Hello, I am Cynthia Ives, Prime Minister of Leafanistan, rightfully elected by the people. Nearly 2 weeks ago, High Father, our psychotic former head of state lead a student revolution and has turned the Navy, Air Force, and Confederate Guard against our very people.

Thousands are dead in the once capital of Leafanistan, Concord. High Father's ragtag militia and foreign ursurpers are holding the city against the police action of Field Marshall Xiao's 3rd Army.

In the city of Soyuzolva, McKagan forces bombed civilian targets and obliterated an inactive military base and destroyed the city's only large hospital.

(Video of the artillery bombardment, civilians running left and right as soldiers try to direct them to safety. Shell lands nearby, video cuts off)

Red Tidean, McKagan and SkyCapt forces are preparing to support the madman and threaten to destabilize this country of more than 2 billion just like in Torontia. Civilians are being slaughtered by the indescriminate attacks by our own rebellious Air Force and foreign devils.

We also have evidence of McKagan helping what are believed to be remnants of the Kraven Corporation take over a small town called Xi'an Port then later detonating a nuclear device over the town killing everyone in it. We believe it was a nuclear missile from a former Kraven Slave State and we have not retaliated because we fear foreign retaliation.

(Timestamped Video tape from a UAV, showing McKagan frigates. As it flies over them the double hammers of a Kraven flag and a lone Capitol Police trooper are seen)

They wish to overthrow the struggling Leafanistani, democratically elected government and install High Father's cabal government and lead on their corporatist jackboots and crush all free nations.

We are weak and unable to hold off against the foreign imperializers without an effective navy and air force. We however are monetarily strong, holding large reserves of gold, silver, titanium, and oil. We also have processed uranium ore and plutonium. We are willing to trade at 80% of their market value for weapons shipments, specifically planes and ships. We also require foreign trainers to help us. However, foreign troops are not as welcome unless we can have assurances there will be no long standing occupation.

Thank you for hearing us out,
Cynthia Ives

Attention Leafanistani Governemnt. The Imperial Shogunate of Pschycotic Pschycos is willing to help support your nation against these foreign aggressors and unstable political madmen and rid itself of this violence. We are willing to pledge whatever you request, be it supplies or soldiers. If you request soldiers, you have my word and the honor of the nation of Pschycotic Pschycos that we will not occupy your nation for any length of time.

We find the actions of these foreign nations to be appaling, to support what is obviously a corrupt ex-leader against peaceful, innocent people who look to progress forward beyond such corruption. Our nation has vowed to stop such aggressors. We hope you will accept our offer of assitance.

We thank you greatly for your pledge of assistance and are greatly moved in our time of need. We mostly require modern ships and aircraft to stem the flow of enemy reinforcements into our territory. A massive snowstorm prevents their air forces from gaining too much of an advantage but with it clearing in a week, enemy naval and ground based air forces will severly damage our infrastructure.

We will trade our mineral resources as our currency is becoming unstable due to civil unrest. We also require anti-aircraft systems as McKagan air forces are some of the most virulent we've ever seen.

We also have a secret store of Tiberium Ore which we are harvesting and can be transported safely by shipping them within inert helium filled gold bars.

Sincerely,
Cynthia Ives

Official Message from the Office of the President of the Democratic Imperium of McKagan

To answer these charges brought against McKagan, I'd like to point a few things out. McKagan isn't giving official support to anyone in this theatre. Leafanistan is, or was, a great ally of this Imperium. Once civil war broke out there we were tasked to go in and stabilize the nation.

McKagan forces attempted to warn the civilian populace of the nation that their city, which was home to a significant enemy force that had retreated from an artillery base used to attack McKagan vessels, was about to be attacked. However, the reformist force there didn't allow this information to pass through, thus trapping the civilians in the city. The IMN was unaware that civilians were in the city at the time of the attack, but had no choice as to go through with it or not.

McKagan's current objectives in the theatre are to restore order and establish a link between the High Father's group and the reformists. However, that would be hard to do if High Father was dead. That's why it appears we've taken more steps in his favor than against him. While it is true that the reformists were elected to office under the old government and thus legitimate, so is High Father. McKagan forces are neutral until attacked. They've stoped their advance in order to seak out a more diplomatic sollution. It would be highly uncalled for to attack these forces when they aren't attacking anyone else.

The theory that McKagan is helping the Kraven Corporation is highly laughable. We only learned of their presence at the same time this UAV took its footage, and haven't acted on it at all. Although we do plan on stoping any sort of Kraven advance or reunification once we prove it indeed exists.

We encourage all other nations to send forces, or diplomats, to the theatre to assist in the reunification of the nation.

Signed,
Robyn Cavalt, President of the Democratic Imperium of McKagan

Thousands of Leafanistani citizens and soldiers are dead trying to defend against your 'stabilization'. An entire city lies ruined and occupied thanks to your 'stabilization!' Good show!

Not a single attempt at a radio transmission was detected and we can find no evidence of you trying to warn the civilians. Army units were in the city attempting to evacuate it. Citizens sat on trucks and scout cars driving out of the city in an attempt to flee and you slaughtered them. A single UAV would have been enough to see what was really happening.

McKagan's current objectives in the theatre are to restore order and establish a link between the High Father's group and the reformists. However, that would be hard to do if High Father was dead. That's why it appears we've taken more steps in his favor than against him. They've stoped their advance in order to seak out a more diplomatic sollution. It would be highly uncalled for to attack these forces when they aren't attacking anyone else.

We will have nothing to do with a manical man who is old as our nation and with his state of psychosis. He is bound to lead our nation into fear and tyranny. High Father was a threat to our nation and he demonstrated it by preventing police units from dispersing students and killing them.

The theory that McKagan is helping the Kraven Corporation is highly laughable. We only learned of their presence at the same time this UAV took its footage, and haven't acted on it at all. Although we do plan on stoping any sort of Kraven advance or reunification once we prove it indeed exists.

We lost communication with Xi'an Port nearly the same day as McKagan forces entered the theatre. McKagan ships had just entered the area being shadowed by our submarines. And once we launched a UAV to spy on them, suddenly a nuclear weapon goes off. Clearly, McKagan had something to hide there.

We encourage all other nations to send forces, or diplomats, to the theatre to assist in the reunification of the nation.

Signed,
Robyn Cavalt, President of the Democratic Imperium of McKagan

The time for diplomacy sadly ended the second the students rebuked me at a peace conference. We have had no success trying to negotiate.

Television Screens across Leafistani flickered, their normal viewing changed from news about the Civil war to static... then to a black screen, followed again by static... no doubt this would have caused some annoyance to people not affected by The War...

Suddenly the screen goes black once more, but slowly something fades into veiw... Disturbing... and some what of a confirmation....

As the leader of the democratically elected majority party of Leafanistan, the Confederate Socialist Reform Party, you have as much of a right to ask me to step down as I do to ask you to step down. From your situation in the Kravania Lone Alliance war, I doubt you can hold anything but a tiny offensive against our forces. We are the democratically elected leaders of Leafanistan and we are legitimate!

We aren't called the Reformists for nothing. We are trying to reform Leafanistan.

The Dominion has sympathy for your plight--Leafanistan. Our economy is doing well, we could prepares construct for you some AMGT-10 'Thunderclap' Main Battle Tank. In all reality its simply a domestic verison of the T-90, but since our military still has generally good control of the country. The amount of tanks that you say you can produce is only 20% of the total number of tanks already destroyed in the Battle for Concord. I believe you cannot replenish our forces fast enough for it and the struggle for learning a new tank system will be too much if the tank is only provided in such small numbers. However, if you can produce naval vessels we will appreciate the help greatly.

