Dirty Deeds ((Pananab Civil War))

A truck squealed through the Parooian city streets as the side of it was riddled with bullets. The driver was instantly killed, but the passenger was only hit in the left leg. He pushed the driver aside and kept driving. The man turned down several corners, grasping his cross necklace tightly. A Hummer with extra plating on teh side drove in front of teh truck and it crashed. They driver was taken from teh truck and dragged three blocks onto a very high Mosque where the two bodies were mutilated and hung from the Mosque. but as the bodies were being propped up, the Muslim warrior's head exploded as a Parubian sniper's bullet hit its target. But as the Parubian sniiper was moving to make his escape, he was looking down the barrel of an impromtu flame thrower as two Christians burned him to a crisp, reciting quotes from the Bible. Fighting like this sprung up all ovr Parooia, after three days of silence since the chemical plant explosion. The military was caught a bit off gaurd, but all ready they were deploying to stop it. Each side were capturing, killing, and mutilating each other. Muslim war cries could be heard as Christians were being flogged. Parubians could be heard making chants to the God of Murder as Muslims were being killed in the slowest, most painful ways possible. Christians were making mass prayers to God as Parubians were being crucified. In each place, military vehicles moved in, washing them all down with high-pressure water hoses. Fighting could be heard in the streets as looting and more mayhem were springing up in the business disctrict.

Everything was under control.

OOC: 'ope you don't mind. Grey is here to sell weapons and 'services' to anyone willing to buy and will be using them against the government that defeated him.

IC:

Mr. Grey stepped off a large, black civilian cargo helicopter along the northern reaches of Pananabian coast. He was accompanied by two other men, both armed, but neither wearing any indication of their loyalties to the Dominion. The three men moved quietly away from the helicopter as it took off, leaving behind a small blue sedan. The group climed in, with one of the guards at the wheel. He looked behind him at his counterpart, whi was sitting next to Mr. Grey in the back, unfolding what looked to be a topograhpical map modified with a few hastey political markers.

"Garovnik, which way from here?" he said in a deep, but quiet russian-accented voice.

Garovnik unhooked a compass from his belt ang began spinning it to match the map, after a second he reasponded, "Ummmm, head that way for now, there should be a road out there."

Staglav turned back to the front, "Should, just great. What did you do to that poor map!"

"It was that damn helicopter, the wind was throwing us all over up there, I couldn't draw straight line!" Garovnik sounded as if he had made this argument before, which he had of course done. He had known Staglav since they served together in the Pananbian War those many years ago. The men were members of the 42nd 'Emperor's Mercy' Light Infantry Battalion. Theirs was the only Pudite formation to resist and destroy the rebbelion of the conquered citizens in the city they held, and so that battalion was spared the fate offered to any other survivors of the attacks, hence their name.

The driver turned his little car off to the left, shifted up, and dissapeared from the little clearing over a small dune. The sedan was headed for the city of Parooia, where Mr. Grey had orders to get involved again...

OOC: Stupid treaty, grumble...
Pananab

OOC: I was hoping you'd get involved.
IC:
The Sedan was stopped at the font gate of Parooia but a military checkpoint. The equipment wielded by the Pananabian soldiers was surprisingly advanced. One of the soldiers knocked on the window of the sedan and motioned to teh driver to lower the window.
"I'm sorry, but the city of Parooia is being evacuated until the fighting calms down. I'm going to have to ask you to turn around. If you're looking for fam-"
Suddenly there were two large explosions as smoke rose from the city.
"Shit, those are the embassies. I was afraid of this."
The soldier ran back into the building to report the bombings.

OOC: I don't know what the gate is made out of, or what its like, so this may need some editing...

IC:

As soon as the Pananabian soldier turned his back Garovnik slammed his foot down onto the gas pedal, jolting the car foreword. The powerful engine, one of a few additions and upgrades made to the car back in the Dominion before the mission, revved up angrily as it plowed into the gate, smashing its way into the city with a loud crash and the metallic scraping of fence-on-undercarriage. Staglav propped his purposly battered Ak-74U up on a low gun mount in a slit just below the back window and would offer return fire if the soldiers attacked.

As soon as the gate was cleared Garovnik shifted up, revved the engine again and took off down a slender side street to his left, away from the checkpoint and into the heart of Parooia. He had business to attend to, and didn’t need any upstart nation’s toy soldiers telling him where and when to do it.

