Sukiaida

The castle wall looked like a work in progress, that's because it happened to be a work in progress. The wall met with the palisade, the gate being a bridge that was pulled up over a huge moat that went around the ruins of the castle.
The castle itself, if you could call it that was mostly large blocks of stone, with a view of the forest to the side. The moat was just a huge hole around the perimeter, with large sharp stakes pointing outward. The soldiers worked unde the command of the stone masons, building up more of the wall while they stood guard.
Inside the perimeter were five weels, stationed so that a steady water supply could be brought. Large tents surrounded the area, men sleeping in them, or in little wooden huts. THe only stone edifice came from the armory which had been built near the storage area. They'd been first, and now the outer perimeter wall must be finished or they'd be incapable of actually continuing the castle.
General SUkiaida stood with a map, his mounted men carrying messages to all their nearby neighbors. THey settled here, but they certaintly didn't know who happened to be out there. The general himself looked tired, despite being less than the age of 30. He had a long scar on the side of his cheek, wondering what the other countries would do. Of course they might wish to marry their daughters to him. He'd never had time during his mercenary days to settle with any one woman. SO that would definetly be an available option. BUt right now he must continue building. -
