A much larger exploration taskforce than mine:

Survey Cruisers: Alans, Porter, Orgdu, Hakashi
Light Cruiser: Scion

A four or five ship group like this is SOP for my fleet.

Here's a question for you: Can your ships land on planetary surfaces? If so, do they normally?

Mine do and often spend survey time on planet. That is one RP point that could be used.

I have 10 ships.

2 Heavy Destroyers (The Explorer II [ Sect Captain Josh Cort]and The Forester III[ Captain Jon Darts])
2 Light Carriers (500 fighters, 100 bomber craft, and 1 survey craft on each carrier) (Dester[Captain Greg Herts]) (Fester [Captain Josh Yurk])
2 Light Crusiers (Hawk[Captain Jack Dannal]) (Cat Klaw[Captain Sara Kline])
2 scout ships (Fline[Captain Jeff Norts]) (Darts[Captain Bart Norms])
2 Slipstream Crusiers (Forger[Captain Jack Cooliage]) (Bear Klaw[Captain Jon Marts])

Making a thread/link that would show details of fleet and ships of mine.

Yes... my ships can go into the planets atmosphere.

They cannot technichally land... instead they use a reversed magnetic engine and thrusters that keeps the ships stable a few thousand feet in the air. Then when we want to go down to the surface we paradrop the vehichles and fly the soldiers/officers down in shuttles.

My ships can dock in the air like that for a long time. Back at the home planet, we have actual docks for them.
