I guess me and you are the only players that will be part of this conference.

I have a few things i would like to say:

1. I ask the Empire of Egypt if I may use the Suez Canal, so i can support my Mediterrian allies.

2. I feel the Arabic nations need to present a strong united front so that the rest of the world doesn't push us around.

3. I suggest we use our vast oil resource to make deals and powerful friends.

This I have for now I will be back tommorrow to see what you have to say.

The Kingdom of Egypt firmly believes that Turkey is becoming a menance to Pan-Arab affairs, as their army is currently in semi-formal support of the rebels in Iraq. Egypt recently sent an expeditionary force to help quell the revolt, while the regent king Faisal II remains in Cairo. We urge the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to give support to King Faisal II of Iraq in helping Iraqi forces defeat the insurgency.

On a note of the other topics, it is very important that we as Arabic states maintain our sovereignty, apart from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and all of those other powers currently fighting the war in Europe. With all of the Arab states in solidarity, we can defeat the imperialist desires of the European powers [including the Turks, of whom we feel are pursuing expansionist ploys in order to re-establish their losst Ottoman Empire]. In joining our military and economic forces together in solidarity, we can achieve great results.

Among the first things that we can secure are exclusive trade rights with the other. Egypt grants the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia full and unrestricted access to the Suez Canal [we will control the locks and the ports].

If there are any other things that we can agree upon, let us affirm these; otherwise, we should continue to pursue absolutely beneficial and amiable relations with the other.

First of all, I would like to thank Egypt for allowing me the use of the Suez Canal.

About the situtation with Turkey, I am afaird I must stay netural and I can only offer troops for peace-keeping. I have a previous deal with turkey to train my soldiers, which creates a conflict of interest for me.

I have a final idea what if we invade Iran, so it is not swept up by any other nations and will give us even more power in the region

Then let us agree to remain neutral over Turkey then, since they are legitimate Arab powers.

As for Iran, we wouldn't mind seeing Iran in the Conference. Perhaps we should do the favor and save Iran from the rest of the world. [If this involves a military attack, we would not support it...but anything else would be fine in Egypt's book]

OOC: 740,000 is the number of troops recruited, many still needed to be trained and whatnot.
IC: the GTR is commited to helping the oppressed Iraqi people, and since Kurdistan has been officially annexed, then all kurdish rebels are technically Turkish soldiers, and many rebels have requested citizenship as well.

In this declaration to Egypt, the Turkish leader has officially claimed the territory of a fellow Arabic nation!

HM Farouk I, while reluctant to wage war on Turkey for this act, is inclined to give aid to HM Faisal II, as HM Farouk I considers his acquaitance with the Iraqi monarchy to be close and most valued.

We urge HM Ibn Saud to show support for the Arabs, while HM need not retract his relations to Turkey.

Saudi Arabia remains netural in this matter for now. Turkey is its own nation and is doing what its believes is best and so are you. Neither has done anything to offend me.

Watch this for my happenings http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=10507060#post10507060

We support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in their desire to remain neutral.

HM Farouk is considering closing the Suez Canal to Turkish ships, although he has not finalized his decision...
