Aidan O'Neill sat at the top of his Combat Air Fleet's Flagship, The Niall Noiglach, and looked out as the sun set over the western shores. He could see the First Royal Navy at dock guarding the entrance of the Canal that his father had built.

His Green Dress uniform was neatly pressed, though he looked uncomfortable in it, like he preferred different clothes. He knew that his pilots where saluting him as they came in to land at the Castle Meath and Kyee Notaire Carrier Airships.

However, at this moment he had one thing on his mind, the noble young lady who was on her way to meet him. He wished his father could be there to meet her, but knew that Keara would probably approve of this Christina Ducas.

Down below in the streets of New Dublin, activity was raging as the city preparred for the arrival of the young lady. Even the Palace Guards where actually smilling instead of their usual frown.

Christiana Ducas dressed in a formal outfit of purple colour. She wondered about how the meeting with this Aidan would turn out.

Christina finished packing her light luggage and went on a navy ship, the HMS Constantine XI Palaeologus to get to Niall Noiglach.

She fixed herself up as the ship made anchor in New Dublin's harbours. The HMS Constantine XI Palaeologus was noticable due to its Roman Greek naval flags and so on.

The ship fully made anchor and she came on to dry land (the first time since the last couple of days). She looked at the city and thought of how nice and peaceful it looked. The sailors of the ship and the captain all waved to her and wished her well as they were preparing to leave for Roman Greece.

OOC-Is this a good opening? I wanted to have her come in a ship instead of a plane or something else. Also, thanks for RPing with me.

Aidan pushed the Notepad away, and knew that his butler would see to it that the message was sent. On the lawn before him stood 100 of his most loyal Combat Archers, his Royal Guard. They all buzzed in excitement at the prospect of meeting the young lady from Roman-Greece.

As the Royal Guard escorted Lady Christina to the strecth Limo that awaited her, two large armored cars appeared from side streets, and cut off the Limousine. Out stepped men in tattered orange jumpsuits, each of the forty men held Sten Sub Machine guns.

"Lady Christina Ducas, you will come with us." The leader ordered, "Or you will die."

In a warehouse on the outskirts of New Dublin, a man in a white robe stood before the gathering. The people in the warehouse where dressed diversely. Some wore the cliche orange prison out fits, others wore white clothes bearing the swastika, while others wore clothes bearing a red cross simmilar to that of the Norsefire Party from V for Vendetta.

"My children, the time is close at hand for us to throw off the yoke of the Opressors. The False Church has ruled over us for years, now it is time to prepare, for we shall throw off that yoke."

(I shall be opening up the Religous Civil War thread soon, so bear with this here till the situation with Lady Christina Ducas is clarified.)

That is ok with me. Besides, I am sure this will turn out into an interesting RPG. Nice idea by the way.

Aidan began pacing, back and forth, looking out into the Grimian Sea, wondering where the young Lady was. He had seen the ship dock with his own two eyes as it sailed past the Yurkan embassy and into Cruise Ship Row. He had lost sight of most of the ship, but he knew as he watched it sail north toward the Fortini Straight, that she had disembarked.

As he paced on the front lawn, a crackle came over the earpeice he wore 24/7 <"This is *crackle* 'Ight of the *Bzz* 'Alace Gu *shhhf* we are *crackel* taking fire from *bzzZZCrackkle* 'ASP. Requestin *shhf* backup.">
throughtout the transmission, Aidan could hear the sound of Sten SMG's against the sound of his Army's M-16's.

"Send the Harp and Eochaid to the dockyards now." Aidan roared at a nearby Dara-Lefteanant (Second Lieutenant).

"Marascal Archer, I want the 1st and 2nd Combat Archery Divisions in that area immediately. No one gets in or out unless they are accompanied by the Palace Guard."

Immediately, a platoon of his Technicals roared into the open area. Aidan hoped on the back of one of them, desperate to rescue the young Lady of the family Ducas from the hands of WASP.

WASP is an organization of racists who feel that all power and rights should be in the hands of White Anglo Saxon Protestents.for years they have operated in shadow, commiting small scale hate crimes as a constant reminder of their presence. This is their most open activity since the Riot on the Retribution. May St. Luthien be with us if we have to go through that again. I assume they where after you because of the signifigance of your visit. They probably wanted to use you as a bargaining chip. Knowing that Aidan, who is fiercely loyal to all, would be willing to switch places with you. They would then execute him. Knowing him though, the Harp and Eochaid have already cast off their lines, and heading this way with oh about 40 paratroopers."

