do more mudane things like a Yule ball which will allow the characters to get to know each other better although i'd expect students to stick to their houses.

Yes, Chronosia's character is are evil wizard right now. And the Stromberg children are NPCs, anybody can RP with them. Something we and Chronosia agreed to early in the planning.

I don't understand your question. However, if you are asking whether or not you can use modern day stuff like TVs, Computers, etc. The answer is most likely yes - however the wizarding community doesn't really have this stuff.

While the generic wizard community might not, those who hail from 'muggle' families would like have such things(including digital watches and cd/mp3 players).

While they might have that stuff at home, they don't bring it to school with them (no need). Look at Hermione...

I'd disagree. The reason the still pics become 'moving pictures' are the way they're treated/developed, not because of the camera. Also there is no noticable enchantments on the train. Lastly I believe there is a gramaphone(which I seriously doubt would be enchanted) in book 4.

Just because you think that it is the way they are treated/developed does not necessarily make it true. Think about paintings - they too can move and paintings aren't treated or developed. However, either way, that doesn't mean the camera itself isn't magical.

Perhaps the train isn't magical, though it exists on a set of tracks and at a station that don't exist to the muggles, but then it doesn't actually go inside the castle.

Muggle items can be bewitched - making them magical.

Also, when dealing with magic you can't dwell entirely in logic - suppose that the founders of the castle that enchanted it with so many powerful spells also put a spell on it that would allow the train near... who knows... not any of us and unless you want to interrogate J.K. Rowling, I would suggest we just let it go.
