Kravania City

Those citizens of Kravania City who worked 9-5 jobs were just getting up for the start of another day at work on what most thought would be another routine Tuesday morning. The weather was mild and for the last 4 days and nights there were no bombing raids or missile attacks from the many enemy nations Kravania was at war with in Kravania's war with the Lone Alliance.

However, many Kravanians were now starting to face the very real possibility of starvation as the nation's food supply was near depletion due to the war and it's soaking up of Kravania's resources and the huge negative impact the war had on Kravania's economy and it's trade with other nations.

Beggars and the homeless now littered the streets of Kravania City and crime was now out of control, with many streets out of bounds for most people, for they were now the turf of rival criminal street gangs and Kravania City was now awash with rapists, muggers, drug dealers and youths who would terrorise anyone who came across their path. These criminals now put more fear into Kravanians than the dreaded, elite paramilitary, Special Security Force (SSF) or the Secret Police, the National Intelligence Service (NIS).

Things were now looking bad for Kravania if teenage gang members could put more fear into the ordinary Kravanian citizen than Kravania's dictator, Atne Pavelic.

However, despite the situation inside Kravania getting worse by the hour, as the war was now pushing Kravania's society to the very edge, most of the inhabitants of Kravania City thought today would just be a repetition of yesterday, only worse.

However, at 5:AM on that very Tuesday morning, T-80 tanks from the 3rd armound regiment of the Kravanian Army, a total of 450 tanks in total, drove down the streets of Kravania City, passing by the citizens of the city, who at first thought that these tanks were just on routine wartime manouvers at the command of Atne Pavelic and the Kravanian Central Command in their underground base in the Carpathian Mountains.

But as some of tanks passed by a local Fascist Party office building, they turned their turrets and took aim at the building, which despite the early hours, was already fully staffed. Then the tanks began to fire and pounded the Fascist Party building for the duration of about 5 minutes, until the entire building was in flames, it's staff either dead or running out into the street in flames, screaming in agonising pain.

At 5:50 AM, the central radio station was closed down and all communications were blocked from Kravania City to the rest of the nation, thus cutting of Atne Pavelic from any news of the coup, for the next few hours, giving the rebels vital time to secure their coup.

The now abandoned Kravanian parliament building was now surrounded by tanks loyal to the Rebel army units and the coup leaders.

At 7:35 AM, the leader of the coup, Colonel Andreas Bachman, walked up to the top of the steps of the parliament building in front of it's main plaza. Colonel Bachman surrounded by his loyal troops, some of them with video recording equipment, to capture his speech to the people of Kravania.

After five minutes or so, Colonel Andreas began his speech.

"Dear compatriots of Kravania."

"Today, I, Colonel Andreas Bachamn, along with other brave and free thinking patriots in the Kravanian Armed Forces, have made the painful yet much needed decision to remove the corrupt and incompetant regime and tyranny of our feared and despised dictator, Atne Pavelic."

"For too long, I and others have watched our nation become an international pariah and an isolated nation, feared and hated by other nations for the senseless and delusional and destructive extremism of the Pavelic regime."


"While Atne Pavelic enjoys the upscale lifestyle, one that would normally befit a multi-billionaire CEO or a monarch, the people of Kravania are starving. We are afraid to walk are very own streets for while our nation tries to occupy another nation, our very own capital city is under the occupation of criminal gangs, drug dealers, violent youths who rule the streets. The security forces loyal to Pavelic have turned a blind eye to this and the suffering of our people, for they are only interested in enriching themselves and keeping their own power. The Fascist Party is now ridden with corruption and the Party has become the biggest criminal gang in Kravania."

"Let us throw this horrible legacy off and consign this dark episode of Kravania's history to the dustbin and let us embrace freedom for our people and peace with our fellow nations."

"You, the people of Kravania, are the future and you must now show your will to be free, rise up and destroy the evil tyranny of Atne Pavelic."

As Colonel Bachman finished his speech, his soldiers in the crown cheered and held up pro-democracy and anti-fascist/anti-Pavelic banners up.

