The FDD Today announced an on going project that the FDF has been doing research on.. an anti FTLi Counter measure. This project had begun a few months ago and was kept under wraps by the FIA, as of currently its only a single nation effort, how ever allies may be accepted as patenters in this Endeavor as time progresses.

(ooc ill write more later, but nay one have any suggestions on how to go about this, i could use input)

Would only be useful on certain types of FTL drives. Like wormholes and slipspace and chaos drives. It needs to inhibit one type or subcatagory of drives.

OOC: Nonono, he's working on an anti-FTLi device. A countermeasure to the blanket FTLi (combination gravity well generator and space-time reinforcement device) that's slung about so much here. Of course, it still only needs to work on one type of drive...

well im trying to counter it so i don't have to have 50 million different drives in my ships...I was thinking of using a micro singularity core to power a strong field to counter FTLI...

((OOC: The problem with developing a counter measure for FTLi is that very few people explain how their FTLi works. They use a techno-babbled Blanket system so that nothing can pass. Without knowing what it is you are trying to counter you yourself end up with simply a techno-babbled Blanket Anti-FTLi and the "I can! No you can not!" argument ensues.))
