Quaonion Colony in Bendack Solar System, Adromeda Galaxy

Douglas Scots looked into the night sky, longingly. It was a beautiful night, thousands of stars to be seen, millions of planets to be imagined. He watched through his telescope. He pinpointed the location of a star in the Milky Way Galaxy. It was the star that supported the planet called Earth. He wished to be near that sun again, to feel its warmth.

Douglas Scots was a member of the Quaonion space program. The space program, years ago, had launched a manned flight to the moon of Jupiter, Europa. He had so dearly wanted to get there. He wanted to see the ice, and see if there was anything beneath that ice. But…something had happened. They weren’t far from Earth’s moon when there was a flash of light, and something extremely unexpected occurred.

The ship had somehow emerged hundreds of light years away from Earth. No one knew how, but most scientists assumed that somehow some kind of wormhole had opened up. After several unsuccessful attempts to go back to through the wormhole, the craft had landed on the nearest planet. Lord, were they surprised.

They found what no one else would ever believe-aliens. The Bendickians. Strange ones, they were. The Quaonions had been hoping since the second they had seen the alien cities from the air, that the Bendickians would be an advanced species. Little green men with flying saucers. People who could take them home.

Unfortunately for them, the Bendickians were at basically the same level of advancement as Earth was. The two species managed to comprehend each others languages, and the Quaonions had established a colony. The new world was nice, but Douglas Scots longed for home. He longed to see his wife and children again.

It was assumed that back on Earth, Quaon had announced that something had gone wrong with the craft, and that all the researchers had died. How Douglas wished it were true. He would be able to see his family again.

Douglas started praying. Praying to God that somehow he would be able to get back to that distant star in the Milky Way. For hours on end, he prayed, trying to remember Quaon in all her splendor…

OOC: Okay, if you’re a future tech nation who isn’t necessarily in the future (advanced alien race, etc.) is welcome to jump in. MT nations can also play, and if someone wants to play the Bendickians, feel free.

OOC: Okay, sure, but let's keep this not too fantastic. The whole point of the story is that the Quaonions have no idea how the heck a routine space mission ended them in a whole other galaxy. And, is anyone willing to play the Bendackian aliens, or should I play them?

Douglas looked at his moniters. He was one of the head scientists in the Colony, and was assigned to try and figure out what had happened with the wormhole. Suddenly, a red dot appeared on the monitors.

The Shuttle was heading out into Space at an incredible speed...

Captain Yuri Orlov was confounded about the fact that they were heading into the void of space.

One of the Cosmonauts watched in totally surprise at this phenomena that was appearing directly in the Shuttle's direct path.

The Cosmonaut runs from his tactical station to report to Yuri directly.

"Sir, Unknown disruption in our path we can not maneuver away from it sir."

Yuri replies, "Very well pray to the Dark Sun we get out of this alive."

"Yes sir."

The Shuttle enters the Wormhole before any one can move it away.....

Averanta, a Bendickian, looked at the message in utter amazement. Sure, they had met aliens before, but they had come here entirely by accident, and were no more advanced than them.

His eyes lit up. He had waited for this moment his entire life. After a quick check with the other Bendickians, he sent a message to the Whistle Republic.

The engines of the cruser Starfire woke and the blue flame of hydrogen fusion trailed behind the ship as it accellerated towards the inner system.

One day later, the Starfire was in orbit of the planet. The hanger opened and a dropship fell towards the planet. It made atmospheric entry and, after contact with the Bendickian air control, landed.

The door opened and the Contact Party emerged with the Ambassader in the lead.
