The Venezuelan leader had warned the President of their Brazilan allies, Migueal Roya against becoming more capitalist, But Roya did not listen and passed many right winged laws.

Venezuela cut off diplomatic relations between the two countries. Brazil responded by increasing border patrol.

The next day a Venezuelan covert agent was caught in Rio attempting to assinate the Brazilan defense minister. Brazil attacked Venezuela military troops at the border.

Venezuela launched a full scale areal bombardment on Fort Dreamcatcher.

Right now Brazilan troops are ready to assult Venezuela.

[ooc: way to start a war!!! :)]

France condemns the actions of both Venezuela - for perpetrating illicit acts of counterintelligence and attempts to assassinate a foreign national, as well as the hostile behavior toward a friendly nation and actions directly involving the commitment to war with her neighbor - and Brazil - for failing to act diplomatically in this matter.

That said, France wishes to offer both countries a place of safe haven to conduct negotiations and mediate a peace between the two countries.

Official reply from Argentina,

A war in South America cannot be allowed. The fragile economic system would undoubtably collapse both in Brazil and Venezuela as the result of such a conflict. Moving soldiers away from peacetime duties would open up both countries to internal strife from crime organizations attempting to sieze upon the chaos. Argentina officially condemns this build-up to warfare, and we warn both nations that we will not hesitate to take steps to protect the continent from disurbance.

The French government expresses its solidarity with the Republic of Argentina, urging both sides to come to an agreement, rather than force their actions to the commitment of war.

As of the present moment, the Republic of France is pressing for sanctions on both Venezuela and Brazil, concerning their uncooperative behavior towards the other.

OOC: Israel wonders why Russia couldn't be as nice to Greece as they were to Brazil... is it because the US is a close ally of Greece?

OOC: It would have gone differently if they didn't get our weapon or surrendered it to us if they had. Oh well, their loss. ;)

((OCC: You might want to change the name of the war on the OCC page to "Crisis" instead of conflict))
