United states forces today were dispatched to secure 2 new sectors of space, while they are small sectors they are strategically important to the union, they are designated for outposts, and a froward base of operations.
FDF command has ordered the 31st carrier task group and the 22 carrier task group to secure these areas..

chatter could be heard on the subspace radio from fighters and the command ships as the medium sized ship group of 30 ships floated along , there fighters deployed in sweeping patterns . the command had ordered them to secure the area while ships built an outpost on a rocky planet, it was a rather boring mission no threats it seemed, nonetheless they were there, the commanders of the ships thought it was a waste of time, they could serve better securing the border on more hostile nations.. but FDFC put them there for a reason, fighter squadrons could be heard around the area of space, talking to each other saying how much waste this was.. but they were also joking and sharing information bout scans.
there zero mass engines, rumbled , the noise could be heard a little in the cockpit as , fighters maneuvered in patrol mode, smaller ships and frigates were doing maneuvers a little closer in than the fighters..
