Are you looking for excitement and adventure? Are you bored with your job?

Do you have a background in the military or law enforcement?

If you do, the International Contract Agency could be the thing for you! With the ICA, you get all the excitement of jetting around the world and being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars. For what, you ask? All you have to do is kill people. If you regularly use a firearm, this could be the thing for you.

If you are interested, apply at ICAnet://ica.recruit.internal. Send our recruitment office your qualifications, along with your firearm's dope book entries for the last five months.

[I'm aiming on using the ICA as a way of organising assassinations of national figures, without incriminating any nation. Sending assassins could be a valuable source of income. Every life your recruitstake, is another soldier for your military, or a load of antiretrovirals for your hospitals...]

Hello,
What is the pay? We have conscription for all of our citizens and an army of over 12 million people. How much would we get for this. All citizens have three years military service. Willing citizens would contract out through Ming Commercial House, RFS-- Registered Family Syndicate. We could easily get about 10,000 soldier of fortune types in a population of 120 Million.

Sincerely

Ming Lo,
Ming Commercial House, RFS-- Registered Family Syndicate.

Each job a 'consultant' does is worth around $100,000 dollars, but can go into the millions depending on the target of the contract. The Agency is looking for the best operatives, skilled at working alone and in teams, with or without firearms. The pay increases according to the number of successful jobs.

From the nation of Franberry,

We have several Black Guard regiments, who havent been on a "peacekeeping" assingment in a long time, our entire armed forces is set a 7 million, due to the fact that we have 360+ million people. If there is an assingment, just say how many you need.

Each assignment should need no more than three operatives, and usually will only need one. The Agency is looking for operatives to be ready for call-up at any time, to be added to a list for quick reference by Agency handlers.

To clarify, the agency is NOT looking for entire military detatchments. The Agency handles high-profile hits, not private armies.

How many would you require? (in a usual team, how many teams)

It is obvious an explanation is required as to the workings of the Agency.

The Agency hires and trains private individuals or soldiers volunteered by governments, and maintains them as 'reservists'. They will stay in their country of origin, and carry on with their day job. If a contract is taken out in the region in which they are stationed and they successfully carry it out, they (or the government that volunteered them) gets money for the contract. The Agency manages contracts, and for that takes a 5% cut of contract money.

If there are no 'reservists' in a region in which a contract is taken out, a sufficiently skilled reservist is moved into the area of the contract (expenses paid by the Agency).

In that case, we have plenty of individuals who can be volunteered

Ave Carnifex,

A little bird told me that you're in the business of pest removal. It so happens that I, also, dabble in this field. I generally don't do subcontracts except for friends, but there's a suprising dearth of rats and roaches around here of late. Seeing as you seem to have a good deal on your hands, perhaps I could take up a bit of the slack for you? Feel free to contact me at this address, I personally made sure that there aren't any roaches around.

Yours,
Coatl

The ICA will be willing to offer you the standard $10,000 per year base rate (negotiable), and preferred status for contracts in your region, in addition to an expert law team should you be caught, plus bail. You would naturally be offered training in armed and unarmed styles of your choice.

Ave Carnifex,

I'm crushed. Given my experience on the job, ten thousand a year seems a bit low, does it not? Of course, this may not be the case if the roaches are big enough. Say, five hundred a bug, base? As for the exterminator training, please don't insult me. There are over a hundred thousand ways to kill one an insect, I know all of them, and have probably tried about half of them by now. If you need references, I'd suggest talking to the former leadership of Ceyolia, before the coup a few years back.

Yours,
Coatl

$10,000 is a base rate for all reservists. This is just to make sure our reservists don't starve before we can use them. Generally, for someone of your experience (if you are to be believed), fees per 'pest' can approach the million mark.

OOC: If you need proof, ask Halberdgardia. I actually beat him in a competetive assassination RP (I got somewhere around 11 of the targets, he got about 8, I think). I'll see if I can dig up the thread.