The Intelligence ship, the WNF-Carptha, was sailing toward the coast of Lefanistan, flanked by two F-100JN fighters from the carrier the Diamondhead about 150km away. Once the ship neared the coast, the fighters would U-turn and head back to the Carrier, and the Carptha would go silent. The first ship to use the brand new YSP-7 Radar System, it could moniter mechinzed froces movements, cell phone calls, radio signals, aircraft, naval craft, submarines, and almost anything else. It carried 15 UAV's launched from the sides by an EM launcher, that would take live video of Troop movements and Reformist military bases. The ships outer lights went off, and it sat in the water, listening..

We require no compensation for our efforts and resources. You will need them once this is settled in order to repair any damage. If you wish, we can engage our Eighth Fleet. She is equipped with many modern ships and carriers, including our four strongest SDNs. She also operates in cooperation with the Ninth Submerged Fleet, containing modern nuclear attack subs. If you wish, these fleets can be deployed in 4 days, manned by our sailors. We have no capable, unmanned ships to send, and this the only naval asset we could provide.

Along with these fleets, we can airlift 150 mobile AAA units, and 50 stationary anti-air missile stations. We can leave these to you to operate, and keep any surviving units.

"Ma'am, a Willink Carrier, acting natural 150km, moved in rapidly a few days ago."

"Can't be a coincidence. Get a satellite scan, scan hard for any emissions. I want to know where every last protozoan is doing in our ocean!"

"And ma'am, a burst array detected two signatures, most likely fighters trying to act stealthy and a tiny signature between them. I think they were escorting something that was much closer to the ground."

"Intelligence probably. Perhaps special operators. But Willink wouldn't operate in a theatre they don't understand. Probably special operators or intelligence equipment. Send a marine submarine and if it finds anything, swarm it with patrol boats. Also send reports of this breifing to Psychotic Psychos, they might be interested. Put it on the highest encryption we can, slap it on a DVD and ship it physically. Something this important should be like Project Carter, with no electronic communication whatsoever"

Reon City, Southern Leafanistan

The Improved Kilo-class Submarine drifted into the depths for yet another patrol of Leafanistani waters, but this time it was hunting a tiny dot on a RADAR signature. Its orders were shipped in an envolope and only the captain knew. Their 'official' orders were to transport jet engine prototypes to Saharistan. For anyone besides the Marine commanders and the Parliament they were going there.

We cannot ask your people to die for us, so ethically we cannot accept your offer of direct military assistance. However, we ask again for ships, outdated or not, to add to our navy.

Your offer of mobile AAA and stationary AA is extremely tantalizing and we will gladly accept. We have an airbase in Reon City to the south that is able to accept large aircraft. We will gladly take them.

We thank you again for your kind offerings in our time of need.

We have also sent a report detailing what might be a Willink intelligence operation in our waters. Satellite photos and RADAR readings have been sent.

With many thanks,
Prime Minister Cynthia Ives

Two Kreigsmarines, large in frame pushed a cart, it was a medical crash cart, and laying on the matress was a young woman, athletic in appearance...

She was out cold, and the two Marines pushed her through a pristine white corridor, the outside of the building looked old and decrepid, its walls were rusted and falling apart, but inside it had the cleanliness of a Medical centre...

the wheels gently squeaked as the trolley moved along the floor, ahead was a door, walking out was a doctor, he looked at the womanthrough his glasses and checked his note pad...

"Where is she from?" The Doctor asked...

The Leading Kreigsmarine snapped to attention, "Leafanistan Sir, a town called Xi'an"

"Good, Bring her in here, We'll prepare her..."

"As you wish Sir"

The Doctor returned into the room, followed by the Woman pushed by the Kreigsmarines, they wheeled her into the corner of the room, were an assortment of doctors were waiting...

"Ok, Lets get her prep'd, bring the bundles and swabs..."

Soon the Operation went underway, the Doctors hooked her up to a life support machine, while they began to work, they cut at the stomach, pulling back the flesh using clamps that held the two parts open, exposing the womb, two doctors at the same time were working on the womans head.

They cut open the scalp to expose the skull underneath, then with a surgical saw began to cut open her skull to expose the brain, another doctor had pulled up a table, cables and wires lay about it, as he prepared the Neural interface, the Doctors working on the womb, had now begun to attach cables and pipes to the surface, that would directly infuse the fetus with the various stimulants and the all important Psychological conditioning...

The Doctors working on the brain, began to cut out parts that enabled the higher functions, effectivly turning her into a vegetable, something that lived and breath, but was unable to cry out or form any kind of resistance...

They worked away for hours, preparing her body, her eyes were removed and replaced with wires that directly interfaced with her brain, monitored her health and that of the fetus...

The Doctors were wearing the standard white lab coats, but on their arms was a red arm band with the symbol of the Corporation, The Twin Hammers...

The Operation was complete, and this Former Leafistanti woman was no longer alive, but not dead... living in perpeptual agony, a human being mutilated into a horrific device to produce Capitol Police, something she would spend the rest of her life doing until her womb no longer produced eggs...

I apologize, Mr. Ives, Automails doesn't even have a navy to use--save a handful of transport ships and a small fleet of armed merchant vessels. Improvised of coarse. I suppose we could supply you with an small frigate, but the quality would be very little. As you can guess, out of a nation of five million--not a lot work in the naval warship yards. Though prehaps I could suggest, if you need, a group of troops? A battalion, say five-hundred men, at the very least they could provide some extra-support. As you said, you're being faced down by nations like McKagan, SkyCapt, and even rumors about the return of the Kraven Corperation. If that happens, you'll need every single soldier you can get your hands on.

Though, of coarse, these troops will be "yours" since if it leaked to the public our direct involvement in the war we would probably be attacked by multiple nations in an effort to 'teach us a lesson'. These troops will be 'sold' to you at an undisclosed price--that price being nothing. Upon the troops entry they will be under you command.

Do we have a deal, Mr. President?

As you said, you're being faced down by nations like McKagan, SkyCapt, and even rumors about the return of the Kraven Corperation. If that happens, you'll need every single soldier you can get your hands on.

Though, of coarse, these troops will be "yours" since if it leaked to the public our direct involvement in the war we would probably be attacked by multiple nations in an effort to 'teach us a lesson'. These troops will be 'sold' to you at an undisclosed price--that price being nothing. Upon the troops entry they will be under you command.

Do we have a deal, Mr. President?

Signed,
Soverign Triari Foxhammer

Its Ms. Prime Minister and yes, we'll pay $500 million for these men and arm them accordingly. Survivors after the war will be allowed to immigrate back to your nation. The money is ready to wire.

Official Message from the Office of the President of the Democratic Imperium of McKagan

Thousands of Leafanistani citizens and soldiers are dead trying to defend against your 'stabilization'. An entire city lies ruined and occupied thanks to your 'stabilization!' Good show!

No, an entier city lies in ruins and is occupied because soldiers retreated there after firing long range artillery at a McKagan fleet as it attempted to land our peacekeeping troops to capture the remnants of an enemy fleet that tried to cause a nuclear meltdown near our fleet.

McKagan naval vessels fired hundreds of leaflet-filled shells off into the city. Because of the terrible weather most of them would be scattered, but a few should have made it into the city. After Torontia we know how fascists like you run things, so we didn't even think about a radio being active in the city.

We will have nothing to do with a manical man who is old as our nation and with his state of psychosis. He is bound to lead our nation into fear and tyranny. High Father was a threat to our nation and he demonstrated it by preventing police units from dispersing students and killing them.

Or perhaps his psychosis was put forth once he joined the SWC and rebuilt the economy of several SWC-occupied nations? Seriously, he ruled the nation for so long that a few mistakes and bad fortune can't reflect his entier legacy. I also find it highly unlikely that you have the exact record of what happened in the square down accurately.

