I was just playing the game and wondered if anyone would be interested in attempting to roleplay it's storyline?
From Kharak to Higaara?
If you don't know what I mean I'll see if I can find a wiki document containing the text. The manual for that game rocked so much. The history was rich and the story was incredible - it was only let down by the technology of the time, sadly.
Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

Found one. God Wiki's good. But not good enough.
The Manual gives complete historical reference to everything within this summary. And it makes it fun to read too :P
"The Kushan people lived on a planet called Kharak, a desert world so inhospitable that only the polar regions were settled. They are a tribal society, organized primarily into independent sociopolitical entities called Kiithid (singular kiith), each of which embodies unique religious and cultural traits. For the great majority of Kharak's past, there was war between at least two kiithid at a time.
Kharak's extremely inhospitable climate eventually led many Kushan to question how they evolved on it in the first place, and genetic studies eventually proved that they hadn't. The question of where they did come from was answered by a malfunctioning satellite, which detected metal in the vast, inhospitable reaches of the equatorial deserts. An expedition sent to the site discovered a huge alien ship, the Khar-Toba (First City). Within the Khar-Toba was found an artifact that would change Kushan life forever: an artificially-created stone, etched with a crude galactic map. A dot on a spiral arm clearly represented Kharak; a line connected this dot to another on the inner rim, a dot labeled with a word so ancient that it predated the kiithid themselves:
Hiigara. "Home."
All but the most radical Kiithid eventually united toward the goal of reaching their true homeworld and discovering the reasons behind their departure. No one on Kharak could decide just what the journey would entail, so the decision was made to construct a ship that could handle anything. The resulting vessel, known only as The Mothership, 3.4 kilometers long on its largest dimension, required 60 years to build, huge advances in science and engineering, and every resource Kharak could muster.
600,000 colonists were frozen in cryogenic sleep for the journey, and stored in trays for stowage once the Mothership was completed.
New advances in particle physics allowed an internal construction bay that could build starship hulls and materials from asteroids mined by use of intensely powerful dissemination beams, mounted on 200 metre long ships called Resource Collectors. They would travel about the Mothership and harvest any local resources.
The bridge crew would be staffed day and night by the best tacticians, navigators, diplomats and scientists Kharak had to offer, however, the logistics began to climb into the thousands.
No singular command chain could work, and no large crew would be able to easily coordinate in a dangerous situation, and this almost killed the project.
No computing system yet made could even approach the capabilities required to field the massive data influx. But the answer stemmed from such a field - A young biotech neurosurgeon, Karan Sjet, had herself grafted directly into the Mothership's giant Datashunt - In effect, turning herself into the Mothership's living CPU. Where many failed, she managed. She could filter all the data and deliver concise information for Fleet Intelligence - a think-tank aimed at interpreting the data Karan provided and in turn delivering orders to all Fleet Assets."
I'm wondering if we could roleplay from when the game starts? With the launching of the mothership?

Anyway, I thought it'd be from individual character's viewpoints - Scientists, Marines, Tactical, Pilots, and such. Crew aboard the Mothership and its other vessels - They'd probably be divided into Kiith. All I can remember is that Kiith Sjet is generally the Science oriented Kiith, Nabaal is the command structure, Manaan are generally test pilots and such, and that Soban are mercenaries for hire, so they'd be Marines, I suppose.
Again, please, anyone, provide ideas and input?

Cool. Could I join as maybe a pilot? What will we find there?
