OOC: I have tried on several occasions to introduce my FT nation, but do to family probs, and unexpected power loss the first few failed. But the sky’s are clear and I can finally get one out. My thanks in advance to any that join, this one should be fun

IC:The Sanguine Class heavy crusier, and the four NERCO class explorer ships drifted silently around the dead planet. The planet Rigel XII was a desert world located on the edge of Union Empire Control space.

The planet itself was a death world, The Union had originally used the planet as a prison world. But a few months after a scientist from the Union itself took up residence.

About a month later the planet was declared off-limits and only those with proper clearance could even get within the same sector. But the convicts strangely enough, were still being sent to the planet.

Three months from then at exactly 12:47pm the 4 days ago, the Outpost within this sector lost contact with the planet. A basic deep space explorer patrol was sent to investigate.

It was obvious from orbit that a massive dust storm had kicked up making contact with the planet impossible. The patrol waited out the storm and once again attempted to make contact, onboard computers recorded that the transmission was sent successfully to the surface, but no reply came.

****Onboard the Sanguine Heavy Crusier Eternity’s End****

Captain Nicholi Romanov studied the onboard files of the planets recorded history, but a large amount was restricted far beyond his verification. The air was breathable, but the amount of dust inhaled in each breath was a serious problem.

He ran his toung of a pair of long sharp fangs, His plain skin tight black uniform was sparsely decorated. With nothing but bands showing rank, and a pair of black wings that symbolized top class graduation at the pilot school.

"Kaptain!" A young girl of about thirty turned to face him, the blue glow of the computer before her shined off her pale skin. She wore a plain brown latex uniform with bands marking her as a Lt. and a comms officer.

Her short black hair was gelled to the left side, and her ample chest was perfectly still with no sign of life.

"Kaptain, v sent another message to the planets surface. There vas no answer, vhat is your course of action?" She said, her voice hinting with a bit of lust.

"Thank you Zofia, that will be all" Nicholis voice was low, but not gravely it contained a supernatural softness associated with his race. He gave a heavy sigh and swallowed hard. "Contact Admiral Malak, tell him of the current situation"...

******Several hours later, Aboard the Royal Gunship Tazadania ******

"Admiral Malak sir, there is a incoming message sent from z Eternity’s End Shall I bring it up on the main monitor!?" Yelled a voice from somewhere aboard the massive deck.

"Negative!!" Roared the metallic voice of the Titan of a Admiral. He stood a full 11 feet tall, Smooth yet strong and flexible armor plateing encased over 80% of his massive form.

The skin that was visible was repulsive, huge discolored bulging mussels heaved with each breath. His skin was covered in coarse brown hair, though his skin was pale and death. His armored face was forged to resemble that of a feral dog.

He spun sending the tattered blood red cloak whisping out behind him, his clawed metallic feet clanged as he made his way over to his command chair. "Send the message to me, and watch your tone or you vill join the long list of officers that visted space vithout a Suit!!"

"yes sir, im sorry, here is the message sir."

Admiral Malak studied the detalied report before him, her slammed a metallic hand into the arm of the chair sending sparks shooting out. "Graaaagh!!!" he roared, his breathing becoming more ragged.

"Vat is it malak?" said a calm voice, a man stepped silently onto the deck. He wore a long black cloak, a pair of white gloves, and a emotionless white mask hid him from view.

"The situation is far vorse than ve thought it appears that z entire planet has gone silent."

"Vhat of the Project?" Asked the masked man.

"It is possible it have been komprimised.Ve must get a krew to the surface, but z Kaptain dose not have the proper supplies to equip more than two dozen troops." The massive Admirals voice seemed to half calmed slightly.

"Ve must get on the surface now, Ve have to see if z research center is still operational and give them aid." Said the masked man, his voice calm. "Is there any of our fleets in the area?"

"No, well there is one." He said, shaking his head. "Deep space explorer Krumpit is in z area, but he vill most likely complicate things."