Let me correct you - McKagan ships were off the southern coast of Port Stevens for nearly twenty-four hours. They then engaged rebel forces who attacked them. After landing troops several of our soldiers reported hearing stories with the local population that revolved around losing contact with Port Xi-an. McKagan commaders determined that a fact finding mission to the area would be a great hearts and minds mission if the city had just lost communications. So a Frigate and a Amphibious Assault Ship were dispatched to the area. When the Marines were moving to the docks to establish communications they discovered Kraven flags and Capitol Police, and retreated back to the vessel. At this point your vessel, which I'd like to point out was a SSBN large enough to carry nuclear missiles, launched the UAV, overflew the city, and didn't find out much more than it already knew. Then the city exploded. Perhaps your Captain determined he'd be the hero of the day and destroy a Kraven infestation?

The time for diplomacy sadly ended the second the students rebuked me at a peace conference. We have had no success trying to negotiate.

You have no success trying to negotiate because you do not know comprimise. You declare things are "non-negotiable" and then act like a small child who's not being allowed to buy a toy he wants. Get around that and we'll talk.

OPEN TRANSMISSION TO LEAFANISTAN

As the leader of the democratically elected majority party of Leafanistan, the Confederate Socialist Reform Party, you have as much of a right to ask me to step down as I do to ask you to step down.

How you can call yourself a leader is beyond me, as the rest of the SWC can assure you, not only is leading Leafanistan to a Facist future dangerous, but as you can tell, your own allies will not allow it.

From your situation in the Kravania Lone Alliance war, I doubt you can hold anything but a tiny offensive against our forces. We are the democratically elected leaders of Leafanistan and we are legitimate!

Not only has Kravania stepped down, Let me assure you, our forces in VSI currently fighting Parthia a nothing compared to what our nations military strength is. We are more than capable of launching offensives against you. The last line tickles me, "We are legimate !", i just have to say, that sounds just downright funny and fake, just like your leadership.

We aren't called the Reformists for nothing. We are trying to reform Leafanistan.

How, how i ask you are doing that ?

[Triesa, McKagan - Presidential Ranch]

President Robyn Cavalt sat at the ranch that had been specially built for her, or future McKagan Presidents. It was a well kept secret; a place for Presidents to go and be normal between aspects that came with political life.

She'd been here for about two days, and was going to be for another four or so. It was a place where she didn't have to dress officially, or very much at all. She loved it here, and was actually considering having her agent invest in some land on a hill in the next valley over.

Sitting on a deck near a swimming pool her great morning was soon interupted by a visit from the MIDD Director, David Farve.

"Hey Robyn, I've got a few things I need to ask you about," he started. "We're operating in and around Leafanistan. You know that. But in the last few hours the reformists have put out an ad for naval equipment and anti-aircraft equipment. We can deal with that, we've got contacts, but we still need more allies in the theatre. I know this sounds sort of unethical, but there's a Willink Intelligence ship near the area. You just tried to pin the nuclear attack on Xi-an Port on the Ohio Class submarine that was near our Frigates. We don't have an Ohio Class in stock, but if we did, we could covertly use nuclear weapons against that vessel. It would draw Willink into the war and throw massive support behind your theory that the reformists nuked Xi-an Port. If you want to go ahead with this, just say so. We'll purchase an Ohio from DMG, offer to pay more for one that's already been started on, and then have a Submarine Tender intercept it just out of port. We'll arm the thing there and then sail on towards Leafanistan. Target time is an ETA of under 2 weeks."

Cavalt was shocked at the proposal and almost rejected it outright. "We formed that non-agression pact with them out of a war where they fired on McKagan forces WHILE WE WERE ALLIED. It wouldn't be a completly unavengeful action, but I'd still feel bad about it. But... it's still a chance at a massive PR cash-in. Go ahead and get the Ohio purchased and seaworthy; but talk to me before going ahead with the mission."

A group of low-flying cargo planes with fighter escort were approaching Leafanistan – from an angle different from that where the McKagan ships were. Only the Reformist command was informed of their arrival. In the meanwhile, the Allanean President made an address to his people and the people of McKagan.

*Allanean Anthem plays in the background*
*Allanean president appears on the screen*

The United States has long been a bastion of individual liberty, civil rights, and republican values. We have often come to defend them abroad – in the snowy plains of Antanjyl, in the scorched skies of Yurka, in the deserts of Aoogah, in the mountains of Axackal, the United States has always stood for freedom.

Again, we are forced to stand for freedom against the forces of McKagan. While we do not support socialism in any form, we are forced to admit that the democratic-socialist platform of the reformists is superior to the McKaganian aggression or the High Father neofascism.

As of now, I am ordering the deployment of 50 Iowa-N-class battleships, 100 Scylla-class submarines, and 10 George Washington-class supercarriers in the general direction of Leafanistan. They will be in combat range of the nation within several days. In the meanwhile this is my message to the nation of McKagan, and the leaders of the Kraven pseudostate:

We will come in, and we will destroy you. Like our glorious forces laid waste to the forces of Antanjyl, like we burned Yurka-city and Kinshash, like we destroyed the Aoogan army, so will you perish. Our soldiers will come, and harvest the skulls of your warriors, and make them into cups, and drink Pink Bunny Cola from them.

There is, of course, a compromise option. You have 48 hours to turn back from the Leafanistani shore and leave the country the hell alone. You do that, and in our great kindness, the Allanean people will grant your government officials and soldiers their miserable lives, while in all due time, we should impale them upon our bayonets.

To the Leafanistani people, I say this: stay strong. Soon enough, the Allaneans will be there – and, as we have done many times before, we will defend liberty.

Allaneans – you do not need to worry. You KNOW the power of the Allanean army. You can go to bed calm. Good night.

And may God bless Allanea.

Perhaps you misunderstood me. McKagan is neutral in this conflict. Although it would seem, as I understand, that we have taken up a stance against the reformists; that is not so. We merely support our Leafanistani brothers in the reunification of their nation.

I am not backing away from this cause. A sudden McKagan withdrawl from the nation would destabilize it moreso than it already is. Instead, in order to prove that McKagan is indeed neutral, we will agree to completly hault our ground offensive. At that, I'm also approving emergency funding, in the amount of 2 trillion United State Dollars, to be used to rebuild Leafanistani cities destroyed by both McKagan and Leafanistani action.

I emplore all parties to stop the pointless violence. Only then will the McKagan funds be released. I understand the differences between the loyalist and reformist party structures; but it could be worked out in a democratically and peaceful manner, alot less painful than an international conflict I will add. McKagan is the peaceful nation in this. It's not our fight, but our forces WILL defend themselves if warrantlessly attacked.

Fearing an attack by a massive force of vessels before IMN reinforcements could arrive, the IMN quickly begins shifting tactical nuclear assets towards Leafanistan. In the form of a new Attack Submarine Wing, they'll use their massive armament to cripple any fleet long enough for the McKagan vessels to escape.

With that, a massive number of transport ships are also called back to the nation. The Marines aren't going to pull out yet, but if it looks like the massive fleet is going to arrive with still hostile intentions (meaning, the diplomatic route fails), they'll have a way out of the nation.

We cannot accept this offer. While it is most generous, it involves the deployment of foreign forces, we cannot ask you to die for us. It isn't right.

In retrospect its probably best to state the true purpose of the CSRP. We were originally the Libertarian Party of Leafanistan, we died in the polls. So we changed, you can't just shift an entire country to a free-market system from a command economy in a few months. We must do it slowly, over decades so it feels natural and there is no opposition.

2 km from Spy Ship

Diesel-Electric Subs would always be quieter than nuclear subs and this gave the Improved Kilo an edge. The Improved Kilo is one of the quietest subs in the world.

The crew of the Improved Kilo sat in wait as the captain whispered what they had sighted. An enemy spy ship. They were to neutralize it. They had their orders.