The cameras then moved to focus on the crowd.

After that, the soldiers took the speech of Colonel Bachman to the TV station, now under their control. By 9 AM, TVs across Kravania were broadcasting the speech.

In the Carpathian Mountains, Atne Pavelic in his undergound base, had yet to hear of the uprising.

Kravania City

By 11 AM of the day of the coup, Kravania City looked like a warzone.

For those who could see the city skyline, the entire centre of the city, which included the business district and the government sector now had huge towers of black smoke coming from them.

Crazed mobs, armed with molotov cocktails and AK-47s stolen from Fascist Militia members the mobs had killed, stormed the Kravanian Stock Exchange, killing most of the brokers and traders who were still inside the builing, smashing the computers which displayed all of the market data and share prices and commodity prices.

After they left, they set it alight, leaving the building in flames and putting the Stock Market out of business, thus putting Kravania's economy on hold for the days to come.

By now dozens of Fascist Party builings were now on fire or had already been turned into rubble by the rebel army tanks gunfire.

All government ministry builings were either in rebel hands or were on flames.

Rebel jet fighters, F-18s, flew over the capital and fired their air to surface missiles at the last remaining building in the city under Pavelic's control, the Fascist Party HQ.

After half an hour of continual attack, the builing was no more and well over 2,000 Fascist Party loyalists and officials were killed in the attacks.

By 5 PM, the entire capital city was under Rebel control and other cities across Kravania now had unrest and street battles with Rebel and pro-Pavelic factions.

We get SRN. We see the riots in your streets. While I still wonder what drives a man to such extreme measures in the name of a religion, I respect that you worked to take power in your nation. That is lost now, but anyone who is smart enough to establish power in such a manner doesn't deserve to die because of how they exercise it.

The offer is simple: If you want out of your nation, McKagan will secretly take you from it and give you a home on McKagan territory where you'll be safe and able to communicate with anyone you feel the need to.

Peter Voran, the head of Kravania's National Security Service, read the letter sent to President Ante Pavelic by McKagan's President Robyn Cavalt.

He raised his eyebrows and was in a state of cunfusion as to why President Cavalt would sent this type of letter to President Pavelic.

He walked over to Pavelic's office and showed him the letter.

Pavelic looked up at Voran and spoke.

Pavelic: "What on earth is President Cavalt on! What does she mean by my power is lost and of these 'riots' in the cities of Kravania, what fucking riots. Im in control of the nation, what is she talking about!"

Voran: "I have no idea, Mr. President. So far, everything is normal, no unrest to report of. What do you want me to do?"

Pavelic: "Nothing, Ill reply to her myself."

How am I not in control of my nation and what are these riots you speak of, I know of no riots, despite the communication lines with Kravania City being down for the last few hours, the feedback we are getting from officials throughout Kravania is nothing but that of stability and calm.

Do you know of something I don't or have you been drinking too much, if so, don't bother me again when you have your drinking binges!

I am going to set up two small refugee camps in the chaos. I am going to provide citizens with the following. I will try to get neutral citizens.
Here is the package for guarding the two camps. Basically send in a bunch of officers with light arms and make an offer to set up camps. The officers will be dropped off using small stealthed submarines-- anti-sonar bubble jet system, radar refractive skin, etc. I hire guards for the camps and arm them with this package.

About half of the arms will "disappear into rebel hands". The other half will be used at the camps which leaves enough arms to support 6000 troops, 3000 troops at each camp. We are going to try and quietly cement an alliance in rebel territory.

There will also be 1200 Commonalitarianism marines with APCs, and 1200 heavy riot control police fully equipped. Dividing it evenly we have 600 Commonalitarian Marines at each camp and 600 heavy riot control police plus APCs with gas vents-- smoke or irritant gas, grenade launchers with tear gas, barrier foam grenades-- a kind of superfast drying superglue grenade, knockout gas, and either a water tank or frictionless gew hose.

