Lord Talimaka rode his mighty steed through the town, the Republic of Talimakaka were in the bronze age but were at the highest of standards, doors gleamed with jewelled engraved doors, Talimaka looked around him and saw neatly groomed men smelting down the copper and tin fashioned bronze spears leant against the wall.

The tribes strength cavalary . The horse were the frontrunners of the civilisations the flag for the nation. When ever you see the cavalry or even a single horse from the culture you cannot help but to be in awe.

The huge horses were not only usefull for fast scouting missions but also to plough through ranks of men or to carry many weapons to battle or to carry home the heroes. They were also used in running the mills pulling carts and for peoples general travel.

"Gentle beasts Fierce in battle loyal til the end."

Talimaka stroked his oiled beard and looked down at his horse the phrase had been drilled into him as a babe and now he was astride the strongest and the fastest horse of the tribe, he felt the power surge and the muscles tense.

THhis was to be the day he opened his tribe up to the new world the world of trade of prosperitey of learning but also war...how many men must he sacrifice for this how many horses will lie in the field for the last time, he hoped none but life had taught him better.

It had been nearley a year since his message had been sent out, surely the world cannot bethis big sureley a nation other than mine exists.

He looked to the horizon as he saw a distinct column of dust in the distance .... could this be the first contact with another nation?

The sand column began to get closer and Talimaka rode up to his his hut shouting at his maidens to get his more exquisite attire and the stable boys to brush down and oil his horse.

He ran into the wash house and splashed his face with ice cold water.

"This could be it" He thought to himself "Before the sheets of white grace our lands again"

Talimaka strode out into the grove his hair in a neat braid his horse waiting at the tree glimmering from its newley oiled coat.

Horse and master without a word began the walk upto the meeting hall Talimaka did not bother with riding he prefered to walk along side his horse in the town so he could greet his friends and citizens more appropriatley.

He muttered to his horse as he walked the horse grunted along as if he knew what was being said.

As Talimaka entered the meeting place the smell of sweet cooking hit his nostrils, sherbert goblets stood on the low table. Ready to welcome whoever that was under the dust cloud.

He sat down on his seat and summoned his elddars they were his advisors, friends and foremost loyal to his reign. Who wouldnt be he was a strong powerful but kind man.

This was the begining of the new age the time to go forward this day would be great.

The colum stopped as it reached just outside the settlement; the men in it were long and thin, with weary faces. They each carried two flourishing sabers and agiant pikes twice as long as a man on their back; behind them was a large caravan train of wagons filled with exotic goods, weapons and spices. These were Jaeger soldiers, the elite of Ravea. There were well over a thousand.

The group had traveled many months to arrive where they were now, crossing a desert and several mountian chains, as well as braving attacks from bandits along the way. Ravea had recived a mysterious message, at it had led them here.

A tall man stepped from the mass of soldiers and called out to no one in particular.

"Representatives of Ravea have arrived at Lord Talimaka's request! Please, couuld someone tell me where he is, so that I might speak with him? I am Teros Oromea, the leader of these troops!"

A horn sounded out loudly across the crisp Alaskan air.

There was a force outside his settlement quickly he ran to his horse and jumped lithely on his back his honour guard fell into speed with him well be fore he reached the gate.

"Open the gates" The captain of the guard shouted

He didnt need to, the men on the gates knew their job but shouted back down happily

"gates opening"

Talimaka's mind was going mad were these men here for democracy or to invade our peacefull nation? Either way he would greet them first if he went down his people had a slight chance. He looked towards the force and reconsidered his men and saw even though there was over a thousand men his people would fight till the death even the woman and children if he were to be slain, he didnt want that.

The sun gleamed off the stirrups as he reigned up his horse a few metres away from Teros Oromea.

"I am Talimaka Lord of these lands, may we speak in a more private area, accomodation and food for your troops will be provided"

The honor guard did not blink even though this was a sure way of offering an easy kill for this force they trusted their leader.

"So what will it be" Talimaka thought "what will it be........"