Suddenly all the torpedo tubes flooded and the submarine began unloading torpedo after another. All 24 533mm torpedos moved toward their target. At first they moved straight forward with passive IR sensors trying to divine the enemy vessel by heat. It was useless of course, line of sight always worked best. Then the active SONAR came on at 700 metres and all the torpedos swerved slightly to try to catch their target. Only then would their simple circuit complete.

The Captain then broke radio silence and transmitted a short burst detailing a list of psuedorandom numbers and then a list of more numbers using a one-time key. Only the commander at the Naval Yard understood the message which required a 134-digit key to decipher. The psuedorandom numbers that preceded it were meant to throw off hackers. It listed the position of the enemy boat and called for an assualt.

The Captain ordered his boat to submerge to maximum depth and return to base.

The Caprtha's YSP Sonar system picked up torpedoes incoming at the ship, over twenty. The Weapons officer barked orders to the crew, which activated the Phantom anti-torpedo system. The Twin launchers emerged from side of the ship, using a locked signal, unleased 34 small high explosive munitions into the path of the torpedoes, which would rip apart the exterior, fins, and systems of the torpedos. The Captian ordered a hard bank, to dodge out of the way, while the Phantom launchers reloaded in 25 seconds. The Crew braced themselves for what would happen next.

The McKagan Central Intelligence Division always kept a close lookout for electronic warfare. This craft was becoming ever popular with a certain niche of nations who were powerful in most other forms of warfare but needed an extra edge to overcome some problems.

Because of the certain assets having an Electronic Warfare Department gained a military, the MCID learned to counter it in a very effective means, without actually making heavy investments into the technology themselves.

That said, the best way was to determine what exactly your threat was coming from and communicate another way. If a military uses satellites to communicate bombing information then a third party nation can park a satellite in the general area and spy on the laser stream. The sollution is to use encrypted radio messages.

Radio messages are the easiest to break, given that they are easily picked up and then it's only a matter of time until it's broken.

MCID soon learned of the possibility a foreign vessel was operating a radio traffic intercepting device near Leafanistan via tracking radio waves and noting that there were extreme disruptions. Because of this threat a Sultan Class SSN that was patroling near Leafanistan BEFORE the war started was rerouted.

Captain Lewis of RMV Akira had a sense of humor. He'd commanded an old Weiland Class Submarine during the Saharistan conflict. During that war he'd attempted to have a cruise missile attack take out a very large bridge on the coastline of the nation. He failed. During the attempted retaking of the nation by terrorist forces, however, he'd had one of the missiles his sub was ordered to fire stray a bit off course and blow the bridge, which was scheduled for demolition anyway, back to hell.

As Akira moved through the cold Leafanistani waters in an attempt to find the vessel, which had been semi-located in the first place, he laughed at the thought of who the vessel could belong to.

"Maybe it's Halberdgardia? They've been quiet... or Frozopia with their new, revamped navy? Meh, their ships would break down before getting out this far anyway... I think that's why they lost the war anyway," he said while sipping on his water.

The vessel was at something near 200 meters down. Below the range at which it could be successfully engaged by an attacking depthcharge, and deep enough to allow it the time to get away (go deeper) before an ASW Helicopter could get airborne.

It was unlikely that the mission would come to that, though. All Akira had been tasked with was discovering the vessel and "lighting it" with the LASER designator that was available from the UUV.

Then, suddenly, after eight hours (not counting travel time to get there) of searching the frozen ocean; between icebergs and the expanded coastline, the intelligence ship was discovered.

Holding himself back from giving the order to fire as if he was still in the Frozopia war, the Captain studied the image of the ship that was showing on the viewscreen.

After just a moment of identification proceedings, the signature of the vessel starts appearing on Tactical Readouts at several locations. The McKagan Fleet is now aware of the vessel, as well as the McKagan Central Intelligence Division's Warfare Department in Triesa, McKagan.

"Sir, the Intelligence ship is under fire from a Kilo Class Submarine. We're still invisable though, orders?"

Captain Lewis was sort of shocked. They should have seen the Kilo, but being an electric vessel the mission report wouldn't be totally against him; since they're just as stealthy.

"Follow them. We're too deep for them to open their torpedo tubes to fire on us even if they DO see us. Drift upward too, fire as soon as we're in range," he responded while getting a more stable seating position.

The helm officer was itching for a fighting, and thus put the ship on a greater slope upward than he should have, but it didn't really matter anyway.

After finally coming to firing depth, Akira opened its tubes and fired off its snapshot of five torpedoes, reloaded, and fired again. Set to explode NEAR the vessel, the damage would either be enough to destroy it or force it to surface.

Even with Akira making an attempt at chasing the yet unidentified submarine away from the Willink intelligence vessel the IMN still doesn't have surface power in the area to aid in the attack that it's obvious the Kilo would be the frontrunner in. Because of this a Surface Action Group, consisting of a single Revolver Class Cruiser with two Illusion Class Frigates and three Kurora Class Corvettes is established and begins to travel towards the vessel. It'll arrive eventually, and then keep it secured until Willink reinforcements can arrive.

The massive, dual-deck battlecarrier sat proudly in the calm water, making no headway at all. The six officers at their stations and the captain sat absolutely still; dust motes floating past, glowing in the sunlight. Quietly, as if afraid to break the still, one of the computer consols began to beep with an incoming message. The captain rose out of his chair and stepped off the podium it was mounted on. The captain straightened up, clearly surprised by the orders. They put hiim 20 miles away from Willink's ship, currently under assault according to the latest intelligence. 20 miles was just over the horizon. The last part slightly troubled him, but the Brass knew what they were doing. He made his way back to his chair, climbed up and sat down. He dialed a few numbers into a keypad on his right armrest, and the display on it lit up, showing the bridge of the fleet's flagship, ICS Honor. "Admiral Starwin here."
"Admiral-san," the captain said, "this is Commodore Sano aboard the Shinotara."
"Go ahead."
"Sir, we've received new orders to sail. Requesting clearance to break away from the fleet and come about to heading XXX*"
"Clearance granted. You are clear to come about to those numbers, the way is clear," the admiral replied. "Happy sailings, commodore."
"Domo, Admiral-san," the captain said as the screen went blank. He ordered the two helmsmen seated ahead of him to turn to the new heading and increase to flank speed. With dual "aye"s, they complied with the orders, and soon the ship had groaned, coming about to the new headings. Ahead of them was a gap between the dull grey sides of several ships, through which the Shinotara headed, out toward Leafanistan.

You are cleared to land, follow the green lights on the ground and ground crews will meet you at end of runway.

Partially Frozen Northern Sea, Leafanistan

The Improved Kilo was about to deploy its sound-based counter when the propellor stalled. The captain dashed to the console and found some unusual readings. He ordered to immediately surface. He wondered why the torpedoes hadn't struck yet.

On a hunch he checked out a radiation counter and saw it was unusually high readings outside. When the sub finally surfaced he raised periscope and saw he was right. Algae Tiberius. The entire ship was caught in it and immobile. The enemy torpedos must have caught into it too. They were smaller and didn't have the force the sub carried to plow through the intial layers. The captain sighed. He sent a distress call, along with a surrender note.

He ordered intelligence to be destroyed and to start pouring hydrocholoric acid on the machines. He got the Leafanistani flag and a white flag and opened the top. He was about to raise it when he turned around and a tendril electrocuted him. The crew paniced and began to flee as the captain's smoking corpse stank up the ship.

A few more were electrocuted and the shadow hanging over the sub left. The crew members who did make it were tore apart by Fiends. The Tiberium field was now huge.

And if the McKagan sub didn't realize what had happened it would be in the middle of it very quickly.

150m from Willink Intelligence Ship

Most of the torpedos were shredded and began to move erractically or sink to the bottom of the ocean, crippled. Only 6 more were close enough to activate the final part of the program, a psuedorandom number generator kicked in and the remaining torps began to swevre, seemingly randomly, improving the chances of a hit. All while getting closer and closer to the Willink ship.