Outside the camps will be "soup kitchen" vehicles-- basically soldiers handing out food and water with a few guarding the armored trucks. 25 of them at each camp. 10 soldiers per vehicle. 6 working, 4 guarding.

The camps should provide food, water, clothing, sanitation, shelter, and medicine. Each camp should handle 80,000 people for a total of 160,000 people. Also there will be earthworks with ramparts being built-- something for civilian volunteers as well as an outer fence with coiled razor wire around it and razor wire on top of it.

Once camps are set up, I start processing out the brightest I can get. Scientists, intellectuals, etc. I put out an advertisement for high caliber intellectuals to come to the camps in small medium papers if they are still functioning, also some of the best small technical and scientific journals. Boats and submersibles pick them up.

We are not interested in traditional high tech, but metallurgists, composite materials specialists, biochemists, chemists, geneticists, psychologists, automotive engineers, ocean engineers, transportation engineers, pharmacists, oceanographers, marine biologists, historians, etc.

With Kravania in chaos the planners and strategists at the Arizona Mountain Complex were in a frenzy. Not only did it mean that the chances that Kravania could invade The Lone Alliance had droped, but it was also a sign that they may be able to capture or kill Pavelic with minimal McKagan publicity to the international community.

With this chance luming in the background, the MIDD began to shift assets towards Kravania. Soon, a rank structure for a Task Force to eliminate Pavelic was formed. Task Force Edge was formed.

"I don't see why we shouldn't move nuclear assets to the area directly around Kravania. They used nuclear weapons against two nations, what's to say they wouldn't use them against us if we objected to something?" The man sitting on the guest end of the massive, elegant desk stated. On the other side General Sarton sat.

He commanded McKagan Strategic Command, the nations nuclear deterrant. Most of McKagan's nuclear forces were deployed in submarines, although the Strategic Bomber forces were making a comeback in popularity. He began to speak.

"I know. And the bad thing is that neither of those nations had the balls to bounce back with a major retaliatory strike. Kravania has owned the conflict so far. They decide when the terms escalate, and TLA hasn't done fuck to take control. We aren't like that. I'm giving the order now, move the 72nd Contraband Force to the area. If Kravania launches nuclear weapons towards McKagan we're glassing that whole fucking nation."

Within hours of the statement the Commanding Officers of 8 Contraband Class SSBN's had their orders.

The Contraband Class SSBN is a much smaller SSBN than those used by most nations. This allows it to be much more stealthy and much more efficient. That said, the units are also much harder to find when in dock by the prying eyes of a satellite or spyplane. Each submarine carrys 32 missiles. Each missile has six (6) 200 kiloton MIRV's.

It was simple: A nuclear attack on McKagan would be the last nuclear attack by Kravania.

Varna, Southern Kravania

Varna was Kravania's second largest city after the capital, with a population of 37 million people and Kravania's main coastal city, where the largest naval base was located.

It was also a city in chaos, rioters in the streets were burning down every shop they came across and every service, from hospitals, police stations, fire stations, schools, colleges and power stations were all closed and shut down.

Every picture of Pavelic that adorned a public space was torn down and either burnt or unirnated on by the enraged mobs. Statues of the dictator were toppled and all images associated with the Pavelic regime were being destroyed.

Those soldiers and elements in the army loyal to Pavelic fled the city to the surrounding countryside, to set camp their and await orders from the Kravanian Central Command.

The SSF units still in Varna were doing battle with the rebels and rioters, gunfights took place all over the city. Elsewhere, the SSF were killing civilians caught up in the crossfire en-masse.

Well over 13,000 people had already died in fighting and at the hands of the SSF death squads in Varna.

Varna became the second city to fall to the revolt against Pavelic.

Presidential Compound, Carpathian Mountains, Northern Kravania

Atne Pavelic was not taking the news of the military coup in Kravania City and the revolt in the rest of the nation well. For the last two hours, Pavelic sat in his office, alone, drinking heavily and knocking back large amounts of neat Courvoisier brandy.