OOC: Why would tehy shoot at him? They're trying to save his life.

Also, if things go badly, would you be willing to let that character go?
IC:
"HOLY SHIT!"
"They blew up the embassies with what seems to be like holy shit?"
"No, this dumbass just blew right through the wooden gate. He's gonna get himself killed!"
"Everyone in Parooia is gonna wind up dead if it doesn't calm down soon!"
----
As the Sedan drove through the streets, people began to notice it. Among them were the rebels. To them, they were just another oppertunity to cause trouble and even start up more fights. Rebels of all three of the factions began to fire on the car as it passed by. Parubians build a makeshift blockade to stop the car just longenough for a group of Parubians to overwhelm it. The Military was on alert to report where the car was so theyw ould know where to go in case they got into any trouble.

OOC: Well, I just busted his gate wide open, I would've shot at the car, but thats me.

And year, when RP'ing, always assume all of my characters are disposable unless I say otherwise, even then I will usualy kill them off myself. Mr.Grey is not a single person, he is a rank. This does happen to be the Mr. Grey that was here for negotiations after the war, but there are other Mr. Greys.

IC:

Garovnik never swerved in his driving, the gunshots did not faze him, Fire was returned by Mr. Grey and Staglav however, each firing at any exposed heads out of the side windows with their own AK-74Us.

When confronted with the blockade the driver only sped up, his engine taking the extra pressue perfectly. Garovnik lowerd his head as he charged the car into the rebels roadblock, the heavily renforced front armour of the car smashing wood and scraping metal. This makeshift pile served only to slow the beast down, the determined driver pulled the car over the top of the wreckage and out of the firefight.

As Staglav turned back to the front, scanning out his window with his weapon, he noticed that Mr. Grey had been hit, one bullet to the shoulder, one to the upper arm. Mr Grey noticed Staglav's worried glance and addressed it,

"Don't worry, this would is nothing, they missed all primary systems. Do your duty." he said as the guard turned back to look out his window.

Garovnik looked back to Grey, "Sir, having witnessed that little bit of hostility, where is it exactly that you intend to make this deal?"

Grey, without turning from his window, offered his response, "I've secured a meeting with a rebel leader in the city. You just need to get us there, I'm betting we're not going to have a chance to explain this to those rebels." Finishing his sentance was a short burst of fire, lowering the head of one rebel who popped up to take a look.

OOC: Sorry, buy I had to get my guys outa the roadblock, I want to do something with this mission. Assume I have a deal with some guy, it could be a fake or the real thing, or an ambush, or the real thing!
Pananab

OOC: Let's see, the Real Thing, the Real Thing, the Fake Thing, or an Ambush. How about all four?

IC:
As they ventured deeper into the Muslim-held territory, they noticed that they were being fired on less and less. As the Sedan pulled up to the point where the deal was the be made, they noticed the lack of security. Gunfire could be heard nearby, but not close enought to be a concern. They walked up several flights of stairs to a small room with four gaurds, a table with man sitting at it, and another man behind him.

"Ah, Mr. Grey, I presume. Welcome to my HQ. I am-"
Before he could say anything, the man behind him pulled out a gun and blew his head off. The gaurds didn't flinch.
"Are you the arms dealer?" the man asked.

Without flinching or reacting in any way Mr. Grey answered in his deep, decided voice,

"Yes, I was sent to this territory by private contractors to distribute weapons of all catagories and qualities to the fighters here."

The guards behind the negotiator stood tall, weapons held close to their body armour in a relaxed position, watching without surprise the actions unfolding before them. It's just like these barbariens, always with the infighting thought Garovnik.

"Pananab really doesn't want that to happen. So we want to be the first buyer. Our troops are running dangerously low on ammunition and grenades. How much can you supply us within the next twenty-four hours?" the man asked. It was now very clear that the deal was a setup for the Muslim military leader by the more ruthless Junior Stowes military administration.

Mr. Grey did not hesitate in his response,

"We can supply you with both ammunition and explosives, but we need to know what caliber amunition you may need and specifically what type of grenades you would need. We can provide 40mm Fragmentation Grenades, 40mm Smoke Grenades, 40mm White Phosphorus Grenades, 30mm HEAT Grenades, as well as 43mm Flash Bombs, Fragmentation Grenades, Flare Grenades, or Smoke Grenades. Grenade launchers can also be provided. Ammunition is avalable in all calibers."

Mr. Grey stood, waiting for a response, anxious before his first sale.