The masked man nodded, understanding the admirals concern. This was a delicate situation, and was no place for a mad trigger happy...rat. "V...Very well, send verification for them to land on z planet, tell them to send a message threw the outpost to the surrounding systems. Hopefully one of out neighbors will be kind enough to aid us.."

"Very well." Malak wheezed "Officer send a message to z Eternity’s End!!!"

******Several more hours later, Aboard the Eternity’s End. Again******

"Kaptain, Z admiral has given us verification, and has sent a message to z surrounding systems for aid." Zofia smiled, almost proud of the Kaptains new power.

Nicholi sighed and stood. "Alright get two teams together, we will leave in a hour." It was obvious that he was tired.” I just hope that someone answers, sending a message into open space could end in more problems. Our great empire has few ally’s."

Onboard Deep Space Reconisance Station 1365B

Lieutenant Cromer stepped slowly into his office, if the tiny, sensor-crammed window room even counted as such. Plodding across the metal deck of his station, he noticed a blinking icon on his communications screen,

"Finnaly, something to do..." he remarked to himself.

Cromer took a seat in his small, simple metal rolling chair and pushed off the desk he was at at landed infront of the comms station. A little rapid button pushing and a password entered and he had the message, it read

Cromer had heard of the Union Empire in the naval academy before, they werem if he remembered, a nation on the fringe just outside of Imperial space. Made up of a whole pack of different species too, hard to know what your dealing with with that lot...

Cromer, as per naval guidelines, dispatched a short message to the nearest planetary command, who would send a second message to the Imperial Navy outpost on their planet, and they could either dispatch a fleet of their own, or carry on up the chain of command to the Segmentum fleets, who could dispatch entire Battlefleets to deal with the problem. He doubted this would be necessary however.

Office of Rear-Admiral Kadova, Naval Outpost 44357, one hour later

A short, stubby ensign ran into Kadovas office on the outpost, holding a tiny data pad, which he prompty handed over to the Rear-Admiral as he spoke,

"Sir, one of the nearby recon stations has reported the recival of a messgae from the Union Empire, here."

The man stepped back to let Kadova read,

Message: I have, exactly seventy-one miniutes ago, picked up a
message transmitted by a nearby Union Empire outpost for one of their
fringe sectors. It reads as follows;

<enclosed file>

I have deemed this of importance enough to show you, who has at your
disposal the resources enough to react.

When Kadova looked up he wore an expression of slight frustration, and slight releif.

"Life here was getting a little boring, was it not ensign?" Kadova looked back down at the message, skimming it a second time to make sure he did not miss anything, "Yes, alright ensign, order Captain Panslavok to ready his ships, I want him on the scene in a day at the least. Then order anyone you see left to ready my own ships, we will depart shortly, GO!"

The ensign, who had been nodding and making agreeable faces at whatever his commander said, ran back out of the room, gathering anyone if importance together and relaying Kadova's orders.

Onboard the Flames of Redemption, twelve hours later, moving into orbit of Union Empire penal world.

The massive Oberon Class Battleship jolted out of warp-space, hurling itself and its crew back into reality with a shock. Following it were the other ships of Patrol sub-fleet 45H-1, including four Exorcist Class Grand Cruisers, twelve Sword Class Frigates, and fifteen Falchion Class Escorts.

The commander if this force was Captain Panslavok, a fourty-three year old war veteran, who had spent considerable time out on the western fringe battling the xenos infiltration there four years ago. He had been in command of these ships for almost all of his proffesional career as an officer and knew the limits of every man onboard them. Although this new mission was veiwed by his as a slightly mundane mission for his own skill, he knew that there were reasons for everything and he should not grow over-confident.

His sensors officer tunred to him, "Sir, an F-Class planet on long-range sensors. I think we have a visual, you want it up on screen?"

The Captain gave a quick nod to the young man before turning back to the main screen, which now gave him a veiw of a medium-sized brownsih-gray planet with five foreign ships in orbit. These must be the Union Empire lads... he thought to himself.

