Okay, so I am a bit of a noob around here. However I would like to go future tech. Now I would like to do my intro a bit differently. What I would like to do is start an intro thread with not one new country, but two. They would both by some incredible coincidence get to space at the same time.

So what do I need someone who would like to go future tech at the same time as me. We could pound out a joint history and how we got to the point were we can get really out into the galaxy. If anyone is interested TG me.

How is your nation organised(Democracy, Monarchy ect)?

For example, my tech core is Stargate based. However, some do use custom tech , Star Trek tech, Star Wars tech, Warhammer tech, Farscape tech, Dune tech, et cetera.

Initally it will be custom, however if someone cuts me a deal to get me ships for cheap then I can start to move that way, I would prefer Star Wars if I do that though.

nah just as long as you want to make on future tech, I can play with my history to explain my smaller population.

Well, both nations have been working as allies, they have been using radio back and forth for about 80 years or so. When travel within the solar system started they became close allies. Togther they work on a hyperdrive program, and we start at the break through, creation of a working hyperdrive.

Human Based yeah, I am going to burrow a few ideas from Advent Rising
Psioncis, yeah I am using a bit of Advent Rising for a reason buddy;)

Never heard of Advent Rising personally, but as long as you know how you want it to go, it's all good.
