Elections in the Republic

It is election time in the Republic of Agonnoga.

While the fact remains that it has been eight years since the Revolution was ended, the office of president is still open to the public.

Herein this pamphlet is the information about the candidates platform;

Jarl Noea, Puritan State Party incumbent
- focused on streamlining the government so that it runs on military lines
- focused on improving civil service and "cutting the red tape"
- social welfare programs only limited to the most needed (i.e. to the poor)
- a state run transportation network that is ensconed in the military and free for all those whom need it the most, a low fee for those whom do not
- a state run public transportation network for the cities
- agricultural reforms within the major communes of the coastal cities
- revival of the English Cocker Spaniel as the national canine
- increased diplomatic presence on the world stage
Experiences: Colonel in the Republican Civil Guard, served as Minister of the Economy under previous President, served as President of the Republic of Agonnoga for the past 4 years, proponent of the Electoral Reform Act, originally from the Agon Marshland Fields, raised in Agonbay

Ava Varon, Libertarians
- more freedom for the individual
- less focus on the military, more on the "Civil" aspects of the service
- social welfare programs cut and given to the Church
- state run transportation programs that is charged a low service for all
- low taxes
- more focus on economic ties with international countries rather than military
- more civil rights allowed for those accused of a crime
- reformation of the educational system
- more freedom for women within governmental posts
- opening of the court system for participation of the people
Experiences: Feminist Professor at the Republican Libertarian University in Darkard Fields, former Member of Parliment for 4 years representing Darkard Fields, former Minister of Social Reform in the previous Social Revolutionary government, signee of the Republican Reform Act, has two children, devotee of the Prophet

Okoko Rune, Anarchic-Communist
- dismemberment of the military
- return to the "Commune" based social revolutionary government
- more focus on the welfare programs
- restrained focus on the Church and it's programs
- reformation of the criminal court system
- public transportation
- focus of the international scene on the theme of "Socialism"
- better ties with the Social Revolution
- increased agricultural reforms
- stable market prices for industrial goods
- restraining of the industrial corporations
Experiences New devotee of the Prophet, former Minister of the Treasury under the Social Revolutionary Government, former Member of Parliment of Halah City, former Mayor of Halah City, party leader of the Anarchic-Communist Bloc, recognized imam of the Halah Sect of the Church, noted presence within the coastal cities and agricultural areas

If there is a tie between two of them, one shall be the Prime Minister.

If there is a tie between the three, a run-off election shall be held with the one with the greater amount of votes
