The time of the Trailarii has passed. This thought has been on the collective subconcious of this proud race for centuries. In the countless years since they first departed from mother Terra, they have changed, evolved, adapted to their now Homeworld Trailaria. This strange enviroment, so different and yet so similiar to earths own has jumpstarted the dormant evolution genes of humans, turning the Trailarii into a whole new race, no longer classifiable or recognizeable as homo sapiens. This new envirement with it's distant binary stars and tropical climate (For in truth Trailaria has no continents, rather, islands spread across a world ocean. These islands are connected by a massive system of bridges, monorails, and gigantic city-hubs that sprawl the world over. Seven hundred years ago this network was completed and called "The Met". All of this was done in secret IC, since it's been rattling about in my head for some time..though I rarely have time for NS anymore, and thus, havn't technically implimented it yet. Now hush, I'll n00k j00) has spawned slow changes in the basic Traileric form. They have grown taller, pale, and have pads much akin to scales upon their forearms and the sides of their heads. But this is beside the point. The Immortal Traileric Empire has regretebly terminated all it's alliances. Trade routes carrying Traileric barges are now void of any of this elder races craft. All efforts and vast resources of the Trailarii are being used to completely uproot the Traileric civilization and migrate into galaxies unknown. Farjump drives capable of spanning the Milky Way(Projenator technology for you Homeworld fans) have been available to the Trailarii and other species for quite some time. Furthermore, The Met is being packed up, folded like a gargantian spider web and stored in the bellies of the largest Traileric barges. The "Symphony" class planetary defense system has been scrapped, but the "Aegis" world guardian fields have been uprooted and jimmy-rigged to the military Juggernaughts and civil barges of equal or greater size. Finally, "Nest" class military transportation vessels have been temporarily refitted to hold thousands of civilians. This is a process that will take years..transporting over five and a half billion lifeforms is no easy task. First, a small fleet of Traileric military craft will depart for a distant galaxy, next, a gate will be constructed and linked to a sister gate in the Traileric home system. Then colony vessels will be built on the other side and towed by the fleet, then the population will be injected into these vessels. Finally, the gate will close, and the only evidence that the Trailarii ever existed will be the sprawling husks of it's derelict cities, and the gate that led them away from here and to their new home.

OOC: Bump for the sake of allies recognizing the termination of alliances and/or newbies playing landgrab.

OOC: Not exactly a newbie, but hey... What's the timeline on this, can we notice the activation of the gate, or does it have to be later?
IC:
The small portion of the Zeji Armada nearest this place had been drawn here to see what remained of the peoples that had once inhabited this place. When the Zeji were young they remembered viewing beings here, but wethjer or not any remained was a matter for investigation.

OOC: Timeline is part of the way through the movements, masses of ships are lined up in formations before the gigantic gate.
IC: The exotic craft of the civilian transport barges took little notice of inferior visitors, and the military took even less. The Trailarii were an old, old race. They had advanced to the point where a handfull of Traileric warships could cut most fleets to ribbons in a matter of minutes, extrasystem visitors were not ones to make the Trailarii jumpy. Though, when the Zeji arrived, their sensors should become a carcophany of electromagnetic chatter as the move was coordinated and more Traileric vessel's arrived.

OOC: Ok. In the expanded SC universe the Zeji are something of an "Elder" Race. They're OLD. Like, the Protoss are old, the Xel Naga are older, the Zeji are even older still.
IC:
It seemed that there certainly were still people living here...
We are the Zeji. What are you? When last we knew this place it was different. Has time changed so much?

OOC: I see. The Trailarii go back pretty far too. :P I've been here since '03..so I feel old. xD Thus I play ancient.
IC:
We are the Trailarii, we washed our hands of Mother Terra ages past, and now we wash our hands of this galaxy. Our time here has ended..we have known that it would since time out of mind. We sense that you know our minds..we are alike. The endless chatter of younger races and worlds, the constant harriers of inferior races that seek to make a name for themselves by assaulting a powerful foe. These tribulations weary us, so now, we move on. Lay claim to our lands, Brothers, you shall do our buried ancestors honor.

OOC: Yeah, the Zeji are a recent addition, ironically enough.
IC:
We understand. We have slept long before we were called back to this place. In the name of those who are our new commanders, we will hold this place into perpetuity. The Zeji Armada contained few ships at this time, many having been lost to the ravages of time or depredations of younger ravagers, but enough remained that they could colonize this planet, and begin to grow their race anew.

