The Moral Alliance

When the Coalition Against Religious Extremism (CARE) was established the Trinity Empire immiedately condemned it for it wonders were one should not wonder. At first, we did not believe this 'alliance' dangerious enough for the Meritocracy to forge a counter-attack to defend against. Primarily because for just a moment we thought the McKagan Government was responsible enough to properly allow certain membership into the 'alliance'. Though with them permitting nations, empires, and countries which openly say they believe religion should be stamped out, Jagada can no longer sit in humble apathy about this organization.

During Jagada's youthful years, when he first made our presence known to the 'World Stage', we were apart of an old alliance known as the 'Moral Alliance' forged by Sidestreamer, and then countered by the Secular Nations Unions (SNU). The Old Moral Alliance was intend an extremeist alliance, which openly called for the forciful spread of Christianity. I am here today, as former co-founder of that alliance, to reestablish it under new policies. I would like it to be noted, that this alliance was only reestablished to ensure that the C.A.R.E alliance does not simply go around stamping out every religious theocracy which gets too rowdy.

All religions are welcome to join this Moral Alliance, but nations that join also regonize that by joining you are condemning Militant Athiesm, Religious Terrorism (done under the wrong situtation), and against Oppression of Religion. It is also to note that this alliance welcomes Secular Nations too, we seek only to protect religious nations, both from over-zealous religious nations and militant athiest nations--usually Communist countries.

If I can get enough countries willing to join this alliance, than I shall immiedately begin work a formally established 'Doctrine of Operations' for this alliance.

That is why I, Lord Protector York of the Trinity Empire of Jagada, write to you, the Empires, Democracies, Dictatorships, Republics, and Nations of the World and I call upon you to stand against the public Militant Atheist regimes who would seek to stamp our religion and prop up a Humanistic World.

You can contact Secretary Houston Watkins for membership into this organization. I wish you all the best, and may God bless you.

Signed,
Lord Protector York

Lord York,

With all due respect, CARE is not seeking to stamp out religious freedom. Indeed, CARE seeks to protect those who wish to worship in peace and security from those who hold an extreme view of religious duty. I would imagine that any "religious" group that avows violence as the means to spread their message should be considered nothing less than a bunch of criminals. And criminals should be stopped before they can hurt others.

A group that believes that a "holy war" is the way to please God needs to be stopped, for there is nothing holy about war. Indeed, the two words are a contradiction in terms.

What may be extreme to you or I may be normal to someone else. As long as the "extremism" hurts no one, we could care less what anybody believes.

CARE simply stands ready to act when religious fervor becomes physically dangerous.

The Bible states " Come, let us reason together.......". I think that this would be an excellent idea.

respectfully,

Mr. Mencious Merton,

Prehaps I was a bit vague and harsh towards C.A.R.E. This alliance is more than that, this alliance is between religious nations who live in a very liberals and very anti-religious world. Since I assume you're not a government offical, and just a monk, I doubt me telling you any of this will do much to change any unoffical stance your government already has towards this organization. If you want, I would ask that you convince your government to take positive stance towards this. A religious alliance is probably better than an alliance which attempts to stamp out religious extremism.

Secretary Watkins,

While I am not a "governmental official" in the usual sense, I am the head of my nation, and I have the full backing of the Emperor of Xeraph. As I was trying to get across to you, CARE is not looking to "stamp out" religious zealots. CARE simply is acting as a reactant entity against those who choose to use violence to extend their religious points of view. An example of this would be any type of radical militant fanatics who think nothing of strapping bombs to themselves with the resultant death toll, or the cowards who hide/shield themselves behind women and children, whose HQ's are in and around hospitals and orphanages.

Let me make myself perfectly clear: ANY body of believers in ANY type of spiritual community that uses repression, terror, and force against those who do not adhere to their beliefs will be dealt with by at least one member of CARE, that member being Xeraph. The Emperor's stance is that the offending group will be dealt with by the nation in which it resides, or CARE will do it for them.