"Provindk, bring us about to face that planet, put the fleet on course and get us there, half-speed." He turned, "Jovis, compose a little message, let those boys were coming and dont shoot us, quick!" Again he turned, "Gergio, ready third company marines, order them dressed and breifed on our situation."

Panslavok sat back in his seat, watching his obedient crew hustle around, completing their tasks...It made him proud to be a Captain for His fleet, this feeling was enforced further by the presence of the fleet Commissar, Dimiter, standing tall in his black greatcoat, next to his seat.

Command Deck of the Oberon Class Battleship, Flames of Redemption

As the thirty-one ships of the Patrol Sub-Fleet 45H-1 approahed the planet, as per the directions recived moments earlier, the captain composed a second message for the captain of the Union Empire cruiser,

To: Union Empire Fleet, Sanguine Class Cruiser
From: Captain Panslavok, Fires of Redemption
Subject: Lost World
Clearence: Blue-1
Message: We are but the advance force of a larger fleet, and with this
undeniable power at our disposal, we ask that we keep in reserve the idea
that if operations should turn, well, counter-productive on the surface, that
the planet can be neutralised. This may not have to affect the whole of the
surface, if you should so wish to continue operations elsewhere, but it is,
you must admit, a desierable backup plan.

Also, our first assault team is being readied, composing Third Company Storm
Troopers supported, if the need should arise, by their own armoured
compliment stored aboard our ships. We would ask, what is it that
you expect to encounter on the surface? It would be benificial that my
troops move in prepared.

As the message was sent the captain rose from his oversized chair, drawing himself up to his full height, reaching easily to the height of six and a half feet. He spoke in a slow, deep, uncompromising voice,

"Deploy Third Company!"

Launch bays of The Flames of Redemption, Third Company departure station
As the first of the drop pods detatched from the hull of the ship, carrying their cargo down to the surface of the deserted planet. In total there would be two-hundred men on the surface, divided into ten platoons of twenty men, each comprised of two squads of ten men, seven armed with standard issue Kantreal Hellguns and fragmentation grenades. Supporting them would be a single trooper operating a Plasma Gun and a second man with the primitive Heavy Stubber, honoured by the troopers in this situation for its stoping power.

After half an hour the whole of the launch bays were emptied, Third Company was now completly commited to the operation, as there was no way to recall them until a ship with sufficient carrier capacity to hold the Imperial Transports.

Having landed only a few miles east of the coordinates delivered to them, but knowing nothing of the inhabitants of the planet, company commander Simanka ordered that they remain where they were, spending their time instead constructing some basic fortifications, a basic trench system and a single central watch tower included.

They would wait here from a response from their allies in orbit.

"Send it to me." Nicholi replied, looking down at the small screen within the arm of his chair.

Nicholi read the message twice, then nodded grimly to himself, began to prepare his responce. "Zofia send me ze non encripted reports of ze planet."

"Yes Kaptain!"

Nicholi took several moments to read threw the files, they were as he thought, modified. Very basic information on the planets surface and terrain, all recourds of the amount of prisioners on the planet and the location of the prision itself had been erased from archive memory.

Message: I have added on several file attachments from our archives on the planet, though I must admit you could get more information by looking out your window.

<Files attached>

The planet is a Dessert world, the terrian is rocky but rich with meatal ores. Its Surface is scared with many cliffs, crags, and chasms, as well as several impact crators.

There is very little plant life, only a ediable high nutrien fungi that grows underground. There is no water on the surface, and the heat can reach tempratures of 145 dg F.

Dust storms are not uncommon and can sometimes nock out signals to orbit, but they useally die down in a few days. I have records show the panets ecosysteam is highly preditory, so avioding local wildlife would be advisable.

The Prision is not on recourd, but scout mecs report that our landing zone is a few miles east of a mineing outpost. If I had to guess I would say the Prision is in the cliffs to the east of that location.

*Message end*

"Zofia, send zhat message to the human vessel." Nicholi said, his voice sounding tired.

