The Kingdom of Andredswald does not stand by the individual who called for the war on all those who do not live by the bible. We have never stated we do; indeed we contacted the individual in question shortly after his declaration.

The Kingdom of Andredswald does, however, condemn the decision to have ever taken military action of this extent and the decision to continue with its occupation.

How said country can have 25% of its population in the military. That's impossible - no military has more than 2-4% at most. OOC: Population of 1.007 billion. Thats 1,007,000,000, no? That means 5% (absolute max) is around 50mill. 250 mill? Numberwanking and again during this conflict, thinkof the logistical impossibility of handling that number of people.

Boy Scouts, we hope you've learnt a valuable lesson about the world. It's mean, it'll gang up on you unless you have the smarts and the tricks to back yourself up with.

The invading armies may eventually grant you some autonomy as a nation, and possibly even a government, but not right now. The political and actual terrain is far too twisted to even consider it.

Much as the population of S.D used to have a large militeristic power, now we prefer the power of our philosophers and diplomats. Both will be taking an interest in the welfare of the people of the affected populations. Although the mountains of our homeland out off limits to outsiders, the lower steppes will be open for a short time for refugees to make arrangements for living space in the future.

We'll need troops for primary control, seeing as they are desperate, hungry, and traumatised people, we'd like them to see a local enforcement agency, and from there begin immediate medical treatment. We have prefab buildings for the job, we just need someone to ensure we aren't swamped or that or medical equipment isn't 'borrowed.'

The Principality will now move to land 250,000 troops, 100 URAL-43206 Cargo Trucks, 100 M998 HMMWV Humvees, and 50 M1 Abrams Tanks. Granted, this is a lot to deploy considering that there are only 2 million people left in these lands, but we in the Principality have always believed in being safe than sorry.

They will serve as the security force in the OA Boy Scouts Territory, keeping the peace and protecting the Reconstruction effort by the nations of Kasim Sul Nahr, and Roman Greece.

We would also like to take this opportunity to present a list of problems which need to be addressed.

-Clearing the rubble from the streets
-Fixing up the Pumbing
-Restoring Electricity
-The constuction and repair of Power Plants and Power Stations.
-Repairing highways and bridges
-The rebuilding of Government Buildings. Granted we destroyed their government in order to take control, but we have to think about the needs of our new provincial government.
-Street repair
-Building an airport
-Repairing the seaport(s)
-Restoration of communications (telephone, internet, ect)

Standardised reports for reconstruction would feature viable buildings found, supplies, statistics on battle damage, and whether or not certain buildings should be condemned. The best idea would be to provide a first hand report from your building corps - the Bureaucracy tends to find statistics and mountains of data tedious but informative, for your report to Wilhemsborough, condense the information into something manageable.
So, in the case of viable buildings include what type, level of damage, interior damage, and whether or not they have basic resources.

Remember, you can request aid or supplies from us or Wilhemsborough as well.

Our itinerary is as follows - Basic essentials>Habitation>Cleanup>Economise.

Could you send a team to the hydrodam to check the generators there? Basic lighting would be great if we can power it off the grid. Just be aware short circuits could cause fires, so heavily damaged sectors of the city should be taken off the power grid until we've run a few sweeps - the last thing we need is uncontrolled electrical fires.

We've had a bit of trouble with disease and the dock's - Faux Pas made landfall but the docks have been heavily damaged. We may need to consider airdrops if we can't dock supply ships. At present the population's been pretty manageable - no fights or confrontations yet - but there's a few diseases going around - cholera especially. We may not have the medical supplies to deal with an epidemic, so it'd be especially good if we could get the water treatment plants operational. We've constructed basic ablutionaries around base-camp, no reclamation facilities yet, but we're working on it.

We're hoping you can get back to us on these requests. The first priority would be to get the power grid back up, though.

We've constructed basic ablutionaries around base-camp, no reclamation facilities yet, but we're working on it.

Reconstruction effort, as has been skirted by our Roman-Greek counterpart, has so far gone smoothly.

Central Aid, set up near Faux Pas's beaching, has already recieved in excess of a thousand citizens line up for medical attention and basic supplies. We've already begun scouring the streets for any stragglers, and we're currently setting up larger accomodation until such time as Roman Greece can build proper habitation. So far the CA consists of two city blocks cleared of rubble and set up with basics as well as a field hospital. The doctors would like to move into a useable hospital as soon as possible, and Roman Greece has accordingly been scouting for a viable area. We expect triage figures to rise steeply within the next two or three weeks.

We regret to report an outbreak of Cholera, probably caused by the damage to the water treatment plant and other disaster-related factors. We've asked Roman Greece to, once the Hydrodam has been restored, to repair the Water treatment plants and get basic sewerage systems running. We've set up basic ablutionaries, and have the waste matter compacted and burnt as fuel for the furnaces and heaters in Central Aid. This both gets rid of the problem we face with Cholera outbreaks, and attracts more citizens to Central Aid.

