To American President Franklin Roosevelt

France wishes to conduct a more formal and friendly treaty with the United States. In this dangerous world, each free, deomcratic nation needs to have as many friends as possible. Many aggressor nations are attacking, spreading tyranny and autocracy as we speak. It may be better for France and the United States to ally to stop these forces. Please return answer.

News

In reply to aggressive actions taken by various foreign powers, the President has made a speech.

"Actions taken by several European nations as of late have become little more than an international case of ganging up on our friends, the British. Besieged from many sides, they have faced down threat after threat boldly, with the dignity appropriate to a world power. A nation of peace. A nation of justice. The British crown now must take up arms in its own defense and in the defense of the people of England and associated provinces.

As of this date today, I have personally approved the deployment of the 1st and 2nd B-17 bomber squadrons to England. Further, the United States 9th Atlantic Fleet will be sent to England for a tour of the country.

We denounce the actions of Italy and her allies, and we warn that highway robber, that international banditry will not go unpunished."

New York City, New York
40 B-17 bombers will take off and head to England. The US 9th Fleet will steam towards England.