"Yes Kaptain!" she replyed. "Kaptain, ve have lost contact with scout Mec Beta-I-90, the signal died several miles north of the deployment zone. No Distress call was sent."

"Send a mesage to deploy a secound party of marines to its last known location."

"Yes Kaptain!" she said, turning to face her comm station. "Sir ze First Squad is ready, shall I order zhem out?"

"Negative" Nicholi said, standing. "I vill acompany zhem to ze surface."

"Kaptain..I.."

"I vill not debate zhis, you are in command of zhis opperation until my return."

"Yes...sir.." Zofia replyed,a small amount of worry in her voice. "Be safe my Kaptain, zhere are many reasons to return.."

***Moments Later Inside the Kaptains pod***

"All Right Kaptain ve are ready for deployment." The gruff male voice was herd threw a small speaker within the cramped drop pod. Nicholi along with four marines were fastened safley in there pod.

The Marines wore a solid red uniform, with Bits of smooth black armor over there upper bodies, elbows, forearms, and knees. They were all simaler in size, standing around five eight. The all had a stocky athletic build, and sat in silance.

There pale skin almost glowing in the white light of the pod, there eyes were all golden, there features sharp as if cut form diamond. When the voice sounded the raised there helmets off the floor. The slid them over there heads and clicked them into place, there was a small hiss then silance.

The helmet covered the entire head, offering a fair amount of protection. There eyes were hiden behind two orange optical lenses, that supported a basic hub technolagy, with auspex, a heart monitore, and a rebreather systeam.

There weapons were held in holster next to were they sat. Three had the standard assault rifle, a well rounded weapon, the last held a shotgun.

******In the Hangar******

There was a total of Seven pods ready, six held five marines, one sargent, two medics, one comm officer, three hackers, two demmoltion officers, one sniper, and twenty grunts.

The last pod held a Lycan support team, this pod was bigger do to the size of the creatures. It held a total of seven lycans, all armed with heavy weapons. A basic hunting pack.

"All Personal please clear ze area, and prepare for deployment." Zofia's voice echoed threw the hangar.

The crew scrambled off the deck exsiting threw a pair of heavy Iorn doors. The deck below the drop pods tubes opened, there was a hiss as any gasses traped in the tubes leaked out into the open space. The ship was now derectly over the deployment zone.

"Launch in..5..4..3..2.." The last number lost over the sound of the roaring engines. The pods were free, and began speeding toward the planet surface, they looked like small teardrops falling from the hevans.

***One again in the Kaptains pod***

Nicholi felt his stomach do a flip, as his bosy was forced up agianst the padded seat were he was sitting. He reached up and grabed the bar above his head and closed his eyes. The pressure pressing against him was so powerfull, it felt as if he was being sucked into a hoze.

A feeling of nasuea overcame him but he fought it off, the Pod began to tremble, they had entered the atmosphere. Then just as suddenly as it had began it stopped. The pod hit the sand with a soft thud, Nicholi lurched foreward, but was caught by the starps that held him to his seat.

He raised his hand to his head, as the sickness slowly began to fade. "Are you alright Kaptain?" said a young voice, it was one of the marines.

"Yes I am fine." he replyed, undoing the straps and grabbing his own assault rifle. "I had forgotten what that felt like." he said, smileing.

Several of the marines laughed.

"All right." he said, putting on his own helmet, then attaching a red cloth to the front of it. A sign of rank. "Lets get moveing, we can spend a moment plotting our location, then make our way to were the humans made camp..."

OCC: ill post a pic of the guys soon, im a bit pressed for time. The landed roughly around 300 feet shy of there deployment zone, Ill have them leave the pods them move to Pudus postion in my next post.

Zofia is command of the ship, she will handle all comms in orbit. The rp is still open so join up.

