"Nations of the treaty!" Mussolini declared,” For to long the ever present alliance of France and Britain
have forced our countries to always bend to heir un-measurable navies and armies. They have embarrassed
us, invaded us at some times," inclines his head towards the Turkey and Spanish representives, "now they will know how it feels
to be shut down. We will stand strong in the face of aggression which has cost us so much. For example,
where was their ideas of freedom and prosperity when they ripped apart countries, formed new ones, and
leveled debt on others. They say that the Great War was fault of other countries, I tell you today! The only
people at fault are those so willing to condemn others in the name of righteousness.
We will bring real prosperity, real happiness, and real law to this new world order!" Benito
Mussolini, looking very pleased with himself, walks off the stage to applause.
The pan-Mediterranean Treaty is composed to thwart English/French influences within and sometimes
outside the Mediterranean Sea. The guidelines are simple, straight-forward, and aggressive.
The first is that any nation attacked will have all members of the treaty at their side within the forth-night.
The second is completely open borders. The third is no tariffs for goods within the Mediterranean, this does not
include goods bought from another country and re-sold, just goods made in any of the member nations.
The members of this new treaty are small but hopefully in the near future the member ranks will swell.