Silence for a few moments. A handfull of small ships slipped into that blazing gate.
Old, yet few in number..ah..how alike you are to many of our elder bretheren. Open your databanks lost kiith Zeji, and recieve the knowledge of those that passed you by in your long sleep.
Suddenly, the Zeji computational devices were flooded with inbound information: Traileric design schematics for those barges that were currently moving the last of the Trailarii from planetside, the "Symphony" class planetary defense system, starmaps, farjump technology, and other Traileric planets that had also been left as an inheritance (not to mention Traileric mining colonies, research stations etc etc etc.). All that could not be carried off was left behind for these people, and now, the information with which to interface these incredibly advanced technologies was available.

“Sir, I am detecting massive dimensional energy surges.”
“Let me see”
The C.O. stood next to the Tactical Officer and looked over her shoulder at the display.
“Run a diagnostic of the system. That cannot be real.”
“I already did sir; it reported all systems accurate to acceptable preferences.”
“Let’s see what is happening. Use the WH Probe.”
“Yes Sir.”
The officer manipulated several controls and activated the Worm Hole Probe. Nearby the Exodus of the Trailer fleet, a microscopic worm hole opened up and the probe hidden within it looked out, scanning everything it could for the short duration of the event.
“Sir, it appears a large number of ships are entering a very large and powerful gate in the Trailers sector. It looks like, um, they are leaving.”
“Send word to the Emperor. He will want to hear about this.”
Shortly the Honor Guard Emerged from T-Space. It was led by The Serendipity, the Emperor’s personal flagship. The fleet kept a respectable distance while the flagship approached what appeared to be some sort of command vessel. When it was close enough, it broadcast a message.
Greetings Trailers.
I had heard of reports of your impending departure but I was not aware it would be so soon. I would like to meet with you one last time to say good bye to not only a fellow ESUS member and ally, but to a friend of the Balrogga Empire over the years.
Nhur-Galladu
~Emperor
The Serendipity waited for it’s ally to respond.

Such knowledge... We know much of this realm, even with what we lost during the long sleep, but there are things within that even our knowledge does not encompass. Our appreciation iswithout limit. With all of this knowledge the Zeji could become even greater than they had been. The power of the Armada would grow and be without measure.

The Serendipity waited for it’s ally to respond.
Voices rolled like a tide across the skywaves, broadcasting this message to their ancient friends, the Balrogga Empire.
Much has transpired in our time of unity, Your Excellency, your unwavering friendship, and indeed the strong arm of the Extra-Solar Union of Systems, has been a comfort and a helping hand. Alas, even the mighty Roman's of old saw their downfall in the lands of the ancestors. We will not decline, we will not fall, The Trailarii are Immortal. Our brand shall forever remain on this quadrant, no matter who claims ownership. Here, our dead are buried, and the spirits slumber. Go in peace, friends, for in whatever time's you have dire need have no doubt we shall be there, have no doubt we will do all possible to preserve your continued existance. Our alliance is not sundered, simply suspended as the mighty Trailarii fade from this galaxy as would a memory from an aging shaman.
A brace of Traileric interceptors-of-the-line performed an honorary flyby of the Balroggan flagship before diving into that great dark gate and whatever fate resided beyond it for the Immortal Trailrii.

As the ships leaft through the Gate, the Emperor ordered his Honor Guard Fleet to line up in a show of respect for their allies as they left the Galaxy. The ships formed a line along the gatepath each with their weapons fullt charged so the ballels glowed but not firing. A salute to their allies as they filed past.
Aboard the Serendipity, the Emperor tried to contact the Trailarii using his Psi. He found them and transmitteded:
"I would like to personally thank every member of the Trailarii for the honor to know you through out the eons. When you return, you will be welcomed at my House with Honor."

The great collected conciousness of that aged race responded in kind, the voices of billions giving forth their message.
May our return be sooner than late, Exalted One, and bourn on the wings of peace rather than wings of war. We fear greatly for the Milky Way and it's constant unrest. Alas, it is our time to wander as nomads of the cosmos.

OOC:
This takes place at the end of the thread and will count as the last action taking place.
IC:
As the last of the ships enter the rift, Nhur-Galladu salutes them one last time. The gate closes and everything is silent again. The Imperial ships disengage their weapons and line up in formation.
Aboard The Serendipity, the Emperor watches silently.
"Use the Dimensional Destabelizer. I don't want anyone to be able to trace where thet went. They will get the peace they so much deserve."
Minutes later the ship was in place and suddenly a ripple spread outwords in all directions, scrambling the local space-time coordinants as well as the dimensional. The effect would only last about an hour but it effectively erased the gate signature. Nobody will ever find them unless Trailers wanted them to.
The Serendipity rejoined her escort. Nhur-Galladu sent one last message, not knowing if they ever received it.
One last gift, my friends.