Surface of Union Empire Penal World, Third Company Deployment zone

Third Company Captain, a man by the name of Simanka, was coordinating the landing of the final platoons and support sections deployed to the surface with his unit. Third Company was a large force, numbering two-hundred and fifty individuals and ten vehicles all on the ground. Among these was Simanka's command platoon itself, his Commissar Predicha and a Psyker called Danilka, in addition to his four veteran attendants. Supporting the Captain directly were three Sentinel walker vehicles, two squads of missile launcher armed infantry, and a mortar team. Also among Third Company's roster was Sergeant Dmitrii Tarosov's squad of veterans, Captain Tarabarka, Agrippa, Ladyzhen, and Baklan's respective infantry platoons. Each platoon had three squads of ten Imperial Guardsmen, two with heavy bolters and one with a lascannon per individual platoon. Each platoon's commanding captain would be issued a Commissar. Although this Company's Commissar count was great, command believed it necessary after reviewing the locale and nature of the mission. These men went by the names of Amplii, Letsko, Radonezh, and Vogtekh, respectivly.

Supporting these platoons were the fifty conscript infantrymen of Commissar Ivanko's platoon and the ten men in each Sergeant Pakhola's and Kogotko's Armored Fist squads, each of which was carried by a Chimera class armored personnel carriers. The final arm of Third Company were the armored formations. One Hellhound class flame tank, two Leman Russ class main battle tanks, one Demolisher class heavy tank, and one Basilisk class self-propelled howitzer.

This force had already begun establishing it's defensive perimeter, supplemented by trench networks, barbed wire perimeters, prefabricated watch towers, and empaced heavy bolters. This company was preparing for a long stay.

The Emperor's Hammer, a Leviathan-class dreadnought, and a battlefleet all in itself, shimmered into existence near Rigel XII. Lights flickered on all over it's massive hull as power came back online from the jump through space and time, making the whole thing glow with a red, unearthly light. From the ship was launched several tactical frigates and troop carriers, looking like so many insects next to the horrible, ominous majesty of the dreadnought...

[OOC: Yeah, it seems pretty impressive and excessive force in this situation, but it's not going to see any action. It's just there to look intimidating. I'd make a larger post, but it is late and I must sleep.]

******On the surface of the world, the kaptains landing zone******

Nicholi stood on a small rock formation looking at the land streched out around him. The sky was light orange, the sand a dark rust color. From what he could see most of the plant was a rocky desert, though several moutian ranges seemed to lie out to the east.

Acourding to the maps he saw back on the ship, they were just south of a dried body of water, and those moutains most likley held the entrance to the prision.

"Sir, we have ploted our location, the humans are several miles to the east." one of the marines said, he was looking down at a small device in his hand, before rasing his masked head to lool at there kaptain.

"Very good Dimitri, lets get moveing." Nicholi replyed, hoping off of the rust colored rock on witch he was standing. "Have you linked up with the ship yet?"

"Negative sir, something is messing up our comm links."

"Keep trying, perhaps its all the rust in the air." Nicholi said, makeing his way back to the landing zone. "All right, lets get moveing."

The force of 36 troops and kaptain Nicholi set off at once to the location of the human ground forces. They moved with haste, stopping only once to try to link up with the main vessel, they were once again met with failure but the signal seemed to be stronger.

On there way they passed on of the massive Mech pods they had sent to the surface, before they arrived. The Mech was not there, but the number on the pod confirmed it did not belong to there missing Mech.

Roughly around a hour after they left there landing zone the human camp came into view, the slowed there pace to a walk, and moved into the open, so they had more than enough time to spot them.

They seemed to had assmebled a base of operations rather quickly, and Nicholi was momentarily shocked at how easly they had done so.

He could see several large metalic objects around and in there base. Nicholi guessed they were some form of war machine. "Dimitri try to find there channle tell them who we are." Nicholi said, his voice slightly distorted over the comm systeam inside the helmet.

"Aye sir!" Dimitri said, and motioned to one of the other marines.

This mans armor was much larger than the otheres, a large black box with several keys was meled onto his back, several diffrent sized Antenas rose out of its top. The man went down on a knee and conected a small black wire to the side of his helmet.