Back at the docks, the Palace guards where being routed. outnumbered four to one, they fougfht bravely but where simply no match for the supperior numbrer of WASP footsoldiers.They grabbed the bodies, and loaded them into their truck and roared down the docks in the direction that Lefteanent Freelan had taken Christina down. Agents within the docking authority had already pinpointed the exact location, so it was merely a matter of arriving before the two Hyperion Class Airships arrived. and after looking at the distance, Wolf, the cell leader of WASP, was confidant they would.

However, she was not deemed structurally sound enought to do so as a single hull ship, so she was decommissioned. During the Irish Civil War in our homeland, the IRA cells under the command of Darian O'Neill came across it. They refitt it as a Prison Ship, and named it the Retribution. Every man woman and child associated with the British Army was placed in there. However, Radical Nationalists where also sent there, including Revrend Marty Bartholomew, leader of the Tyrone Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ Christian, a.k.a. Aryan Nations. when the war ended, we where exiled. All those in both America and Ireland left. We sailed the seas for years, looking for a new homeland. Five years into our voyage, we where in trouble. a young man known as Wolf had taken over the ship's prisoner poulation. They would riot over almost anything, food, water not enough sun, too much sun, whatever. One day, they started a riot that would mean the total and utter capture of the ship. They started killing guards, and it was looking bad. Luckily, a young priest, St. Luthien, was able to talk them down. Those who served their sentences quietly where promised freedom when we finnally landed on shore. As two generations passed, we where growing desperate. Niall made a suggestion, sail into the Bermuda Triangle. It transported us here. However, as we passed through the straights of Magellan, the WASP's rioted. St. Luthien tried to talk them down, but he was struck dead in his old age. When we finally arrived here, those aboard the Retribution where placed into a Prison Labor Camp, where they would work for the rest of their lives. Not all WASP's where aboard the Retribution, some where living in the cruise ships, and spread their message of hate. Now, there has been an apparent prison break. And the WASP's are back in force."

As he finished speaking, the sound of cars could be heard outside. Lefteanent Freelan walked outside, and was shot dead, in plain view of the Lady Ducas.


On the otherside of the port, Aidan's technical group roared down the service roads toward Cruise Ship Row. Hoping against hope that he would reach her in time. Overhead, the Eochaid and the Harp where moving at top speed down the port, scanning for heat signatures. Suddenly, the Harp stopped, an amazing thing to see for an airship of it's size. And it began to deploy paratroopers.

His driver saw them, and Aidan was propelled down the roads, strapped into the back of a truck, with a large machine gun attached to a rod sitting in front of him.

Wolf, Wolf the III to be exact, also saw them dropping down three buildings over, and smiled. He kicked the body of the former Palace Guardsman, and stuck his ugly head into the customs office with a wicked grin, "Hello Princess."

Christina listened to Freelan attentively as she was interested in listening and learning about the situation. When she saw Freelan shot dead by the WASP's, she was shocked that it happened and tried to find cover as she did not want to be shot herself. Later on, when greeted by Wolf, she did not know what to say to this offical of WASP. ''I am a Roman Greek citizen, I and my people are neutral in this conflict.'' Christiana said to him. Then she simply waited for him to reply, hoping that she was not to be a victim of the WASP or anything.

"It doesn't matter Princess, you will come with us." Wolf said.

Wolf's men roughly grabbed her, and placed a bag over her head.

They where taking her out to the car when the sound of a revving engine was heard. It grew and grew as 40 Technicals roared into view.

Though they where still several warehouses down, Wolf and Aidan could clearly see each other.

Aidan's driver revved, and his technical was pushed faster.

He could only hope that he would reach the car intime.

He did.

Out of nowhere, the eochaid had apeared and slammed round after round into the ground around the armored cars. This gave Aidan the time he neede to rush in, and through a gap in the hail of bullets. He drew the Claymore from his back, and started hacking at the WASP thugs. His blade dripped red with blood as he lept from man to man, his massive sword slicing throught them. When he reached the armored car in which Christina was being held, he tried to open the back door and found it locked.