Already drunk, he called in Peter Voran, head of the National Security Service and his chief advisor for internal and external security matters.

The NSS chief walked into his office and for a moment stopped to glance at Pavelic's drunken state. Then he sat down and started the meeting.

Voran: "Mr. President, what do you wish to do with this crisis?"

Pavelic: "I have heard that both Kravania City and Varna are under terrorist control. Fuck them and their fucking 'revolution'! You have orders to launch, without delay, 5 nuclear tipped Peacekeeper II ICBMs at Varna. Wipt the fucking city of the face of this fucking piece of shit planet!"

Voran: "Are you sure, I mean we could retake Varna with our SFF and the loyal elements in our army."

Pavelic: "Yes, Im fucking sure, don't try and talk me out of it. We need our troops and the SSF for mopping up duties against the terrorists when we crush the revolt and for the Lone Alliance invasion. Nuke Varna and then we deliver an ultimatum to the terrorists in Kravania City, that they surrender or be nuked themselves! I fucking know cowards like them will bow down to our will and our nuclear vengence."

Kravania

5 nuclear tipped Peacekeeper II ICBMs were fired from a missile silo base near the Presidential Compound and flew up into the sky.

They were now on their way to their target, the rebel controlled city of Varna.

"Sir, the madman is firing on his own fucking people!"

The shock in Task Force Edge was at an all time high, but it wasn't something totally unsuspected from someone like Pavelic.

"Ok, we can't engage this, but we can make sure we have the upperhand in any future battle. We were here watching this, we can find the missile bases they fired these from. We've got the database showing where all the missiles they fired at Willink and TLA came from. If we ever go to war with them we can have our bunker-busters take out a good 75% of their missile force while it's still in the ground." The Admiral commanding the Task Force said on the bridge of the Cruiser.

The Task Force watching issues in Kravania did little to try and stop the missiles, even though they didn't have the Cruiser in position to do so anyway, and simply allowed them to go to their target (which was easily determined.)

Varna

The ICBMs hit their target, facing no opposition due to the chaos in Varna knocking out all anti-ICBM defeces out of service.

A huge explosion, a combination of 5 nuclear warheads exploding in different parts of Varna, wiped the city of the face fo the Earth.

Death toll:

31 million dead.

On the outskirts of Kravania City, those sections of the Kravanian Armed Forces and SSF still loyal to the Pavelic government were regrouping and getting new supplies of troops and weapons from other parts of the nation.

So far, around 670,000 soldiers and 245,000 SSF troops were awaiting orders to take back the capital city and crush the rebels and the military coup.

Artillary shells armed with VX nerve gas warheads were being brought to the front line, for Pavelic ordered the capital city to be gassed.

Hi. I've been put in charge of watching the Kravanian Civil War. Did you know you're having a civil war in your nation? I don't know if you're intelligence agency is up to par with others, but a major city in your nation just disappeared and seems to have been replaced with a muchroom cloud. Did you do that? That wasn't very nice, if you did, y'know. So, are you feeling the pressure yet? You're in control of less than half your military and basically surrounded. Not to mention the fact that you're still in a war with Willink and The Lone Alliance; I'd say you're in some deep trouble.

Oh, and that Frigate is still waiting for you.

"Sir, intelligence reports state that remnants of Pavelic's loyalists are preparing to launch a chemical artillery strike on Kravania's capital," said the Secretary of State for Defense, Adam Danilus.

President Davidson looked over at him, shocked that someone could do this to his own people.

"Is there anyway we could stop them?"

After mulling it over for a second or two, Danilus replied, "There is one way. We might be able to send a few squadrons of Talons to knock out the artillery before it ever fires."

"How long would it take for some squadrons to reach the city?"

"We have a carrier task force about 200 km outside of Kravania. If they use their PDEs, they might be able to get there in about one hour."

"Do it. And send three squadrons."

"Yes, sir."

"Also... Send out our SSBNs, just in case."