****Radio Message to Human troops***

This is Corpal Ivanovich, of the 42nd Nightwings. We are moveing in on your postion from the west, we will maintain communication until we reach you.

**Message end**

The Marine stood and noded at Nicholi and the squad once again began to make there way toward the humans base. The Thirty troops walked quickly, advanceing like a massice shadow across the desert.

The Seven large forms of the lycans walked behind them, still in there human skins. There well muscled bodys had begun to shine with sweat. There leader, a man named Kuthka was the largest, standing close to eight feet.

A large axe hung on his hip, and a exspermental force gun was slung over his shoulder, this weapon was becomeing more common in the Union as of late, though it had not yet been issued to all forces.

Four of the lycans were equiped with large gatlin guns, witch they held easly in there massive hands, a belt off amunition went from the weapon to a large pack on there backs. One of the otheres carried a large rocket launcherm, that looked like it could drop a transport with a single shot, the last had a large inferno clenser (flame thrower).

The Lone sniper was moveing around them, takeing point as the force moved foreward..

<--About 100 feet from the deployment zone-->

The troop carriers settled down onto the desert sand, their engines glassing the ground underneath. The fronts of the ships down into ramps, and the first troops stepped off. The legionaries wore the ornate, dull black carapace armor of the Imperial Legion, but the otherwise featureless armor was scrawled with dark red runic letters, each symbol an intricate design proclaiming the legionaries faith in the Emperor, and drawn in blood. Several figures wearing exoskeleton armor were among the Century, and even several Steel Legionnaries, state-of-the-art killing machines, were unloaded from the flying caskets that were the landers.

Legate Carnifex, the heartless and cruel commander of the Imperial 125th Legion, gave the order to move out, and radioed ahead to the other forces.

Surface of Union Empire Penal World, Third Company Deployment zone

Sergeant Tarosov's veteran squad had just received the news, their section had been selected to participate in a scouting action against a small settlement detected seven miles north of the Imperial LZ. Their orders were to perform preliminary reconnaissance and establish a map of the surrounding area before a larger force moved to capture the location. The squad would consist of the Sergeant, armed with a plasma pistol, bolter, and surveyor, a communications officer equipped with a vox-caster and lasgun, a plasma gunner equipped with his plasma gun, a grenade launcher operator, and six more squad members armed with lasguns.

This strategy would continue until a perimeter was established around the prison complex. Only then would their entry team go ahead, and fulfill the primary objective of the landing force. All that Sergeant Tarosov needed now was the initial mission briefing and go-ahead.

The Legate took a moment to send a short reply to the Third Company.

"Hah! This is a prison compound we are assaulting, not a heavily armed and entrenched enemy force with air support and artillery! The warriors of the Eternal Emperor will not wait much longer before I have to give the order to go ahead."

He gave the order to halt, and began setting up shelters and organizing perimeter patrols. The legionaries, being quite disciplined, didn't let their disappointment show... They had been expecting a good massacre, and hated being denied the chance to slaughter, the sole remaining purpose in their lives...

OOC: We dont know were the prision is, its location was delted from all Union empire files regarding the planet, also if there was a prision revolt someone would have got out a message instead of the entire planet going silent..dun dun dun!

The message sent by the human troops echoed over Dimitri's communicator. Nicholi nodded and quicked there pace, the lycans takeing on a slightly bent posture as they moved.

The Sniper however did not change his pace, he continued to move slowly around the squad, his large modle 7 Jackle held firmly in his hands. The mans name was Letev, and he was one of the few on the squad that had been in a commbat situation before.

Other than the lycans, who's savage culture weeded out the weak at a young age, this paticulare 'pack' came from Kerpak a savage world located on the western side of the empire.

"Are you sure we can trust them sir?" a gruff voice sounded over Nicholi's comm link.

Nicholi looked back to see the large bulky form of Valrious, the squad sargent. Valrious was a giant of a man, especially for vampire standards, witch tend to be around five eight. Valrious on the other hand was a massive six five, with a over all apperance of a brick wall, and in the full tatical gear of the Union empires marines he was one of the more intimidateing men Nicholi had ever met.