One or two problems with food handouts - an attempt to overrun the distribution tents was met with regretfully lethal force. Two men brandished guns and attempted to extort more food. Both were shot by the guards on site. Your Guards.

We're clearing the roads to the main streets and beyond the city, and have set up check stations leading to Central Aid and the Government Buildings. We'd like more men for an expeditionary force out to the Farmlands beyond the city - the sooner we can get some self autonomy the better.

No organised resistance as of yet, but a lot of the citizens we encountered were edgy, and didn't like the armed men. We tagged each citizen we saw and have a growing database. We expect to, once we have found it, compare this to the country's national register.

The Docks will need to be rebuilt as soon as humanly possible, so once the hydrodams and water treatment facilities are running, Roman Greece and Kasimian teams will attempt to rebuild a viable port. We may need to excavate the bay of Boy Scouts and build entirely new foundations. We'd appreciate your input, if you have any troops to spare for this job.

The General looked out the window and marveled at the destruction. Even here on the coast, at the edge of the destruction, he could see the extent of what the bombers had done.

Looking closer, he saw construction crews and vehicles hard at work getting the nation up and running again. But they weren't under the command of the Principality. These construction crews came from Wilhelmsborough's allies Roman Greece and Kasim Sul Nahr.

It was these two countries which the Principality had chosen to rebuild their new colony after it had been taken over. Progress was being made, but there were still plenty of problems regarding the distribution of food and water. This was why the 3rd Air Fleet was here.

Still, General Paul was a bit disappointed. This was the first mission of the Air Fleet, and it involved humanitarian aid in the form of 8 million pounds of food, and 2 million gallons of fresh water. General Paul would rather their first mission had been a battle.

Respect doesn't matter. It's the fact that the largest nation's in Intewrnational Incidents at 5+ Billion haven't got an army the size of yours. At your population level you cannot have 250 Million men in your army - hell, no-one can. Your economy would be destroyed by having 25% of your population in your armed forces and your people would be rioting, government collpasing etc. A more reasonable percentage is 4-5% at most - say 50 Million or so.

Impossible. That would destroy your economic and social infrastructure, and ruin your economy when men and women are called away to a conflict.

OoC: Okay, Kriegorgrad is five billion people strong as a nation, and its armies (grand total) equate to about four hundred million in combat/indirect combat roles (not inc. infrastructure), and it is completely driven-into-the-ground.

Why can I do this and not you?

1.) I'm 5 billion big.

2.) I admit I'm dirt poor because of this military style.

3.) My military is awful.

4.) My people are brainwashed by the state.

5.) My military is horrid to control due to its disgusting bulk.

So I agree with Skinny in a way, you can't have more than 250 million in your army reasonably, you can RP having that many if you also want to RP how your nation is driven into the ground and is dirt poor because of your bloated military.

OOC: No offence, but then you have a shit army. The fact is, regular soldiers train EVERY SINGLE DAY, that's why regular armies in Western nations are normally seen as good, and 'elite' soldiers not only train every single day, but they also happen to have alot of combat experiance, instead of just training.

Week end soldiers have shown, and I know from personal experiance in the UK T.A forces, that they take longer to train to regular army standards, tend to suffer from skills detteriation (basically, the forgetting of skills. Known as knowledge attrition. Shooting a rifle, swordsmanship, and other high concentration required skills that take alot of training to learn) since they're not always practicing drill, and because they're not under constant scruitinty, tend to be a bit less organised, and more sloppy. Having n army almost entirely made up of reserves means yuo have a very, VERY small core of highly trained troops who have any experiance, so essencially you have an army of partially trained, reputation hyped rabble.

"Once the Government buildings are rebuilt we'll move the Command structure there, and I suggest you do too. I'll call the CO of the troop complement, and arrange for a meeting, so we can determine troop distribution. How's that sound?" He enquired.

The Colonial Militia will be armed, but not armed so much that they could possibly pose a threat to the Principality. There will be a maximum of 10,000 soldiers armed with AK-47s. They will be provided with combat uniforms, but no body armer.

I am also providing them with 150 Ford Pickup trucks armed with machine guns. Before you start complaining, please do not forget who has the tanks. But I have also decided to provide them with 24 Sea Harrier FA2's. Now, some of you may object to providing them with fighters, but I see no problem with it. The Sea Harrier is the weakest fighter in our Air Force. Our Su-27s, which we are stationing at the military base, could easily shoot them down.

Though the land of OA Boy Scouts is our colony, we here in the Principality believe that they should be allotted some measure of self determination, if only to present the illusion that they are in charge of their country.
