The Itizni Palace,
Holy Moon of Itizni

The Game was entering its later stages. Niscosar smiled, walking through the massive board, noticing the way the Apex before him Played. The man was good, he had deployed Several Cards well, and the first Board has been his. But the Second Board he had been hit by an unsuspected strike, and what could have been a brilliant victory had turned to a tragic defeat.

Now they played the last Board, the Board of Divination. The Battle stretched right across the board, and Niscosar had been keeping an eye on his enemy’s movements. Niscosar looked sadly at the board before him. It was over. One fault in his Adversaries Line, One tiny disadvantage, and Niscosar had won. He played the final move, taking other pieces to their doom to give the man a thought of security before he struck to the heart.

-Its finished then- Niscosar said, looking at the face of the High Star Marshal. The Apex had a look of defeat on his face, he was searching through his cards, trying to find some form of weapon to use against him. But it would be useless. There was no way to salvage a victory.

“You Played Well Iraian.” Niscosar said across the board. The Apex looked up, and nodded.

“Thank you Emperor” he said, bowing onto one knee and withdrawing from the game. There was no point to continue, and the Apex had wisely chosen to surrender. The two nodded to each other, and both headed towards the Exit.

Niscosar walked with a steep grace. The Soon to be Emperor was a handsome Apex, tall, about the height of a human, his Bipedal form moved forward. He had a vaguely human face, which was flat, the nose two slits that almost met at a point between his eyes. His mouth had small lips, and the skin across his face was tight and drawn, very little cheek fat. From his head, the almost feathery hair extended down his back, about mid back length. Adorning his shoulders, the two clear wings hung, going to about his Knee level.

As he exited the Board of Divination, the roar of the crowds was deafening. He smiled, waving at them. On the other end of the hall, sat the Throne of Coronation. This throne would only be used at the end of the Games, to crown the winner. He smiled, walking forward, as Guards began to move towards him. As he reached the Throne, the Uinar Stood, holding the Crown in his hands. He gestured towards the seat, at the point Niscosar sat.

And when he did, the room went silent. The roar that had been there a moment before now stood only the chanting of the Priests.

“Niscosar Ix Desio” the Uinar said, his voice echoing across the hall. “You have won the Game of Itizni, your victory has proclaimed you the position of Itizniar, Emperor of The Itizni Empire, Master of Life!” the Roar returned, and for several seconds the Uinar let the cheering continue, before holding him the crown in both Hands. “I Hereby Crown you, Itizniar Niscosar Ix Desio. You will hold this position unless you are beaten in the Game of Life before your death. Your position conforms you total authority to do as you please.”

Niscosar’s smile broadened, he stood and held his arms up into the air to quite the roaring crowds.

“My Friends! My Friends!” His voice roared out, going through the speakers. “I have taken the Position of Emperor of our Glorious Empire. I promise in my Reign I will strive to recreate the Glory of Old! Many of us are still shaken by the Horror that our last Emperor committed, but now, now we shall strive to take back our glorious position, Amongst the Stars!”

The roar that came was…titanic, it drowned out all other sound, nothing would be heard over their cheers. The Emperor Smiled, and turned. The Throne of Coronation had sunk below the ground, and there stood a door. Which the Newly crowned Emperor moved through.

The Emperor burst through the doors, before him, the Star Marshals stood. They looked relived, to now have someone sane on the throne. So many years of Isosar had caused them to worry about the Mans son, to doubt his ability, but they had seen him play, he moved with cool stratergy, not with the insane fury his father had.

“Be honest Gentleman, what position has my father left us in?” Niscosar said as he entered the room.

“Lord Itiz…” Star Marshal Imiza Began, but was cut off by the Emperor.

“First things, you are the most trusted people in the Empire. You all are good friends of mine as well. You may call me by My name.”

“Niscosar” High Marshal Iraian said soothingly. “We lost a lot under your father. His Purge, which was so quick we could not stop him, caused us to loose most of our Forces, most of our population. At present, we have just over Five Million Citizens, and More then a third of the nation is male.” He shuddered. “What was your father thinking exactly?”

“He wasn’t.” Niscosar said bluntly. “He was an Insane male who wished the males to rule. He failed, and we will strive to keep the others where they belong.” He looked at them. “remember gentlemen, we are the Strongest, the Males are violent, they are warmongering fools, the Females…they are to soft, they could never hold together the Empire. We, Apex’s, define the mix between the two.” He smiled. “First things, we need to kill off some of the males, I want an expansion, hit worlds that will kill our men, but not that will put up resistance to damage us.” He smiled. “My Fathers Rule is over, and I will keep true to my promise, this Empire will be everything it once was, Lets begin creating it.”

((OOC: basic involvment at this time would be noting our expansion along the boarders. You could be appearing in a system we are in the process of Subgating, ect. Be inventive in how you involve yourselfs))

OOC: Just to note, this planet most definitely isn't your homeworld, it's just a random little world near you.

Araia stood up. After receiving her first command, she'd taken the ship, and headed out to a small system. She only commanded a frigate, but it was her duty to subjugate the planet, subdue any natives, and create a New Realm base there. It was a relatively simple task; kill all the natives, set up communications equipment, and wait for the expected troops to arrive. She also had a defense satellite, the size of a fighter, prepped for drop. That would secure the system from any primitive weaponry the natives might have.

From their sensor readings, the planet had only basic sentient life, and was rife to be destroyed. It was on the very edge of known space. She activated the sensors, and noted three congregations of lifeforms. She fired her kinetic harpoons, rods of heat-resistant metal which impacted with great force on the surface, over sixty of them, in one location.

Within seconds, the surface erupted in flame, and the first gathering was gone. She guided the ship into Truespace, left it on the other side of the planet, and fired harpoons again. The second gathering was devastated. She then fired a single bio-wipe at the last gathering, the smallest one. The bio-wipe would dissolve the organic matter, making a perfect sterile enviroment for the new base.

A flash of blue was shown, and the last gathering was destroyed. Perfect. She would begin to set up the base immediately..
