Recently, new president Pedro Sachez announced that his main goal in his presidency was too solidify the country's economy and eliminate crime. One of his first actions he states, will be to enact the "Industry Act", which will lower taxes by 50% on all Productive Industries that produce a gross revenue of over 100K every year. Also, A similar bill, the Commercial Act, will lower taxes by 25% on all Commercial business that earn an annual revenue of over 50K. He promises that this will be good for the economy. This is yet to be seen.

He also stated that more prisons are scheduled to be built and that the Death Sentence is to be re-instated after Pacifist Mike Balhin eliminated it in 2008. More is to be seen of the new leader, and many think that he is bound for greatness an Chile. Sadly, a new extremist Democratic group has formed, with a goal of Impeaching President Pedro, and accusing him of "Favoritism among Commercial and Industrial Establishments. Pedro Denied all accusations and said that the 2 new acts were not directed towards any business, as the 2 bills goal is to encourage Production and Business is Chile.

Chile is currently looking for Endorsement in the UN for use of Nuclear power. Bordering Countries such as Bolivia and Argentina Are Wary, as there has recently been a flux in Chile's Military size. With 3 new major Industrial Companies founded over the last month, The export Percentage has risen by 10% over last year, and Yesterday Chile was Officially under 10 Million Dollars for the First Time Ever.
President Sachez says that he is very proud of what we have avhieved so far, and now that the Economy is up and running again, its time to take some focus off of that. According to this year's Census, over 20% of the Population was below the Poverty Line. The President hopes to remedy this by Bringing Big Businesses to Small towns, and to incite them to do this, The Village Act Proclaims that All Industrial and Commercial business that move to a city of less than 50K population, they will receive a 25% Deduction to their Taxes. Many question this policy, as for some industries the tax deduction is as high as 75%! This economic Reform is going well, but the Conclusion Of Sachez's Presidency has only 2 years (2 days in RL). American Economists predict a crash in the Near Future.

OOC: Please, please be realistic...export rising by 200% in a year, out of debt in a year exc. As much as I wish we could, you can not make things up, there has to be reform, you have to work towards your goal, if Chile could just suddenly do this is real life don't you think they would have already? Do some research and put some effort into this game, please.

Did I put 200%???? That is crazy. But I realized that chile was Not in much debt at all, and the taxes are like a reform, encouraging industry. I think it could happen but the 200% is a typo.

Today at 3:15 a.m. Chile's Stock crashed after one of the Major Industries dustries (Chile Inc.) Skipped Seven Tax Payments By 100%. As this was the largest Industry in Chile, and had Millions of Investors, Most of the Population above the Poverty Line, 60% of Population, has fallen into Millions of Dollars of Debt. The President has refused to comment. Because of this, A Military Coup De Etat has started. Currently we are in contact via radio with General Vinto, leader of the Rebellion.

"It is the President's fault this (The Crash) has happened. Although it was good for our country for a little while, it was bound to crash", he says.

The Presidents Guards are currently trying to hold the General's Forces out of the White house, but there is a breach in the Eastern wall and The President is currently being held hostage.

A resistance has already started in the Andes, and the Rumored Leader, El Juan, Is gathering a force as we speak.

More is to be seen from this occurence.

The new Argentine Republic recognises its neighbor Chile, but does not support its policies in Capital Punishment and allowing businesses to be supported so much more than needed by the state. Argentina does not mean to have any bad relationships with Chile, but we will not support the government in any situation,
