The Plans:
The first operational training for the RRF will take place in Tuscany, a province of Italy very popular under tourists. historical landmarks are Pisa, with it's leaning tower, and the cities of Volterra and San Gimignano, Aswell as others. Van Luxemburgian High command, in cooperation with the Interim Secretary of the RRF, Philippe Dermont, has chosen the beaches South of Livorno and Pisa to serve as beachheads, defended by a force defined OPFOR. OPFOR is coming in different sorts and sizes. OPFOR ALPHA is former government, OPFOR BETA is a group of rebels, currently controlling a Nuclear weapon. Currently controlling the Beaches is OPFOR ALPHA, while BETA holds La Spezia, Firenze and Siena. Rebel forces are relatively low-tech, but heavily armoured. Ex-governmental forces are more high-tech, and have Leopard 2's, but do have only a thin line of troops.
The Scenario:
A nation, who's in civil war after several coups, has threatened the outside world to use a Nuclear weapon, which is in OPFOR BETA's power. After the ratification of Proposal 13A, IASP's RRF has decided to intervene in this OPFOR war. The complete RRF, together with Van Luxemburgian Landing Vessels (Montpellier and Mistral class LPD's, together with Freethinker-built Jericho-Class Large LPD's, will land on beaches South of Livorno. Objectives are the Naval Harbour of La Spezia, Pisa, Livorno, Siena and the Capital, Firenze (Florence).
When these are secure, The RRF will switch to white vehicles and start maintaining peace. Objective to be found is the Nuclear weapon, and capture it. Also, the Peace and order must be restored and kept. All objectives and patrols will be put together by the RRF's High Command, consisting of all military commanders.
Intelligence:
The IVD currently has no idea where the Nuclear Weapons could be stored or kept. A vague idea is a mountainous area, which provides enough space to potentially launch a rocket which could carry a 40-kiloton Nuclear device.
The current loadout of OPFOR ALPHA is as following:

18 Cougar transport helicopters
6 PAH-1 (Bo-105 helicopter with AT launchers)

The ALPHA line along the beach is thin, but not underpowered. The ALPHA controls most of the coastline, aswell as the cities Pisa and Livorno. Others are in the hands of BETA. IVD expects that the Governmental forces will put up quite a fight, aswell as the Rebels. They will not let their country go to foreigners.
(OOC: Basically, people can start invading, BUT... We need to find an OPFOR player, someone who controls either OPFOR ALPHA, BETA or both of them. Anyone out of the NS Community available? I would advise RRF members to not start invading until we found an OPFOR player.)