"Hold on," he called, "Move back."

Pointing a small hand carried shotgun at the doors, he was about to pull the trigger when Wolf appeared and pulled him away. With an amazing shot, Aidan was stil able to break the lock and send them backwards.

Wolf's men roughly grabbed her, and placed a bag over her head.

They where taking her out to the car when the sound of a revving engine was heard. It grew and grew as 40 Technicals roared into view.

Though they where still several warehouses down, Wolf and Aidan could clearly see each other.

Aidan's driver revved, and his technical was pushed faster.

He could only hope that he would reach the car intime.

Out of nowhere, the eochaid had apeared and slammed round after round into the ground around the armored cars. This gave Aidan the time he neede to rush in, and through a gap in the hail of bullets. He drew the Claymore from his back, and started hacking at the WASP thugs. His blade dripped red with blood as he lept from man to man, his massive sword slicing throught them. When he reached the armored car in which Christina was being held, he tried to open the back door and found it locked.

"Hold on," he called, "Move back."

Shane didn't want to leave just as the action back home was heating up, but he had no choice. He knew that he was going to meet a beautiful young woman who was as feisty as Boudicca, an ancient warrior queen, and he was looking forward to it. His ship, the Spartan Class Defense Airship, The Boudicca, held all oh the gifts from his people to ICCD, including plans to build Thermal Depolymerization Plants, producing crude oil from agricultural waste. Once on board, the Airship set sail over the land and out toward the skies above the Bay of Baltrip, leaving the war behind.

Though the decorations where fairly simple, without any elaborate decorations on anything, they still shed an air of opulence. The bedroom was a pure white, covered in silk and other such materials.

"These are your quarters for as long as you stay with us. They belonged to my Step-Mother's family, before they died. It is perhaps the most interesting room in the entire palace, opulence in simplicity."

When Aidan walked into the room, a young girl was sitting curled up in his chair reading one of his books, it was titled, A Critique of Pure Reason by Immanuel Cant. She was startled when he walked into the room, she had not expected him this early. She quikly set the volume on the bookcase and apoligized, and explained to him how she "meant to suprise him by coming early" and because she "was excited to meet the man she hoped to marry."

"Well you are here to early, I was just going to change out of my Uniform, and into some more casual clothes to have breakfast with Lady Christina Ducas. You should have stayed in your homeland till a telegram was sent for you to come."

IC: The girl waited in the room abut a half hour, and finally, she became tired of sitting there alone and she wandered around the halls of the palace. She walked into a beautiful garden, full of white lillies and and rye, a strange combination she thought to herself.

Aidan changed quickly, and was out in his riding outfit, which constisted of a pair of tough slacks, Cowboy boots, a sturdy military jacket, and a stetson.

His Spanish Mustang, Epona, stood beside him, pawing the ground. She wore a western saddle, which is how Aidan preffered to ride.

OOC: yeah, WASP has been destroyed, :D. As for the whole escort thing, the courtship ceremonies are kinda strange here. Once the man's Mother, or Step-Mother in Aidan's case, approves of the woman, he places a circlet upon her head, signifying the first level of binding, the joining of the mind. Then, the young suitor must accompany the young lady to her home county, or homeland in this case, and receive her father's blessing, at which point he places a necklace called a torc around her neck, representing the joining of the body. Then, they spend a couple weeks together, at the end of which, Aidan will place a claddagh ring on her ring finger, the heart pointing in, representig their unofficial wedding as they join their souls.

"Many of the problems that the Church received criticism for was based out of Spain. The Inquisition, their militant stance against Protestants and so called heretics, where the cause of much of the strife that the Irish suffered under the British Colonial Rule. They where upset with Spain, and used the activitries of Catholic Spain as an excuse to treat my people like dirt, not to mention the natavism that Irish Exiles faced in America from Protestants. While we bear no ill will towards them based on religion, we do still disagree with the protestants politically. We used to have a fairly large Anglican Church, until they all allied themselves with the Neo's, and created WASP. We still have a large population of non-militant protestants, but they are not as large as they used to be."

As he finished, the doors opened, and an elderly man walked in, dressed in clothing from the Great Depression era, and carrying a fiddle under his arm.

Bands and families gather in courtyards, and preform traditional Irish party songs."
