Vespeterium Minor

For the past seven years, the Empire of Vespeterium Minor has been torn in two by a vicious civil war. Paulo Von Gerrit, the half mad Chancellor, Dictator and self proclaimed God of the Aroborian species has been killed by his own generals leaving the forces of his brother and enemy to march on the Silver Tower in the centre of the City State of Vespeterium Minor, the the rich hub of an instellar empire. While at war with Paulo, Reein (his brother) attracted many allies from within the empire with aspirations of freedom, equality and hope. But old habits die hard. The Arborians, 8 foot tall spider like creatures, have ruled an empire for almost 3000 years with concepts such as mercy, freedom and tolerance of dissent unknown to them. All of those that failed to pay homage to the new leader have been killed.
Reein Axes Sovo Vespeterium has now taken up power in the centre of the state, and has even claimed the antiquated title of 'Emperor' unused in some 1000 years. His first speech from the Silver Tower, marks another new chapter in Arborian history.
My friends and subjects. For these past seven years, the Arborian race has plunged itslef into the darkness and hatred of civil war. Brother has killed brother as the bloodlust reigned over our species. Now, we finally have peace. But what to do with this peace, you may ask? A state, and empire, is only as great as the stability and confidence it enjoys in its own ability. We have not enjoyed this in quite some time. It is time to reclaim this. For the past 1000 years, we have recorded our history in the fifth age of the Arborian archives. The Age of the Chancellors it has been called. As from today, that age is at an end. The architects of our history have been consulted, and from today, we shall enter the Sixth Age of the Arborian archives. We have now entered the age, of the Third Empire! I have been crowned Emperor of the Arborian race and of the City State of Vespeterium Minor. All dissenters will be hunted down and destroyed. We will enter a new period when men will look to the stars, and fear us!
OOC: The purpose of this thread is just for comments or such and such being posted to do with VM or the new empire, restablish ties or form alliances and s**t. Just for consulting sakes, I'm listing my military capability too.
Armed Forces: 1 million drones: These are the foot soldiers of the empire, they are weak, stupid and slow but very loyal. They are mostly used to occupy throughout the empire.
200,000 Arborian Footsoldiers: These are better than the drones, but still not great.
50,000 Mercanaries: Mainly humans. Well trained, vicious, but loyalty depends on trade. Can't really be trusted in a tricky situation.
27,000 Plasma Artillery: Manned by worker drones. Fires plasma over distances.
10,000 Heavy Drones: Strong iron giants with heavy armour.
5000 Vendetta Tanks: Strong military tanks. Manned by Arborians.
Fleet: 50,000 Drone Fighters: AI controlled jets. They can't fly far and are quite weak. But they're cheap and easy to mass produce.
20,000 Battle Arrows: Superior to the drone fighters in fire power and ability, but not great.
15,000 Battle Bombers: They bomb stuff. Obviously.
8000 Vespeterium Class Ships: They can fight within planetary atmosphere and in space. Oooooo, impressive
1000 Frigates: Large heavy ships. Good firepower, not great armour.
1000 Transports: Since most ships can't fly billions upon billions of miles solo, these ships have to cart the fleets around. They can dock up to 8000 small ships.
100 Destoryers: The ultimate ships in the Vespeterium fleet. Strong armour and storng firepower. Very expensive, takes ages to build, can't be mass produced and takes ages to repair if damaged.
50 Capital Ships: Brilliant armour, no forepower. It is for bringing in the battlefiled commander to survey how the war is going.
