The Commodities Cooperative would like to note the complete lack of trade between the Totl Oligo and Pythogria. Thus, this “banning of trade” does not affect the rationing of commodities within the Laurasian population. The Ration Credit is not damaged in value by your hawkish attempt to cause economic damage.

However, as stated, the Totalitarian Oligarchy will not proceed with military efforts against the nation of Pythogria. Today, the Supreme Comrade Generalissmo, with the Approval of the Emperor, has declared a State of War on Congo--Kinshasa and all her Barbaric Allies. This is not a war of Imperial Conquest, this is a war for Freedom, Liberty, Civilization, and Prosperity of their people.

The Imperial 3rd Battlefleet is underway and the Imperial 6th Army is Organizing for an Attack.

In other news, it seems that a rude joke has become excessively popular among the Population, "Why is our National flag Red, Black, and Blue", "Because that's what our soldiers look like after a war." This joke is extremely rude and holds no ground, Nicksyllvania has yet to lose a war, report any dissedents to the Nearest Government Agency immediately.

A soft glow illuminated the faces in the war room. A wall-size monitor hummed like a fluorescent light, showing updated positions of Pythogrian and New Nicksyllvanian forces.

"Our forces have been accomodated in Zaire?" asked Minister of International Relations Cornelius Durantum.

Emperor Titus slowly turned from his transfixed gaze at the monitor and replied. "About an hour ago. 70,000 ground troops, about 90 naval vessels, and 600 aircraft."

"Sir, shouldn't we have sent more naval support? After all, the attack will be a sea landing."

Titus sighed. "We don't have more naval spport. That's our weakness right now. Our ships are still scattered, all over the damn world, and we can't get more organized resistance. I've told the navy officials to step it up, and we should get about triple the initial number there in a week. But right now, we'll have to fight with just 90 ships and small amounts of reinforcements."

"Right," said Senatorat Loru, the commander of all Comatic forces in Zaire. "What should the forces do in the meantime?"

"When the enemy forces close in for the attack, go out and meet them. Try to encircle them and cut the naval vessels off from any reinforcements or supplies. Then, as they make a break for the Zaire coastline, have more Comatic ships come from the harbors and meet them head on. With an assault from the back, the flanks, and front, with bombing runs from the aircraft carriers, we should put a very considerable dent in their landing force. When they do land, have artillery and bombing squads knock out communications, and destroy the land forces before they get 5 miles inland. I want this defense as coordinated as possible."

"As for the air offensive?" Inquired Defense minister Tiro Santaelium.

"40 APMs (Check sig under [military innovations] for details on APMs. Sneaky little bastards, they are) patrolling Zaire's airspace. I want 200 Blackrods to follow with the attack navy, and defend against any fighters they throw our way."

Battleship rounds flew through the air, attempting to clear the shoreline. Carriers followed, releasing all of their Nightmare fighters. And the cruisers and subs positioned a defensive perimiter around the ships. Goliath Prepositioning Ships released LCAC's, which carried tanks and infantry.

And since the player behind Zaire told me he doesn't particularly want a war - but will engage one if necessary - I'm lodging his IGNORE for him until he actually responds on whether or not he wishes to actually roleplay an invasion.

However, I have a strong feeling he will probably join the war. Thus, I don't think he would object to allowing mobilization so long as no attacks on Zaire are carried out until he actually responds. So, everyone just be patient. Once he gets on I'll tell him of the happenings.)