Official Communique of the Government of the Fascist Republic of Kravania

The Fascist Republic of Kravania will not tolerate the vile attempts by outside powers to aid the evil terrorist gangsters who dare betray our great nation and the brave war effort of the Kravanian Armed Forces in their anti-communist crusade against the Lone Alliance and Willink.

Kravania will clarify to the world, that under the strict orders of President for Life Atne Pavelic, the Kravanian Armed Forces destroyed the city of Varna with five nuclear ICBMs.

Altistan has shown itself to be a vile nation of terrorist supporters and gangsters, who have sold themselves to the global communist conspiracy.

McKagan, in it's attempts to coerce President for Life Atne Pavelic, into exile, have shown that they too wish to see the downfall of the Kravanian government and the Fascist State.

Following the declaration of war against McKagan and Altistan, President Pavelic gave the orders for a full scale nuclear attack on those two nations.

400 nulear tipped Peacekeeper II ICBMs were fired from their silos and began their journey to their respective targets. half of the ICBMs were on their way to McKagan and the other half to Altistan.

"THAT BASTARD!!!," remarked President Davidson upon recieving the telegram. "How dare he declare war our nation!!!"

"What do you propose we do, sir?" asked the Vice-President.

"First off, I want Robert to dash off a telegram to McKagan suggesting that we form an alliance to take down Pavelic. Also, ask them about any missile silos that they know the locations of."

"Second, I want STRATCOM brought up to DEFCON 1, the missile defenses at DEFCON 2, Navy and Air Force at DEFCON 3, and the Marine Corps at DEFCON 4."

"Sir, asked a shocked Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, "are you suggesting that we send nukes against Kravania?"

"That's correct, Chairman. But only one Trident D4 against the missile site that launched those Peacekeepers earlier."

"All right, then.

"Okay, gentlemen, let's move like we have a purpose," said the President to the men assembled in the room.

As the Secretary of State for External Affairs ran off to type the telegram, the Chairman came back with the nuclear football containing the lauch codes.

"Before I can relay the launch, I require an ID check.

The President pulled out a small index card which had 10 8-number groups on it.

"President Andrew Davidson, second from top."

The Chairman swiped the card to verify his identity.

"Under the two-man rule, I require a verification from someone on the approved list."

"Adam Danilus, Secretary of State for Defense."

The Chairman did the same, and finally said, "The launch sequence will take about a minute to process."

The President nodded.

Northern Kravania

Following the declaration of war against McKagan and Altistan, President Pavelic gave the orders for a full scale nuclear attack on those two nations.

OOC: That's kind of n00bish. A country or your size would not fire 400 nuclear weapons; it would use them on occasion if at all. I would suggest learning to play by the rules.

"They've launched against us!!" someone shouted out.

"All right, gentlemen. Remember, we have about 400 Patriot missile batteries spread across the country, and we should be able to take out most of the ICBMs." said the commander.

"Now, I want all batteries firing at full capacity. 400 batteries times 8 interceptors per battery equals... 3200 interceptors, divided by 200 equals...

The IMAF Colonel who was tasked with monitering Kravania burst through the doors of the Presidential Office and began talking. "They've got roughly 200 missiles headed here. They're old American designs and of no real number to pose a threat. Another major goal we've got is that the naval task force between here and there has heavy anti-missile technology, plus we have DEFIANT, whatever cruisers are between here and Kravania that are NOT part of the task force, and then continental defenses. Nothing will get through, but that doesn't neglect the fact that they launched nuclear weapons at McKagan."

Robyn Cavalt was furious the moment she heard "they've launched nuclear weapons."

"It's on now. Put Operation: Chinese Democracy in place for Kravania. We've got SSBN's off their coast, right? Take those fuckers DOWN. This isn't tolerable. That stupid mother fucker has attacked TLA and Willink and no one did anything. We're destroying them. Shift the entier SSBN network to Kravania and fire every nuclear tipped missile we have in range into that country. I don't care if it's ugly warfare, an economic waste, or just bad politics. We're taking Kravania out of the picture, NOW!

