S.A. Tannen Dies in Tannenmille, Doctors Shocked

TannenIntel DFR: Information Declassified to UNCLASSIFIED 1728hrs Saharistan Time

TSN - Sovereign Arbiter Peffe Tannen, ruler of the Sucellan Governance of Tannenmille, died in the United Provincial Rhineland early this morning, apparently due to natural causes. Coroners are working on the late Arbiter to perform an autopsy and hopefully shed light on the Arbiter's sudden and untimely demise. His death comes shortly after Tannenmille celebrated the 240th anniversary of the date Rel Tannen, Sovereign Arbiter Peffe Tannen's great-grandfather, founded the nation of Tannenmille.

Arbiter Tannen's life was marked with a considerable rise in diplomacy and economic stimulation, compared with his father's focus on government and military. During the reign of Peffe Tannen, Tannenmille saw very little conflict, a stark contrast to the five wars fought over the period his father, Aven Tannen II, served as the Sovereign Arbiter of Tannenmille. High Chancellor Wolfgang Rosenthal has served as High Chancellor under both Aven Tannen II and Peffe Tannen, somehow outlasting both of them while keeping his youth in the process. As with S.A. Aven's death, it is expected that High Chancellor Rosenthal will again step up as de facto Sovereign Arbiter until the official heir to the throne of Tannenmille is prepared to take on his duty.

Any nations or citizens of those nations, including Tannenmillian citizens, may submit questions regarding the life and exploits of the late Sovereign Arbiter (either Peffe Tannen or Aven Tannen II) to the Ministry of Terran Affairs. Send all mail to Ministry of Terran Affairs, 244 Aven Circle, Berlin, Provincial Rhineland.

OOC: So Tannenmille, is this the rp where the insane heir takes control, only restarted due to a lack of community interest?

OOC: You'll see. It won't but just like BAM woah crazy man. If I go that route it will be a lot subtler and gradual. Also, a lot darker.

Aven Tannen III Assumes Arbitral Responsibility

BERLIN, UPR, TANNENMILLE - SGN - With the nation still recovering from the death of Sovereign Arbiter Peffe Tannen, a new beacon of leadership has risen. Aven Tannen III, son of Sovereign Arbiter Peffe Tannen and grandson of Arbiter Aven Tannen II, took on his responsibility as heir to the Tannenmillian throne in Berlin, Tannenmille today. Celebrations regarding the new Sovereign Arbiter are being held all across Tannenmille, even as mourners continue to grieve for the late Sovereign Arbiter Peffe. High General Chriztoph Vengerd of Dororsyforce, in a brief interview with Sucellan Governance News, said, "I'm very excited about serving under this new Sovereign Arbiter. I've talked with him some about policies, specifically regarding the Sucellan Armed Forces and Dororsyforce, and his ideals are very much in tune with my own. I feel that, even as I mourn for Peffe and Aven the Second before him, that I am quite ready and willing to serve under Aven the Third with as much loyalty as I would give Aven the Second."

Still, while most of Tannenmille embraces the Arbitral Government, some citizens feel that Parliament and the Chancellory, the checks and balances to the Arbiter, should be conferred more power, and have partial power removed from the Throne. The newly-crowned Sovereign Arbiter has not said much about internal policy, but we will wait for the celebration to end to see how the new Sovereign Arbiter truly acts.