In his hands he held a old spas 12, a ancient human weapon, that he claimed was given to him by his father, and never let him down. It worked simaler to the Unions Scatter blasters.

"Our Empire is on good terms with these people." Nicholi replyed, feeling a little uneasy himself.

"These are not like the humans of our empire, they are a strange breed, treating technolagy like magic. They are very supersticious and tend to shoot anything that confuses them." Valarious whispered, witch was useless seeing the entire squad was linked over the same channle and could here the entire convorsation.

"Stop being so paraniod Sir." came the voice of Dimitri. "Im sure there ok, just a little slow." Dimitri furthered his point by makeing a rather comical impression of one who had been struck by a boulder at a young age.

"Paranoia keeps you alive.." said another voice, it was smooth and cold. Nicholi recoudnised it right away as Letevs.

"I agree with Dimitir." Nicholi chimed in. "They are diffrent, we shouldn't fear them."
*********************

Moments later the squad made there way into the human encamoment, the lycans came up on the rear, glareing at anyone who got to close. Only Letev was still outside, he compleatly refused to enter the camp, and decided he was better at running point around the camp.

Nicholi walked to the front, his read cloth marking him as a officer, the only other with cloth on there armor was Valriouse, but unlike Nicholi's it was a dull brown.

Nicholi waited patiently to speak with the leader of this group, his squad had fallen silently behind him, takeing on the apperance of a army of cyborgs, only the lycans spoke, whispereing quietly in there own guteral langauge, nodding at diffrent viechles, and personel, there faces showing a great deal of dislike.

Surface of Union Empire Penal World, Third Company Deployment zone

Captain Simanka was standing in a hastily set up command tent in a meeting with Captains Agrippa, Baklan, Ladyzhen, Tarabarka, Sergeant Tarosov, and Sergeants Pakhola and Kogotko. Standing behind them were the six commissars of the company, Predicha, Vogtekh, Amplii, Letsko, Radonezh, and Ivanko. Suddenly a messenger burst in, "Sirs, the foreign platoon has arrived, the officorial type in charge probably wants to see you."

Simanka stood up, making quick apologies for his abandonment of the discussion. "Good work son, where are they now?"

The messenger led Simanka out of the tent and over the Union Empire officer, the Captain nodded his head and greeted him, "Welcome, good sir, to our humble abode..." he said with his arm flourishing out behind him at his camp, "We hope your stay here will be as enjoyable as possible." His voice was very nearly drowning in sarcasm as he gestured at the camp again. "And now, without further ado, let us commence what business we have and be done with this place."

He turned and started walking for three or four feet before turning again, "Will any of you in a position to command please follow me, and we can begin the operational process."

He turned again and began walking back to the command tent, just assuming they would follow him.

Prison revolt or something else, they figure they can kill just about anything. Short posts, I'm sorry, until something happens.]

"Bah! These people are obvious inferior to our might. We will take all the glory for ourselves! Still, there is wisdom in being prudent. Send a reconnaissance party to check out that town..." The Legate was not renowned for his great patience.

OOC: Yeah, it'd be nice if you gave me a quick summary. I understand the backstory, but what happens after it gets kind of confusing...

OOC:

SPOLIER!!!

Alright the story is this, the Planet was at one point a penal world, and the union empire doesn’t have a lot of laws, so you can be sure anyone that is imprisoned is really bad.

Being a communist society we pay all our citizens the same wage, with bonus for military service etc. Most all of our working class is humans, so when a human dies we send an offer to their family.

If they wish we can hook up the body to a small machine and pump it with chemicals that will "bring it back." all this really dose is review the person enough so that basic motor function can once again be operational, messages and orders are sent Via computer.

If the family says yes to this they get a bonus on there pay, also the family still gets money as if the person was still working, everyone has this choice, everyone but prisoners, they are turned without any permission, it is part of there punishment.