The Carptha had been moving for about 4 minutes when the rest of the torpedoes continued toward her. The ship frantically loaded the Phantom launchers again, getting off another 24 Muntions into the group of remaining torpedoes, if it missed one, it would fly past it and hit the one next to it. The ships captain ordered her to stop, and the engine stalled... The crew was ordered to brace for impact, and they waited. After what seemed like 15 minutes they side with relief.

http://img106.imageshack.us/img106/5558/intelhit2fq.jpg

But then an explosion rocked the ship. The men grabbed on to what was in front of them, and alarms started ringing. The ship had been hit near the stern, about 18 meters forward of the Propellers. The Carptha was taking on water, but it's watertight doors had blocked the bulk of the flooding, but a few remained open and sprayed water into the ship below deck. The crew franticaly locked off these areas, but the water was already abundant enough to cause the ship to list rather heavily. The crew intiated the emegency controls, but with these the maximum speed enabled was only 7 knots. It began to flee to the East, but not before its ASW helicopter was launched from the rear heli-pad. It had seen the Submarine surface on Radar and had been ordered to destroy it.

The McKagan submarine had just came from its surverying depth and hadn't reached its full speed by the time the Kilo Class Submarine had ran into its issues.

"Sir, our torpedoes are... stuck... in something. Some sort of algae. Oh fuck... erm... an MCID satellite just recorded their Captain being... eliminated."

Lewis was highly freightened of what exactly he was up against, but didn't show it. "Ok, stop us and back away from that mess. Have the Cruiser we've got coming in laugh a SH-75. Those prisoners aren't going anywhere, either," Lewis said while walking to a Tactical Readout.

"We're going to cut off their only other means of escape," he said while switching the simulated weapons effect readout to the missile armament the ship carried. Akira was watching shipping - not providing land attack. Thus, their land attack cruise missiles were useless. To clear out part of the ship (making it lighter and hence more combat worthy), he would utilize the missiles.

Akira moves to a position several hundred meters from the algae field and fires off 10 massive bunker buster missiles. They don't target the submarine or the field, but the ice. They look to blow a massive crack in the ice just beside the submarine, cutting its crew off from any possible land route of escape.

You have launched ASW helicopters against the stranded submarine. The crew of this vessel is cut off from any means of escape. We are looking into a way of getting through the natural barricade and capturing these men. Currently there's no threat to your vessel from them; if enemy forces move in we will allow the submarine to be destroyed. But for this time we suggest that you do not attack the submarine.

TOP SECRET ENCRYPTED MESSAGE

From: The Fascist Republic of Kravania

To: Confederacy of Leafanistan

Dear Cynthia Ives, Prime Minister of Leafanistan

I am writing this message to you on the understanding that this is the first diplomatic exchange between our two nations.

I would like to start by informing you and the government of Leafanistan, that the Fascist Republic of Kravania is in full and total support of your government as the only and sole legitimate governmental authority in the Leafanistani Confederacy.

Kravania, despite being a Fascist nation, is in support of your cause and we are in total opposition to the faction in your nation's conflict which claims to be 'Fascist'.

Kravanian intelligence reports tell me that the Leafanistani 'Fascists' are nothing but an organised crime outfit which is using the Fascist cause to give their criminal activities a political cover.

Kravania will supply weapons, military equipment, supplies, food, medical supplies and intelligence reports and data to assist your nation in this, a troubling episode in your nation's history.

Kravania clearly observes the insanity and the danger the 'High Father' poses, not only to your great and noble nation, but to the world at large.

It also saddens me to see your former allies, McKagan and Willink assist the enemies of your nation.

Kravania has been the victim of McKagan and Willink agression, we have lost over 70 million people in a nuclear attack on our nation by McKagan and a domestic terrorist movement that McKagan gave support to.

I do hope that you can understand that both our nation's are very much in common, both of us have suffered at the hands of internal traitors and terrorism, along with having other outside powers manipulate events from afar, for their own vile and sinister ends.

Kravania would like this dark era of both our nation's history, to be a new window of opportunity, for Kravania seeks your nation for the long term as a friend and an ally.

Kravania would also like to ask if your government can assist us with one small problem.

At the end of the Kravanian war against the Lone Alliance, Willink and McKagan, Kravania agreed to disarm it's nuclear weapons, under duress.

McKagan has just used 1000 nuclear weapons against us and I decided, like I always do for I care for my nation and the people, that I make this concession to stall further attacks of this kind against my nation.

However, Kravania has no real intention of disarmament, thus I ask you if you could hide and conceal 900 nuclear tipped Peacekeeper II ICBMs that belong to the Kravanian Armed Forces?

Kravania would pay you a rent for storing the ICBMs and cover all expenses involved in their upkeep and maintanence, thus you only need to give us some room for these ICBMs to be stored.

I hope you consider this offer and our two nations can become strong together as allies in the future.

Great Leader and President for Life

Hello. This is Commander Alisha Robertson aboard RMV Dauntless, an Avisron Class Cruiser assigned to the Surface Action Group coming to defend your vessel until a Willink Fleet can provide security. We'll be in helicopter range within the hour, and I have some questions to ask you. Do you mind allowing McKagan Special Forces aboard your vessel in order to take a look at the damage you have suffered? That said, our infirmary can handle any wounded sailors you have until your fleet arrives. With all our assets available to you I only need to know a few more things. Is your helipad still operational? We're seeing a very large list in your vessel. If this isn't an option we can insert our forces by LTAC. Please advise.

Somewhere in Leafanistan

The first dark-painted aircraft sped down the runway as it set up to land, it’s monstrous engines running slower and finally inert as the unloading ramp was lowered and people rushed out.

Those were Airborne soldiers, well-trained in war and logistics. Their job was to deliver weapons to the Leafanis. The planes –coming in in a continuous ‘air bridge’ were ordered to deliver 10,000 RDE-663 ground-based anti-ship missiles and the mobile launchers that were designed to move them into position – 100 launchers, in fact. It would take a long time, but they’d be delivered. Also delivered would be hundreds of Airborne troops, whose job was to train the Leafanis in the arts of war and resistance.

The Government of Kahanistan has long been an enemy of the Kraven Corporation, and our intelligence indicates that Kraven still exists after the Freekish invasion.

We are unable to supply combat forces to this theater of operation, owing to having sustained severe losses in a recent clash with the forces of CAD. We will, however, provide 30,000 logistical and support troops, including 500 military advisors, for the defense of the elected Government of Leafanistan. The logistics will include 25 fast combat supply ships, 40 troop transports, and ten destroyers to protect the ships. They will not engage in combat unless directly attacked.

The transports will be carrying surplus Merkava IV MBT's, RPG-7V1 rocket launchers, TAR-21 assault rifles and ammunition, and two million MRE's for troops and starving citizens. NBC gear and body armor is also available, in limited quantities, we can spare about 15,000 suits of NBC and 40,000 Interceptor vests.

This fleet is mobilizing as I write, and should deploy in two days.

A Doctor garbed in a white lab coat, placed a scalple against the womb of some evicserated woman, her body was in a constant state of limbo, her mind aware, but unable to scream out, unable to see, unable to stop the horror...

She could hear the Doctors talking, disscussing the procedures as they went about their work...

"The Subject is ready, we are preparing to remove it now.." The Doctor continued as the scalple made a clean cut, splitting open the womb to reveal a blood soaked baby inside, The Doctor carefully lifted the child out of the womb, as another doctor cut the umbilacle chord...

Another Doctor placed the child into a white towel, the child had yet to make any noise, the Conditioning of the childs mind preventing it from doing so, until a Doctor placed a needle into its arms and injected a stimulant, within a few seconds the babies eyes began to open, slowly at first, adjusting to the unbearable light... until the eyes were fully open, aware... looking around the room with intent... its mind already a peice of Kraven Perversion...

