We, The Liberal Democratic Republic of Brydog have decided to recreate the famous International Brigades. This will be a all nationality unit to defend democracy. We ask that the democratic nations of the world send forces to serve in this unit that shall be send to aid nations threaten by the oppressive reigmes of the world.

OOC - I'm out of the loop. What anti-democracy stuff?

OOC: Some nations have began to say that dicatorships are better. A bunch formed a Anti-Democracy group called the Four Horsemen or something like that.

The Nation Of Defuniak Is Currently under a reform ending the terrible Despotism that had gripped it for years, and the change is happening. But Defuniak will Gladly Spare 1 Brigade of Armor, and another 3 Brigades of Infantry. Also, we will send 20 Hawk Air Superiority Fighters for air support and 5 Specter Strategic Bombers for well... Strategic Bombing. All these Forces will be under command of General Vaklu, who will take orders only form
the President of Defuniak and Now, The President of Brydog. This is the Kuat Division, Ready to serve Democracy.

OOC: My nation has a very large military budget, and no military. I would be willing to get a very large, well armed force together to aid in the fight, but only if you would like. btw, I banned elections in my country and I feel bad about that. Fighting for democracy will help me make what I did right.

5,900 Madnestis, in exile from their country due to their political standing that is against the rule of Father of The Nation, The Minister of Everything, Warchief Tamujid (and thus under death sentence in their home country) have announced their willingness to join this noble cause of Battle for Democracy. They, like all Madnestian citizens over 15 years old, have served ni the military and few are even officers. They come for all around the region of Athiest Heaven and require arming and support from some actual military force, as they are naturally unarmed and not yet fully organized. The name of their "brigade", that currently has nothing but the volunteers, is "Legion Durruti".

RE: International Brigades

It has come to the attention of the Ministry of Defense and King Alexander I that Brydog is concerned with forming volunteer military units to defend democratic ideals around the world. As the Grand Monarchy has recently come out of a Civil War that sought to crush the ideals of democracy in this country, the defence of this ideal is close to this administrations heart. Thus, the Grand Monarchy places at the disposal of the Pro-Democratic Forces Six International Volunteer Brigades. These six Brigades comprise of some eighteen thousand recruits, all either ex-military or pro-democratic volunteers. All have been given extensive military training by the Republican armed forces, and come equipped with modern quipment and logistical supplies.

The attached list details the Brigade Numbers and details:

1st Brigade: 3,000 personnel, 180 Champion L4A2 MBTs and 100 Cavalier IFVs
2nd Brigade: 3,000 personnel, 180 Champion L4A2 MBTs and 100 Cavalier IFVs
3rd Brigade: 3,000 personnel, 180 Champion L4A2 MBTs and 100 Cavalier IFVs

All Brigades are supported by attached heavy artillery, sapper and engineer units, as well as attached air support units that operate alongside each Brigade. These units will operate under the control of Major-General Timothy Yarmouth, Republican Marines (Ret.) and his subordinates commanding each Brigade. Although these units are supported by equipment of the Grand Monarchy, they are in no way associated with the Grand Monarchy, being volunteer units. All three Brigades will operate under the name 'Freedom Brigades'

The Neo Federation of Spartanox would like to send a naval fleet for this purpose. This special naval fleet (Spartanox Brigade Fleet) will consists of:

The pro-democracy Bonstocknian government would like to contribute forces to the democratic cause. The force on standby will be the elite 1st Brigade, 6th Airborne Division, paired with the Air Force 249th Composite Wing and the FRBS Midlands carrier battle group. The total is approximately 20,000 personnel.

When news of this pro-democratic force reached our borders the people mobilized to support the cause. A column of 500 Leopord Main Battle Tanks as well as 15,000Clansmen are ready to march with the Brigades. The force is commanded by Chief Gordon McNiven and is known as the Kropotkin column.

News of this spread and the People's Republic of Ebfan2's Parliament voted 241-9 in favor of joining this Brigade of Democracy. A referendum was then called and then the people were called to a emergency vote of which the public voted in favor 86% to 14%. We shall supply:

We have 16 million people plus under conscription. This includes non-military conscription. Our regular military doesn't pay for all of this so we are sending some of our non-military service.

400 Military Engineers -- Bridges, Tunnels, Bases, etc.

These people will build hospitals and bases for the incoming brigade troops.

While the Four Horses Group appears to have gone, I am sure the nations ivolved will pop up in a few hotspots before too long, I think we should keep the Brigades together for the time being, also my nation has first-rate military training facilities so if the Brigades would like to go on a rotating scheduel I'm sure they can train along with the rest of our forces.

The Third Republic of Velossia would be more than happy to contribute to this force, fighting for Democracy, a value all Velossians stand for.

Here is a short description of the forces we are willing to contribute.

These troops will be lead by Rear Admiral Viktor Kazinskiy. This battalion, under the Defence Ministry's order, will be named the Democratic Defence Task Force (DDTF).

OOC: Like I said, the group of mine, "Legion Durruti", doesn't have the support of Madnestian Government. They are refugees living outside of the country. That's why they can't for a brigade completely on their own. The representative of them just made an announcement that they can offer themselves for this brave cause, but they need help and equipment to become a working unit. Perhaps Brydog, as a founding member, would take them under his wings? I can make a IC post about this request you want, but I thought it would be clearer to say Out Of Character.