The 8 Contraband Class SSBN's that were moved as part of the contingency plan all unloaded their missile silos. Each vessel had 32 missiles, each missile had 6 MIRV's. Because of the simple math involved, this equalled a total of 1536 weapons being launched. All were 200 Kiloton Thermonuclear Devices. They targeted every missile base in Kravania. Every naval, air force, army, or Special Forces base that was left standing had a group of missiles assigned to it. Not only that, but industrial zones are targeted as well. Despite the fact that some of the missiles were shot down, the ratio of missiles to bases was extremly in the missiles favor. It would be nearly impossible to save a specific target. To prevent massive civilian casulties, however, nearly 400 of the missiles are set to airburst over the nation to cause a MASSIVE EMP blast.

Futhermore, 20 KLA-45 Strategic Bombers are launched from covert McKagan air bases. It's a small number of bombers designed for maximum stealth. During the attack there's a good chance that the Kravanian Air-Search-RADAR stations will be busy watching missiles (the ones that survive the massive missile attack.) The KLA-45's will simply roll in and eliminate anything left mobile.

The attacks on the nations of Altistan and McKagan sickening. New Ausha is already at war with you, but due to your crimes aginst humanity, and these attacks, New Ausha must make a statement. These attacks are justified. The nation of Kravania has the right to retaliate, however they see fit. We have launched several anti ICBm interception missles, some succesfull, others not, but New Ausha stands firm on the side of the Lone Alliance.

General! Yes sir? I want you to blow the hell out of those counter-revolutionary forces? Dont let them retake that goddam city! Yes sir.

New Aushan bombers flew overhead, dropping thousands of tons of high explosive bombs, on the Kravanian forces. Quick Apache assault helicopters pounded the incoming armored vehicles, while long range artillery struck at the advancing infantry colums. Jets provided thier laser guided bombs to eliminate the rest. A great deal of damage was done. New Aushan planes were also able to drop parachuter equiped crates full of small arms, grenades and other assorted weapons, at designated revolutionary dropoints. This was an attempt to arm the rebels.

For the past hour, the people inside the complex had been watching missiles and interceptors crashing into each other and blowing up like fireworks.

Finally, as the last of the explosions died away, the commander looked around and said to one of his subordinates:

"Do we know how many missiles are left?"

One of them replied, "Reports state maybe 75-100."

"Good. Fire the second wave of interceptors."

As the orders were given, and the Patriot batteries fired another round of interceptors at the remaining targets, the commander looked around and prayed that no ICBMs would get through.

Of the 200 missiles targeted at McKagan, nearly half drop shortly after leaving the nation via the McKagan Cruisers with their anti-missile systems firing ASAT's into space.

McKagan's top secret missile defense unit was soon to be put to the test, as well. Against such a small number of missiles for what it was designed to fight DEFIANT was able to stop nearly 75 more missiles.

With twenty five missiles left and a short time between where they were and McKagan Airspace, a few McKagan cruisers snapped off missiles. But by the time the missiles were already at an ungodly speed and almost impossible to shoot down. Nine missiles were quickly killed and fell into the ocean.

McKagan's continental forces soon came online. Firing missiles up, four more missiles crashed down. The last line of defense was Lu-27 Condor Interceptor's. Nearly the entier force of them was launched. Armed with missiles designed to take down satellites in orbit, they set up a firing line. Simply unloading their missiles, all but 2 warheads were downed. Both of those missiles had been near the rear of the "formation" and took shrapnel damage. This was the saving grace of McKagan on this day. One missile, which had Kurora's name all over it, didn't begin to descend for several more seconds. This caused the missile to vastly over shoot and crash into the ocean. By the time it detonated the nation was already aware of the attacks so the low laying areas were evacuated. The single remaining missile, the most effective one decended too early. It's target had apparently been a mid sized McKagan city. Because of its targeting error the missile crashed into an island used for farming off the mainland. There were talks and rumors of a naval base being built there, but there were no great concentration of personnel there. Regardless, the entier population of the island (roughly 9000 people) were instantly killed.

