They had spread, not content to dwell alone and forgotten upon the baleful orb of rock and ice that the Protoss had gifted them, not willing to cower, feeble....No, enfeebled by the constraints of a single world. They had grown, learned from each fertile mind that fell to the Plague. Upon his mighty throne, the Lich King saw the ever-expanding possibilities of the universal whole.
The Cult of the Damned touched many worlds, a clandestine sect promising power and life eternal. Operating behind the facade of a benevolent organised religion; the Hallowed Order of the Liche, and dually as a corporation; the Menethil Foundation. Through these vectors, death became an art, a process, as slowly, their influence grew.
Labs filled with acolytes working their fel art, developing grander schemes, furthering the will of Ner'zhul; plagues and potions bubbled and brewed, insane scientists and surgeons pieced together Abominations, fed flesh to chained, half-rabid Ghouls. Each cultist lived merely waiting for Death, and to enter His service; and over all this insanity, lorded Kel'thuzad, the supreme agent of the Lich King. He watched with malevolent pride; buildings were summoned forth and the mortals worlds were changed. Blight and Death infested the fabric of things; existing structures changed, 'possessed' by his power. Power stations seethed and glowered with a sinister lightly.
It had begun.

ooc: well this isn't right. You can't have an open FT RP with no one joining. It just ain't right. I don't really know where you are going with this but I'll try to fit in where I can. You can TG me or whatever if you have something specific in mind.

Ashram had once been Emperor of a small island called Marmo on a planet in a far off system that was relatively ignored until the Abh Empire had stumbled over it. The system was now dubbed the Hero System since a large number of its warriors were being drawn from there.
A lone Dissith Cruiser glided through the emptiness of space. It's crystalline hull sparkled with an inner glow, almost angelic. However angelic was hardly the mindset of the man at the helm. Long raven black hair cascaded down the tall mans bark as it blended perfectly with his black armor and cape. In a room that was well lit, he seemed to absorb all forms of light into darkness. The demon sword Soul Crusher glowed in its sheath. Ashram could sense its growing hunger and power. It had served him well during his years of life and was the bane of many men.
The mix of Abh and human crew members busied themselves with making final checks on the ship. The cruiser was just one of many in the fleet, but this one was to be Ashram's teaching tool. He had been studying many functions of this new technology but he was hardly a pilot. He was a one-on-one fighter and military commander.
"Sir Ashram. What are your orders?"
His voice was like an avalanche, deep rolling thunder, and was ice cold when he needed it to be. The tactical display map was in the bed of the ship and they had slipped by many systems running inspections and investigating for any signs of life. He pointed to the next system on the list. "That is our destination. Make it so."
"Yes sir."

In the emptyness of space a lone dark ship sat still and lifeless. The crew of the ship was waiting for the time when the purgeing of the unworthy races would swing into gear. The mark of the ship showed only that it was a member of the Crimson Corp. But the commander of the ship didnt take his orders from Bui but from the Burning Shadow that lay beyound this reality. The human population in Neo Zeta was nearly gone thanks to the Crimson Corps work. The Commander of the ship was named Aesma Daeva. Thousands of years befor he had made a trip to place called Persia. There he was named Aesma Daeva the demon of lust and anger. His name in Persian means "madness" his name could not be more fitting.
The ships sensors scanned for anything of Human life but also kept its ears open to those who would aid in the purgeing of the weak races.
Aesma Daeva looked up at his secound in commander who dared not look him in the eyes. Aesma Daeva looked human enough save for the one horn growing out of the left side of his head, His red eyes and the black demonci wings. He spoke out loud and commanding " Somthing is on the move somthing of great power and of use to our cuase. Set a course to the following sector. Dont get near anything unless i say so and have our cloak on. We are now going into silent running"
With that the lifeless ship swung to life and then cloaked vanishing into the depths of space.

Some speculate that Ner'zhul was once an orc, a great warlock empowered by the Burning Legion. Others speculate that he was a man, or perhaps even another entity all together...
It didn't matter. All that mattered was, on the distant orcish fortress world of Nelvaan, Ner'zhul's summons were heard. The Earthen Ring was put into council immediately, and a plan was put forth to the Twilight's Hammer.
If this being was indeed an agent of the Legion, it must be put down. A single Kolkar-class battlecruiser would have been more than enough, but they sent three.

