Seph and myself have come up with a classic RP. we're looking for 5 players including us to take part in a survial horror adventure.
the story will begin when the crew of a Kirisuban Cherry Blossom warp shuttle picks up a transponder signal on an unexplored world.
Needless to say things won't be easy for them :D
A crashed ship will be found and the experimental subjects will have escaped into the jungle.
Now who is up for a good ole survival RP?

the premise is that this will be an unknown planet which the Kirisubans find my homing in on the crashed ships transponder.
a small team from each ship should work best as i'd assume they've follow the ships radio signals for a variety of reasons but mostly to rescue the crew or to salvage the ship.
a little background on your ship, size of team, their motivations and the leader would be helpful in tailoring the RP.

Uh, here's a little background info...
About the ship.
Name: Omnipotent Redwood
Length: 15.3 metres
Crew: Pilot+Co-pilot
Troop Capacity: 4 (5 in a pinch)
Armament: 2 Forward facing Plasma cannons
Special abilities: Cloaking, Drop pod deploment
This vehicle is a standard Covenant Scout/Infiltration craft. It looks like the bastard child of a Covenant Seraph and Phantom. It was used by the Covenant typically for bringing the extremely well trained strike team of four behind enemy lines. It was found by the Panda-men in a wrecked Covenant assault carrier, and adapted for their purposes. It contains four Orbital drop pods and various weaponry and equipment.
About the team.

Code name: Oak
Height: 6' 6"
Role: Group leader

Personality: Oak is an inexperienced leader, he is brutal and militaristic. He doesn't exactly care for his team, but he values their lives. He assesses the situation, asks questions, shoots later, asks some more questions.
Motives: Oak is following standard procedure, they must investigate such distress signals to see if Pandamic intel would value any recovered data or tech, and, if there's time, look for and interrogate survivors.
Weapons and equipment: Oak carries a Covenant Plasma rifle, pistol, and energy sword, along with four plasma grenades. He wears Covenant elite armour that has been tailored to a Panda-man, it has the shielding and active camo used by Covenant SpecOps.

Sounds interesting.
Though, currently I only have one planet in the Milky Way Galaxy, here (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=471482), we can still use Fluid Time.
If you don't want your guys to be hosts, you could still have found an Egg or two and have it/them in storage.

Zephyrs are the baseline gunship and large attack craft of the Dominion forces, supplemented by Typhoon Assault Shuttles. Gunships are more heavily armed, and can be deployed for longer durations, but do not have the large cargo capacity of the larger Typhoons. For their size, zephyrs are incredibly well-armed, though their hull and shield systmes leave a little to be desired. Speed and manueverability are the real defenses of the gunship, supplemented by the heat-flares. They are equipped with loading ramps for squad-sized groups of soldiers to make quick disembarkments on the battlefield. Zephyrs are not good for boarding actions or infiltration, however, where the Typhoons take precedence, though they can do so in a pinch. Their primary role is in atmospheric GAR and serving as space weapons platforms for heavy strikes on fighter screens and capital ships.

Personality: Brute is a mix of Scope and Blast, with humor and wit but still keeping his head out of the clouds. Brute is frequently labled as savage by the other squad members for his bloodthirsty attitude and desire to kill opponents. He is excellent is operating silent and behind enemy lines, and uses his energy blades as his favorite weapons. He is equipped with the same DC-22 enhanced rifle as Sarge, two energy blades to quickly move in amidst tight quarters, concussion grenades to stun opponents, and a DC-19 silenced pistol to quickly exterminate opponents. His body suit his been enhanced as well with heat and sensor dampeners to conceal his position, and camoflauge patterns to conceal his signature amidst natural backrounds.
The crew, sent out to hunt down a pirate captain, picked up the signal eminating from the planet, believed it to be the pirates, and followed it. That's the basic reason on why they're here.

these are the kirisubans involved in the RP.
they're a 4 man scientific team (all young women) that picked up the transponder while looking for possible colony worlds. Its standard practice for a scientific team to do a preliminary survey before a full ship is sent in.
Setting out from their mothership (the Kagemon) their warp shuttle (the Tsubaki) located this world by following the homing beacon.
Ship class : Sakura (cherry blossom) class warp shuttle. max speed warp 5. maximum crew complement of 6 people.
its unarmed and looks a lot like a BSG Raptor.
This particular Sakura has been outfitted as a mobile science lab hence only 4 crew on this trip.
they have shields and a very tough hull that could deflect small arms fire for a limited period.

Lt Alyssa Toda, an officer with a background in the sciences. carries a plasma pistol and scientific scanner
Ensign Mariko Akechi; security guard. she has a rapid fire plasma rifle and a standard issue long blade (think short sword).

We could always say you were actually 'hired' by one of my Empress's (or a higher Caste) to transport them in exchange for not being turned into hosts. Pretty much the same deal I'm going to IC'ly offer Godular and Parlim in my intro thread (and any other nation I encounter with ships (provide transport, or be turned into hosts. Lol, quite simple)). Though, one will contain, a custom Facehugger that I'm working on based on the Super Facehugger to 'implant' Empress Chestburster's into hosts.
This way, instead of having your character's die early because of the Chestbursters, you can also participate and have a possible ally early on.