"Ok, Sew up the womb and prepare it for the next Fertilization Procedure"

"Understood..."

The McKagan Central Intelligence Division, in a rather obvious move, had parked SST Satellites over each and every airfield in Leafanistan to keep out a rather massive eye against people who would attempt to prolong the war by giving the reformists (or anyone else) the ability to strike out against the McKagan fleet and thus draw a massive McKagan retaliatory strike.

The missiles were quickly identified. Even without knowing their exact type, it was obvious they were anti-shipping units just by their size. To deal with the problem the McKagan fleet is given new guidelines on staying away from the shoreline. In the area around where the fleet is operating most, the landing zone, a massive Marine force spreads out to prevent missiles from being set up in that zone.

He walked over to the shogun's desk in a surprisingly youthful gait, and stood at attention, waiting for the shogun to notice him. Except the shogun didn't notice him. The old man gave a slight cough to announce his presence. The shogun looked up and addressed him, "it's good to see you Admiral Yamamoto! What can I do for you today?"
Admiral Yamamoto bowed and saluted, then gave his report. "Sir, in regards to the Leafanistan situation, Alleana is sending a fleet in nearby to the area. Admiral Gene Starwin from the 8th Fleet is requesting authorization to proceed in to cover them. You said that anything dealing with this conflict was to go to you first. Are they authorized?"
The shogun thought about it for a moment. "They are one of our closest allies. OF course. The use of the 8th and 9th Fleets to back up the Alleanaian navy is hereby authorized. I will personally send the message to Alleana."
Admiral Yamamoto smiled. "Consider them on their way, Your Excellency," he said, bowing and retreating from the room. Shogun Himura stopped him.
"Admiral, how is Starwin doing? Is he ready?"
"Sir, he is as capable as I was out there."
"Good. Thank you."

Ben Kinsman,
King & Lord High of Qxilua and General of Qxiluan Army, especially Troop 8, Unit 5, Subdivision 6, Division 1

Live Action
Three squadrons descended on Concord under the cover of night, dropping from helicopters proudly bearing the flag of Qxilua. They infiltrated the temporary headquarters of the insurgents and began exchanging fire with the guard patrols :sniper:

The battle was quick and easy, with only one wounded, and the Qxiluanis forged inward, surging toward the building. Heavy fire erupted out of the darkness, and they retreated quickly, but went around the side, broke a padlocked window and poured into the building, setting a bomb, and then racing back out to a safe place. :mp5:

It blasted off half of the building, but, unfortunately, they hit the unoccupied half, and the rebels charged out of their barracks and began launching artillery and grenades. :gundge:

Firing back, the Qxiluanis inflicted heavy casualties. The victorious Qxiluani soldiers occupied the building and erected both the Leafanistani and Qxiluani flags atop the bombardments. The massive Kraven Corp soldiers housed across the city came out of their houses and raced towards the ten score Qxiluani soldiers.

Suddenly, Leafanistani warriors ran across the streets to aid Qxilua, and the force of the freedom fighters looked formidable. However, the Kraven Corp still outnumbered them by two to one.

Captain Alejander Yunj frantically sent an encoded message to his superiors back at the capital of Qxilua, Capitaltown (renamed En-Marj) requesting immediate reinforcements. He knew his two hundred fellows could not hold out for very long against a superior four hundred rebels. He could only wait...

0700 hrs Qxilua Standard Time

At the government, General Ben Kinsman decrypted the transmission. "Hmm," he mused. "Alexandra!" he called to his secretary and minister. "Please deploy one thousand more troops immediately to Leafanistan to help our friends. Use the sub-speed-of-light ships."

"Yes, sir," Alexandra called and she sent out the orders.

0800 hrs

Another thousand Qxiluani troops descended into a melee. They started firing at the disorganized faction of Kraven soldiers, whom, facing a torrential and potent outpouring of bombs, gunfire, and grenades, disgrouped and battled frantically.

The Kraven troops officially surrendered their weapons at 0900 hrs after three hundred of their four hundred were either deceased, wounded, or missing in action [read: deserted].

The Qxiluani troops raised the Qxiluani and Leafanistani flags over the capital city once more and reveled in their victory, though they knew the worst was yet to come. Kraven troops still effectively controlled about 90% of the country, though their grip was gradually weakening.

The 1,200 soldiers marched onward from the capital, leaving behind a force of five hundred to secure and control the city in lieu of the rightful president, Cynthia Ives. Everywhere the Qxiluans went, both sides suffered greatly, but by Tuesday (2 days later), the Kraven controlled only 40% of the country.

Finally, after General Kinsman sent over 20,000 more troops, the entire country was recaptured and handed over to the Reformists. Qxilua retained a small portion of the country as payment for the losses that occurred during the violent war - about 2,000 losses, as it happens. The Qxiluan-controlled land contained several small cities, but it was little for Leafanistan to pay.

Upon hearing from the Captain of the Willink intelligence vessel that was now listing badly and possibly going to sink the DART Team aboard Dauntless prepared to launch.

The six man team dressed fairly lightly for the mission, not expecting combat. Still though, they each took a single KAM-12 SMG and the standard battlesuit.

They'd been told not to fly with a helicopter, but they had prepared for such difficulties while in training off the coast of Saharistan. As they boarded the GTY-09 Tactical Lift Helicopter one of the DART's turned around. "Is my camara plugged in," he asked the person behind him. He felt a switch turn.

The battlesuits had multiple recording devices plugged in, just to catch anything that may happen to wander by them on a mission to a state of the art Intelligence Gathering Vessel.

The helicopter lifts off and moves towards the Intelligence Vessel. Then it stops and hovers over the flightdeck of the vessel. The door slides open on one side and a rope slides out to the deck below. Then, one by one, the DART's are inserted to the vessel.

Major Yemit, the DART team Commandor, quickly establishes that they should have waited the extra hour and inserted by LTAC instead. While the GTY-09 Helicopter moves away in the background, he moves up and waits for someone to meet him at the door into the vessel.

"I'll have to admit," Yemit started, "I don't think McKagan operates anything like this. Most of our intelligence is either satellite based or submarine based. This is definately something we're looking into, though. I'm putting in a suggestion to the IMN as soon as I get back. Allanean First Fleet Position, Within 450 kilometers of the Leafani Shore

“Ladies and gentlemen, we're in range from the Kravenian broadcast.”

“They're broadcasting?”

The navigator nodded as he pointed at the screen. “Here. Propaganda of some form, it seems.”

“Very well. Do we have the firepower to shut it down?”

“Are you kidding, Admiral?”

The naked man on the huge main communications screen chuckled. “Of course I am. I sent that firepower. Lock on to that broadcast. Do not fire yet. The Congressional announcement is about to come at any minute now.”

The sleek outlines of the Scylla-class submarines spread out in the waters near Leafanistan. Inside them, blue-clad troops were in their positions, eyeing possible targets, the elongated bodies of the cruise missiles hanging snugly in their launch bays, ready to go off at the slightest push of a button.

The Iowa-N battleships advanced in a crescent-like formation towards Leafanistan, using sattelite guidance to lock on to the approximate location of the broadcast. Soon, soon, they would act. But not yet. The broadcast they[/u] were waiting for had not yet come.

Aboard the ten supercarriers, strike fighters were fueled and armed, ready to take off into the Leafani teritory – whether Cyntia Ives approved it or not. Only one approvement was needed.

Two hours later, when the forward ship of the formation, the USS Total Demolition was 410 kilometers from the shore.

Official Announcement of the United States Congress of Allanea

We realize – we understand – we recognise the request of Cynthia Ives that no Allanean soldier will be sent to die for a Reformist. Indeed, as the Reformists are so far socialist, we see no good reasons to send soldiers to die for them. And we will not.