This is what Rigel XII was for; it was a basic penal world were these operations were held. But several months ago Yuri (one of the high royal council, and also the head of the technology industry) bought the planet, he began a project witch could make 'zombies' using a cheaper means threw alchemy.

Yuri assigned a team of scientists to the north of the planet to start operations, and the location, history, and purpose of the planet were erased from the archives memory.

Not long after that another nation who had dealing with alchemy joined in the op. But the scientist the Union Empire became corrupted, hearing the voice of a demon he operated a massive transmutation circle killing a massive amount of the population and created a philosophers stone, an artifact of untold power.

The "zombies" on the planet went mad, and have begun to operate independently, when the scientist created the stone he opened a portal to the warp, all the surviving prisoners and personnel were possessed by demons…

There are few powers capable of manipulating the warp to such a massive degree as the Imperial Astropaths had felt. Even upon the hallowed sphere of Chronosia Prime, touched by the Gods themselves, it was felt. Some fell screaming to the floor in feral madness, others tore at the bandages surrounding their eyeless sockets. There was pain. There was madness. There was death, and those that survived, whispered that more would come.

Such things might terrify lesser men, but before such charnel power, the Emperor would not falter. Remiel let a smile cross his pale features, let his lips wrinkle in wry, almost dismissive amusement. In time he would come to know that which had transpired, he would taste of the power that had been unleashed. For now, he was content to wait, and to watch. A ship would be deployed, and his finest troops would be sent to observe.

His prescient vision tingling with anticipation, potential futures playing forth before his eyes, burning into his mind, he could hardly wait. It would begin slowly, gently. And then, it would come as a raging torrent. Power unlimited.

OOC: sorry I took so long, and the "demon" is not one of the chaos gods, it is acualy an ancient evil sprit that was trapped in the planet, its very powerful, and is acting threw the only liveing scientis who is a humunculi, the creature is a one of chaos however,i havent figured out what i want it to be yet. If you dont know what that is just ask. I guess ireland dropped out.

**In the Human camp***

Nicholi bowed, following the customs he was instructed in back in his days of training. Behind him one of the lycans grumbled in there feral tounge about the rudeness of the humans.

Nicholi made a motion with his had to calm them and followed the group of men. Next to him Valrious clutched his weapon, looking a bit paraniod, on Nicholi's other side stood a lycan, a man of massive size and age, his body covered in many scars, his face sprouted a heavy grey beard. He was quiet and was known only as 'Bear' his real name was never spoken.

The odd trio stepped inside the command tent, feeling out of place in the almost arcahic culture. Nicholi stood silently, awaiting an introduction.

OOC; Demons aren't gods, I had more hope for you than to assume it was a Chaos God, and I sense you have precious little knowledge or experience of me. I am Chaos knowledge incarnate.

A Homonculus, I assume you mean an artificial human ala FMA.

Surface of Union Empire Penal World, Third Company Deployment zone, Command Tent
When the Union Empire officers entered the large canvas tent it was empty, save for Captian Simanka, who sat in a relazed position in a large archaic wooden armchair behind a small steel table covered to the point of stress by various topographical maps and planetary charts that the company HQ had been able to retreive from the orbiting ships databanks.

As soon as the trio entered Simanka raised his feet and rested them on the small table,

"Welcome, welcome. Now, I hope I am correct in a assuming that you, being the owners of this mes-er... planet, may have a shade better intelligence than we may, correct?"

Simanka rased and dropped his feet on the table to bring attention to the charts and maps, which, although detailed in the extreame, were no doubt either out of date, of simply false.

OOC: I know who you are, also the way i described it it could have been seen as a voice (demon) of a paticulare chaos god. Not a god in itself but a servent (I guess I wasn't clear enough), witch it isn't. The main point was to say the "demon" is not a demon at all. Now don't get me wrong, there are a few demon like things on the planet, but nothing big, mostly lemures. And yes it is a FMA humunculi.

Sorry if im confuseing, i use a mix of D&D, White wolf, and 40k. So if something seems confuseing just ask.