President Cavalt begins to prepare to address the world, even though it'll be a few hours.

After thinking for a moment, President Davidson replied, "Only launch 50 Tridents, and aim the warheads at the silos that fired the 400 ICBMs. I'll let McKagan do the indiscriminate killing of civilians."

Soon enough, the order for firing the missiles was repeated, and a few minutes after that, the 50 missiles rocketed out of the SSBNs, headed for the missile silos.

Some leaders may feel our retaliatory strike is a bit far and undiscriminate in the number of civilians it will kill. Do not worry, however. MSC has strict orders to airburst 500 of the warheads in the atmosphere above the nation. This will cause a massive EMP field that will knock out nearly every piece of electronic hardware in the nation. Please, though, do not engage our missiles. This is a show of force, for the most part, and it would be better if they didn't start falling out of the sky.

The second wave of interceptors had managed to take out almost all of the incoming ICBMs. However, two missiles remained. All that Altistan could do now was pray that no major damage would be done.

The first incoming, due to its aged guidance system, overshot and landed in the ocean, never to be seen again.

The second incoming, however, while missing its intended target, did manage to take out a small suburb of the capital, Annapolis. 50,000 people were killed instantly by the blast.

The screen pans off from red and white letters with things like "Breaking News - Nuclear Assault" and switch to a desk with the McKagan flag standing beside it. The backdrop is that of a decorative fireplace. All has been set. This won't be a sloppy message: It's well organized and prepared electronically. The video feed is bounced between various McKagan servers before being sent to SRN, so its position isn't able to be tracked. After nearly 15 seconds of waiting, looking at an empty desk, President Robyn Cavalt takes a seat, walking on screen from the right.

"Hello citizens of McKagan, and the world. Tonight many of you are no doubt scared, confused, and angry. Despite the rumors that are circulating throughout media streams, I will level the entier truth of the situation with you.

Several hours ago the President of Kravania made a press release stating that McKagan, along with a group of other non related nations, were planning to overthrow him.

At the same time, in the same message, he stated that McKagan was offering him exile. Not only is this highly contradicting, but it is against the very nature of McKagan's liberal, freedom loving democratic people to do this. It is without question that both of these allegations are pure, one hundred percent lies.

Regardless, I am proud to say that the great forces of McKagan's Armed Services defeated this attack almost completely. However, this blatantly genocidal action did kill nine thousand, one hundred and thirty McKagan citizens. This isn't acceptable.

That given aside, it is at this time I have the terrible news of the countermeasures this nation has undertaken. As of 1920 McKagan City Time, McKagan forces launched a full scale nuclear retaliation against the nation of Kravania. Despite what some foreign media or leaders may have you believe in the future; these attacks only targeted military facilities. It is a given that they will have killed a great number of civilians; but that is a grim fact of war. Among the targets are airports, missile sites, and industrial complexes.

Without an attack of this magnitude on our part the Kravanian War Machine would be allowed to launch more nuclear attacks upon innocent people. This cannot, and will not, be allowed.

It is with great heartache and anger that I am forced to present the nation, and the world, with a senate approved Declaration of War on the nation of Kravania. Our mission is simple: We will bring the Pavelic Dictorial Regime to justice in a McKagan court, install a democratic government in Kravania, and leave the nation. It's a stablize and retreat objective. This is only the third time in McKagan's history a formal declaration of war has been presented. McKagan has been victorious in each and every conflict, and this one will be no different. There will be difficulties and hardships, but we will not be distracted from our goal. Several destroyer wings are re'routed as well as a massive ASW force of Frigates. I'd like to point out that the "Kravanian Conflict" thread is for the McKagan/Altistan Invasion/Counter Attack's on Kravania. The TLA war is a separate RP especially now that McKagan is going directly after Kravania and not using any of its vast assets to defend the TLA homeland.

This thread isn't in use anymore - you should transfer that post to the new thread that I linked to above.