But the Kravenian totalitarianism – a state where the ruling power controls all the means of production – is nothing but communism by a new name. It is evil, it is repulsive, it is murderous – and it is a danger to all civilised people on this Earth.

And this is why we will send Allanean soldiers to fight and die – not for Leafanistan, but for Allanea. As of now, we declare war on all Kravenian interests. We have ordered, given these circumstances, the deployment of 100 [i]Ardent class escort frigates, 20 Centaur-class Guided Missile destroyers, and ten Ocean class carriers to deploy in Leafani waters to reinforce the other forces there.

May God bless Allanea.

As it was announced, each of the 25 Iowa-class battleships launched 10 Tomahawk missiles. Of those, 20 were to home in on the exact source of the broadcasting, while others were aimed at a wide variety of structures near it. A mix of HE and incendiary warheads were used, as well as 10 EMP warhead – 120 HE, 120 Incendiary, and finally 10 EMP warheads.

The war has finally begun.

"Admiral, the Allanean fleet is assembled 450 kilometers from Leafanistan."

The admiral looked across his desk at the commander. "Yes, they are there to fight the Kravanians."

"So, shouldn't we help them? It would go a long way towards the diplomatic relations that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wants."

Jenkins nodded. "We can provide logistical support... I'll tell the captains of the ships that we're splitting the fleet in half. Open a secure channel to the Allanean fleet."

This is Admiral Carl Jenkins of the Kahanistan Republic Navy. We wish to aid you in your efforts to free the Kravanians. We have limited assets in combat hardware, but we can provide supplies to your forces to enable them to fight in greater strength. We can provide 13 fast combat supply ships, 20 troop transports and five Arleigh Burke-class destroyers. The troop transports carry only logistical crews and no actual combat troops. We make this offer as a show of solidarity against the evils of fascism. Our forces should arrive in three days.

The other half of the fleet would give weapons and supplies to the Leafanistanis, but no Kahanistanian soldier would fight on the ground, as per the Leafanistanis' request. The destroyers would merely protect the supplies from those who tried to interdict them, and not fire the first shot.

Tightbeam broadcast of the United States Government to the Kahanistan military command

First, an utterly naked man, wearing nothing but a single falconer's glove, appears in front of the camera. He is well-built in every possible way, and so the sight is not particularly ugly – though to some who are unfamiliar with Allanean culture, it may be embarrassing – especially if the guy watching the broadcast on the other side is not, well, quite that well-built.

The man salutes the viewers, and speaks.

Good day. I am Grand-Admiral Cameron, commander of the Allanean navy, commander of all naval, army, and air forces in the Leafani theater. I recommend that your aid forces first make a stop in Liberty-City, where we can load them up with Allanean infantry. Is it possible to arrange a second-pronge assault on the Kravenites?

OOC: Kahanistan, can you get on AiM or another such messenger?
Kahanistan

Admiral Jenkins tried not to chuckle at the naked man on the viewscreen. "Very well, we will dock at Liberty City, Allanea. We can carry up to 32,000 infantry on 20 ships. We will provide your soldiers with logistics if you wish to attack McKagan, but we had no plans of an attack and were not expecting a two-front war."

The non-essential personnel from the 20 troop transports bound for Allanea boarded the other ships heading for Leafanistan, so the Allanea-bound fleet could carry as many Allaneans as possible. The fleet would arrive in Allanea in a week. The ships bound for Leafanistan would arrive in three days.

[OOC: You people should really read the thread first. I'm fighting the Capitol Police, too. I can understand the confusion, though, considering this is happening in two threads. I've been trying to get AMF to come do a Special Forces RP with me in assaulting the CP (after finding them.) If you guys STILL want to assault me you'll have to wait until I actually have time to do that.]

[Edit: Yeah, you're all going on the assumption that McKagan is just aiding the CP in taking over Leafanistan. Right now i'm about to go on a major offensive AGAINST the Capitol police. McKagan needs a reason to be in Leafanistan in the first place now, and I've found it in fighting the CP. After I do that, if I manage to win or deal a major blow to the CP, I might pull alot of soldiers out. We should just form a Special Forces coalition on that front. I have no will or time to fight a major world war right now.]

[OOC: No, Kraven invaded a small, isolated town in northern Leafanistan during the snowstorm. He took the people there for experiments and stuff, then once McKagan moved in to investigate (and the storm started clearing), he tacnuked the city and moved south to another small town. Somewhere south of Port Xi-an (the original town he took over) there is a giant, massively powerful radio tower. It's Kraven operated, et al. I just sent some Special Forces in and had a running firefight out of the area with a Kraven gunship. If you'll retract your declaration of war and stuff I'll make a post sending a message to Allanea requesting aid in attacking the CP in my next operation.]

1 - How do you know Kraven Forces are operating in Leafanistan, the Propaganda tower was set up, but never mentions any Kraven forces present.

2 - Why are people sending huge forces to fight 2 to 3 squads of Capitol Police?

3 - How do you know Kraven is here, As far as I am aware Mcgakan and Leafanistan have not made the Kraven Presence public knowledge (Correct me if I am Wrong)

4 - The Missile strike is acceptable, but 250? for one Radio Transmitter... a little over kill??

5 - The Only sensible Option for getting involved would be a Commando Strike Team... because at least then I stand a chance and can enjoy the RP as much as everyone else

[OOC: People, you should fucking wait for Leafanistan to get on to clear some of this up. He's been very clear about wanting to keep it "even" and doesn't want a bunch of massive people coming in all to do one thing. Alot of people who are signing up are breaking a key rule for the original RP (no more than 100,000 troops per person,) and everyone is assuming that Kraven has 80,000 troops. He doesn't. He has a few squads of capitol police. Another thing is that Leafanistan didn't intend for this to replace the main RP. This thread was meant to recruit a few more people to help the reformists in this. This isn't a Kraven hunt or an invasion of Leafanistan. The original RP had a nice setting to it and if everyone under the sun sends 500,000 troops to whipe out the Kraven menance it's soon going to be lost. Please, let Leafanistan comment on this whole thing.

Kraven, in the first post of this thread Leafanistan states the presence of what they THINK is the Kraven Corporation and that they THINK McKagan aided them. At the time of your broadcasts no one other than the people from the original thread were in the nation. Because of that they wouldn't have been able to capture the radio signature to track it back to the radio tower. McKagan has only commented that it wasn't aiding TKC.

My next big plan is to do a small scale amphibious operation of about 800 soldiers into Port Xi-an to head down towards Berkut and do a search and destroy for any Capitol Police they may find. It'll be a light mission and everyone will be mounted and able to escape back to the amphib in Xi-an - so expect heavy air support.

That's another thing. How many of you even have the MAPS for this RP?]

You are supposed to have observation fleets and send equipment and I will try to royally screw with all of you in that time.

I won't allow troops though. That is the only condition. I will apply IGNORE if you force troops. And firing missiles will end in an international incident. The Reformists in the South won't understand why you just blew up a perfectly good mountain with so many missiles.

I also want to pause the RP for a bit as I go for a few more interviews with colleges.

Parliamentary Bunker, Inner Leafanistan

"Ma'am Allanean missiles destroyed a mountain peak today. About 20 kilometres south of Xi'an Port. The one Kraven destroyed."

"Probably a response, this is getting serious. We need to a way to paralyze their naval fleets in our waters."

"Algae Tiberius can completely clog up ships..."

"But it is terribly dangerous, if it gets out of control..."

"Trust me."

"Fine, make it happen, stop McKagan and Willink fleets from moving around and a Parliamentary Order of Valor will be presented to you."

"Will do."

