Discription: This program is designed to update all Excelsior-class ships to Mod-IV standards. All major systems will be replaced, and minor changes to the hull will be made.

StarFleet has begun construction of the Terra-1 SpaceDock in orbit above Terra. This new station will have 4 massive SpaceDoors that will allow starships to enter/exit the large docking chamber. Terra-1 will become the center of all StarFleet activities, since it will be home to Fleet HQ. The planned construction time is 14 Terren years.

Command Update:
Construction of the Terra-1 SpaceDock has been completed. The starship C.S.S. Constitution Was the first vessel to enter the massive space doors and dock inside the station. StarFleet Command has begun the prosess of relocating from the Cape Kennedy HQ center to Terra-1.

The C.S.S. Enterprise has been drydocked for a 24 month SLEP (Service Life Extension Plan). The major changes being new warp nacelles and core, upgraded computers and weapons, and a larger primary hull. After completion and trials, the rest of the fleet will be refit in a similar pattern.