Upon the world which drew their attentions to it; the Scourge was ascendant. Glorious and mighty, unstoppable; the hordes of undeath poured against the mortal cattle, led in their horrendous combat by the Death Knight, Lord Frostwhisper. His black runeblade danced and shone with necromantic power; taking souls with each swipe, empowering him to grander feats of evil.
"Onward brothers! Onwards in the name of Ner'zhul!" His cry echoed forth in harsh repose, a shadowed call against the flames of a world scourged of life. "Each foe we slay, brings another to our ranks! Onwards! Onwards for the shadow! Onwards in the name of the Lich King!"

The Dissith Cruiser tore out of Hyperspace and converged on its next target. Scanners ran over the surface of the planet as they checked for everything. Ashram's chief of staff, Pirotess the dark elf, brought the scanning reports to him. "My Lord, it seems that the planet shows signs of life. How advanced they are, we cannot tell but there are signs of civilizations."
Ashram rested his hands on the hilt of his sword. "Prepare for contact."
"But my Lord, we do not know what to expect down there."
"Pirotess. Follow my order."
"Yes my Lord."

Aesma Daeva's cruiser exited hyperspace at the edge of the system its cloak still engaged.
" Run long range scans on any ship in the area and on the world in question." He said sitting in his command chair with a board look.
The sensor officer nods and follows the orders out and a while later shows his results " One Abh Cruiser unknown what their doing here i would assume exploration."
" Dont assume too much the Abh have those in their empire who can sence the things I can as well. They very well may be here looking for what drew me here as well." Aesma Daeva said
The Officer noded " As for the world their are lifesigns and signs of somthing else but the sensors say whatever they are is dead. I would assume there must be some interfernce. We should be able to clear it up once closer to the world"
Aesma Daeva smirks in a sly manner " Dont be so fast to doubt the sensors."

The trio of battlecruisers grew closer to the planet. While the other vessels played with their sensors and gadgets, Rik'tek the troll shaman knew exactly what was going on. There were tales of the dead rising to attack the living in the Gurubashi Empire's lore. Though he had never personally witnessed this act of supreme defiance to the code of the Earthen Ring, he had a rough idea of what it would do to the spirit realm. And there, on that world, it was happening.
"Train all da guns on da planet, mons. Put dem to da flame!" oredered the troll, as the massive phase disruptors of the lead battlecruiser rumbled to life and began charging. "Incinerate de whole planet. It can't be saved."

"Ready the defences"
"Yes, great Lord!" The acolyte bowed, even as the change began to sweep forth; structures, specifically built for the purpose, began to thrust great shards of diamond hard, plague-ridden ice into the air against the would-be attackers. "They shall not last long against the might of the Scourge!"
"Indeed..." Frostwhisper almost hissed, "Set them to the black flame beyond the ruin of worlds! Show them the cold hunger of the Nether and the Lich Kings wrath"

"Pirotess, prepare a shuttle."
"My Lord? The Horde is opening fire on the planet. Going down there would be suicide at the moment. What is it that you hope to accomplish?"
"We have come here to make contact with a new nation and I will not be stopped by some bombarding fools that attack on a whim. Once my shuttle is a way, bring the three Exiled Destroyers that are in Hyperspace into normal space. All four ships are to extend thier normal space bubbles and merge while they head for the planet. I want them to block Gaia Rodina's fire path."
"As you wish but I am coming with you to watch your back."
"Very well."
Three destroyers from the Abh Empire arrived from Hyperspace near the Dissith Cruiser. They merged as one with their space generators and moved to block the firing path of Gaia Rodina. A message was sent down to the government behind the shuttle that contained Ashram and Pirotess.
Though you may be underfire from outside forces, we are still here to meet a new nation. Do not be afraid, our ships are moving to block their firing path to buy us some time and little reprieve. The shuttle containing two representatives will arrive shortly. Greet them with respect.
A Shalaaman survey ship, the Prospector, entered the system. Captain Uriel Dayan could not believe the sensor results. He decided to take a closer look. When he saw the devastation, he decided to get back home before someone took a closer look at his ship.