All around Leafanistan

Missile trains were given special "T-CHEMWAR" via mobile replishing trains. After it was finished they groaned to a halt. Their Strategic Ballistic Missiles exposed to the open air. The special T-CHEMWAR warheads contained micromunitions, each canister held 2 decalitres of contaminated water, loaded with Algae Tiberius, 20 of these canisters were inside each warhead.

Then they launched, the trains then proceded to mix themselves in with passenger trains and act natural. They quickly disappeared into the various trainyards around Leafanistan and many went underground into the nationwide subterrian rail system. Effectively they had disappeared.

15 missiles sailed into the air. 5 were targetted at the McKagan fleet, 5 were targetted at the Willink carrier that sat in the open ocean and the remainder were targetted at the only operational Naval Base in the Northern Territories, Port Stevens where the reserve fleets sat. When they reached at most a kilometre over the ship the warhead would breakup and release the canisters. Poisoning the water and showering the ships with Tiberium lifeforms.

OOC: I want you to stay, but not to land troops. Also you won't see anything. These things can travel up to Mach 9 and slow down to around Mach 2 in thicker atmo, suddenly their fleet will be covered in this green liquid. It won't harm people but their ships will get into a very sticky situation soon.

Port Stevens, Leafanistan

The launches were discovered and the fleet was being evacuated anyway, it was on route to Southern Leafanistan to join the 3rd, 5th, and 8th Fleets defending the orbital elevator. When intel came through it was Algae Tiberius , everyone paniced. Suddenly every ship in the area went full speed toward open sea to get at least 200km away then sail south.

The entire reserve fleet at Port Stevens was attempting to leave and as a last desperate attempt to outrun the missiles the submarine nets were fully retracted, the harbor exposed and the warships of the 10th-15th Reserve Fleets sailed away.

People ran inside as the missiles approached. SkyCapt ships were warned, the missiles were due in 2 hours.
McKagan
13-03-2006, 03:14
The McKagan fleet had, upon discovering anti-shipping missiles were being flown into the nation, fell back to a location that wasn't capable of being hit from naval artillery and wasn't in range of any missiles. Because of this, the only vessels even near to being hit was the few frigates who had left to head upwards towards the Willink intelligence vessel.

Illusion Class Frigates were highly effective at downing missiles, and thus only two of the missiles were able to get near the fleet. However, one of the missiles actually missed the ship, passing a few feet above its flight deck and crashing harmlessly into the ocean behind the vessel. The other missile, unfortunately, exploded right near an Illusion Class Vessel.

The vessel, and the water directly near it, was contaminated. Chemical sensors quickly identified the substance, and the vessel was locked down and headed into the deep ocean away from the vessel. In all actuality, it was a major success for the McKagan Central Intelligence Division. They hadn't been able to study the chemical that had made its presence in Leafanistan, until now. They quickly contracted the best genetic minds in McKagan out to find a means of fighting the plague.

[OOC: Leaf, I know you're going to hate this, but I made it very specific that the main McKagan fleet was being protected from a strike by a land based system. McKagan land forces are spreading out around the shoreline and artillery WILL fire on any threat in that zone. Now you've effectively given the MCID a full scale study zone, so expect a means of fighting the thing to appear sometime in the near future.]

OOC: Those are Strategic Missiles, Theatre Ballistic Missiles not Anti-shipping missiles, I know many ships now come with TBM protection. The T-CHEMWAR is a bit of a red herring. Technically you are studying a highly toxic and adaptive protist mutated with Tiberium. Take this as a combination of the N, B, and C of NBC warfare. It is radioactive, it is biological and forms interconnecting strands, and it produces corrosive chemicals and releases a neurotoxic gas. (I based this on the protists that cause Red Tide) I have no idea why you would have Algae Tiberius on file, it is a Biological threat, but probably would have set off radiation sensros and the Tiberium gas would have set off chemical sensors.

Its internals are toxic and attempts to create viruses to kill them failed as their proteins denatured inside the Algae. How they survive with such toxic cytoplasm is actually a mystery.

IC:

The disabled missiles fell to the ocean and their canisters broke open, poisoning the nearby water and soon a light green covering was over the ocean and a soft glow at night.

The McKagan ship's outer hull was being slowly damaged by the corrosive byproducts of the Algae Tiberius, the acids formed slowly ate at it while the Tiberium gas it released began to waft into the air.

The ship left a green trail and the powerful strands that made Algae Tiberius so dangerous were forming. They reached toward the powerplants trying to spread as much as possible, to take in as much sunlight as possible and bring forth a Tiberium future.

Tiberium has been spreading since the war has started. We believe the problem is contaminated missiles. We don't use deadly chemical weapons. We are afraid of retaliation. However, the missiles were taken from captured Navy submarines, there is a chance that the canisters of high explosive were devoured by Algae Tiberius.

An official inquiry has been launched into this and at the moment we have reports of at least 4 train quarentines. It appears our supplies have been filled with this pest.

If you do retaliate in a destructive manner exceeding that of this incident, we'll repay the favor 50 fold.

Army spies in Saharistan had been keeping an eye on McKagan military movements for a while. The Parliament always distrusted their allies and the remote solar camera on a nearby mountain just barely caught the picture of a KLA-60 taking off.

Burst RADAR installations along the coast and in the inner ranges were still active, along with their MDM-4 batteries. That night SmartFLAK killed 23 birds that had wandered close to the stations. A small blip was caught for a second but vanished.

The massive DARDIS computer registered it and began to analyze, it had linked it with images from Saharistan and set it to Level 9 priority, just the same level as McKagan blowing up a tiny, abandoned submarine in the northern sea.

The Willink vessel violated our territorial waters, that will be enforced, regardless of the condition of our nation. It was asked to leave via standard frequencies and no response. So we attacked it. Just like any other vessel entering our waters. Just like any other pirate.

Perhaps it is time to formalize diplomatic measures to seek an end to this conflict and to perhaps reach a compromise.

McKagan has been searching for a diplomatic sollution to this for the entierty of the war. We recommend the diplomatic conference be held in the most secure location in the theatre. That being aboard a McKagan aircraft carrier. We understand how some sides may not agree to this, but with the Capitol Police in the nation we cannot risk having forces standing still. Our aircraft carriers are more than capable of a diplomatic meeting - please advise.

There have been incidents recently overseas that have proven the insecurity of fleets out at sea. Would you mind me attending via sattelite hologram? My Minister of Economic Relations is the closest thing I have a diplomat here besides myself. Our forces will bring the holograph machine itself.

With High Father ill, I shall lead the talks but I wish it to be in an area where our cooperation and our true unity can really be expressed. The Parliament building in Concord, Leafanistan. Legally it is the only allowable place to meet under Leafanistani Common Law passed under the previous NLP government that any disputes over ownership or governence of any Leafanistani territory is to be handled in Parliament, in their official location of meeting.

The McKagan State Department heavily advises against having this convention in the continental Leafanistan region. The very presense of the Kraven Capitol Police makes it unsafe. Another possibility is a state owned McKagan Business Jet landing at a Leafanistani Airport and discreetly escorting everyone to Triesa, McKagan for the conference. I know this may be against common law in Leafanistan - but you're in the middle of a civil war. You can spare that for any chance of an open peace.

After a lengthy discussion with my counterpart on the other side of the conflict we have discovered that the wording of the law does say that any and all land disputes must be settled on the floor of Parliament with a subcommittee and the presense of the parties involved in the dispute. We have submitted this issue to our respective justice ministries in an attempt to find out what exactly to do. We understand this is a propaganda move but if we abandon the rule of law we abandon all sense of civility.

This is not as much a war as it is a territorial dispute. While this may seem insulting to those who have died that is what this conflict boils down to. Some of the territories want independence, others claim that High Father is in charge, others declare that the Parliament's current government is in charge. It is unfortunate, but we must follow through with the order of law.
