"Hello fellow citizens of the glorious peoples republic of Cubalibra, today, the notorious president Moraje Vigola has been overthrown and I,
General DeVáLa Gótt has accepted this great job to serve you, my people. Today, we walk from the hiddious and evil capitalistic ways!
And embrace the beutifull Communism that will show us the path to glory! I bring you, my people, a future!"
The General adressed the nation and then whent on with the golf.
Cubalibra, a small island in the pacific ocean with 5 million cigar smoking and mambo dancing Hispanic people. Yesterday General DeVála Gótt threw the former president into a small clay pit.
It resembles much of Cuba, in fact, it is very much like Cuba. The main cash flow into the nation is cotton and drugs, for such a small place. It provides aprox 10% of the worlds drug use.
And the revolution itself wont change much other that everything is "owned" by the government. The general likes to see himself as a man of the people, a man with visions. One day Cubalibra will be a glorious communist state that everyone will look upon with envy.
The army consist of a handful tanks, one battleship a number of small patrol boats and around 45.000 ground troops. Equipment is not state of the art, but the general is proud to sit on not only one, but three nuclear weapons.
It is his security to not be shoved of his rightful place as the nations father by some nosy captialistic country.
A general rule in Cubalibra is that with enough money, you have to watch your back and you can go pretty much anywhere. The public is layedback and wont work more than nessesary, smoking a cigar and drinking some fine tequila in the evening is way more important than anything else.
"Enjoy the fine moments in life, the rest is relative" they say. And fine moments they have allot. And a Cubalibra Cigar is considered a luxury in the rest of the world, and something you cant live with in the nation.
Mambo is the national dance and is done litteraly everywhere. "If you cant mambo, you cant live" as one famous dancer once said.
He had broken his foot and took his life after he said it. And the day of his funeral is now a national holiday "Mambo Day". A large carnival through the whole country.
The nations capital, which yesterday was named "Victoria" after the former presidents daughter, is now named "St. Maria" after the generals ex wife. Who lives on a unknown location, sending death threats to her former husband. Very scary letters is the rumor.
Cubalibra have close relationships with various drug syndicates. "Fine men who supply the capitalists with poison" the general says. "That island is a threat to the whole world" someone else said.
The revolution itself was not so bloody, it was the third this year. And if things was going as planned, it would be another five before the end of it.
"The sun always shine on Cubalibra, thats why we truly live in the night" Every night is a reason to celebrate that you are still alive. And the people of Cubalibra celebrate every night.
To The World and its leaders
It is with great pleasure that I, the glorious general of the people of Cubalibra, invites you to my beutifull estate, to share our thoughts of the world. And a chance for you to see my, our, beutifull country. I hope that every leader who recieves this will come, and taste our cigarrs and do the mambo. The peoples republic of Cubalibra wellcomes you all to our free nation.
ps. I hope you enjoy the cigarr.
Yours truly
General DeVála Gótt
