I would like to give some solid definition to my military percentages of troops that go to certain places. like logistics or navy, army, special forces, airforce. what percentage of my pop. should go to my troop troop count and what might be good vehicles to use and how many i should have. i have some ideas but i would like the opinion of my experianced players.

If any one wishes i can post the percentages i am using now for my army. (which is all i have).

.01-.05 is what is generally accepted. Read the stickies. I think there was a thread floating around about nations starting up somewhere....
EDIT: And the logistics-combat personal is anywhere from 1 soldier to 4 logistics to 1 soldier to 11 logistics.

You can use no more than 5% of your population for the army. Might be 4%, but I'm pretty sure it's 5%.

Thats generally for times of drafts and such. For a standing army, .05 is the best.

I personally use 3-4% at peacetimer, although I am a militaristic nation. Anything from 0.5-4% is acceptable.

You could just take a calculater and divide it by the number of logistics per soldier.

[ Mind cutting off the excess? Photobucket automatically resizes stuff that's too big--and it looks like you have a lot of unneccesary white space in that image. ]