"We use mostly AKs in our army, but we also have M-16s and Green Sun rifles, which use the same ammo as the AK. We need thirteen hundred kilograms of ammo at this moment. ((1,300 kg)) What are HEAT grenades?"

Grey paused for a moment, pulling a document out of a pocket inside of his coat and handing it over to the Pananabian negotiator. The small report detailed the HEAT grenades asked about,

High explosive anti-tank (HEAT) rounds are made of an explosive
shaped charge that uses the Neumann effect (a development of the Munroe
effect) to create a very high-velocity jet of metal in a state of
superplasticity that can punch through solid armor.

The jet moves at hypersonic speeds (up to 25 times the speed of sound) in
solid material and therefore erodes exclusively in the contact area of jet and
armor material. Spacing is critical, as the jet disintegrates and disperses
after a relatively short distance, usually well under 2 metres. The jet
material is formed by a cone of metal foil lining, usually copper.

The key to the effectiveness of a HEAT round is the diameter of the
explosive. As the penetration continues through the armor, the width of the
hole decreases leading to a characteristic "fist to finger" penetration, where
the size of the eventual "finger" is based on the size of the original "fist".
In general HEAT rounds can expect to penetrate armor of 150% to 250% of
their width, although modern versions claim numbers as high as 700%.

"So, I assume you would require the five-point five-six amunition standard to the later-model Kalishkinovs and the M-16? That we can supply in great quantities, although we do point you in the direction of the heavier seven point six-two round common in the AK-47 and AKM, both of which are fine rifles as well. The seven point six-two round, although with an admittably lesser long-range preformance, has a vastly greater stopping power than more modern weapons."
Pananab
14-03-2006, 23:23
"We do use the Seven point Six Two for our AKs and our Green Sun rifles. as for the HEAT grenades, I doubt we will need them any time soon."
Emporer Pudu
15-03-2006, 14:25
"Well, are you sure small arms is all that you require? We have can bring you anything you need...anything..."

Mr. Grey waited unmoving, letting his proposal sink in.
Pananab
16-03-2006, 00:37
"That's just what we need now. I would also like to put in an order for all of your grenades, save for the HEAT grenades, we don't need them. 2,600 kilograms of each. Don't know how many that is, but we'll be upset if we find steel in the bottom of the boxes when the orders arrive. Also, if you have any heavier munitions, we are looking to better arm our aircraft, navy, and armor."
Emporer Pudu
16-03-2006, 00:58
Mr Grey jotted a quick sentence on the notepad he drew from the inside of his coat and handed it back to the attendant behind him,

"We assure you, your munitions will be delivered on time. You will not be dissapointed. Also, you mentioned munitions for an air force or navy. I, sir, can deliver you your entire air force or navy! We have at our disposal the resources of an entire nation, anything your require, we will provide."
Pananab
16-03-2006, 01:24
"We also need jobs," the man replied, "So we intend on building our air force, navy, and our armor. I just need the weapons for them, not the vehicles themselves."
Emporer Pudu
16-03-2006, 02:41
"If that is what you want, then we can supply these weaponsfor you. Specify your needs and we will supply you your arms."
Pananab
17-03-2006, 01:26
60 120mm M256 Smoothbore Gun
120 AIM-54 Phoenix Sets (Of about 4, so 480 missiles total)
60 Hellfire Rocket Pods
60 20 mm Helicopter Gun
"Of course if you have anything better to offer I'm willing to listen."
Emporer Pudu
17-03-2006, 03:51
Again Mr. Grey made some notations and passed them backwards,

"Your needs will be met, of course. However, let us recommend, in stead of your AIM-54 air-to-air rocket choice, the more advanced AIM-120 AMRAAM missile. It provides superior accuracy for a decreased range. If you choose these missiles can either replace or supplement your current choices."
Pananab

An uncorrupted Pananab muslim Congressman has left teh capital for Parooia and has been motioning the Muslims to lay down their arms. The attempt is being very successful with the leadership of the terrorists having been completely assasinated, but he is allowing certain pockets to keep tehir arms to protect against other terrorists.

((I'm getting bored with this.))
The riots have ended after much fighting, but the leadership of Stowes anbd his commanders have secured Pananab as a safer place. arooia is being evacuated and all outgoing people are being screened and many of them arrested, where they will be sent to a military prison. Stowes has plans to turn Parooia into a Prison City.
