Infomation of the Necromonger
The Necromongers seem to reproduce by conversion. We know that they have an institution of marriage, but this may be simply a vestigial custom from an earlier stage of their evolution. It is unknown whether they are capable of reproducing in the normal manner. The Necromongers seem to have achieved gender equality, but it is interesting that we seem to see very few Necromonger females at all. Then again, most of the Necromongers that we do see are in heavy battle armor that would make sex differentiation difficult. Generally Necromonger society appears to be a meritocratic dictatorship, although there is at one point mention of a dynasty. Given the Necromonger reproductive process the word dynasty probably has a different meaning to them than it would to us.The Underverse is both the afterlife of the Necromongers and the ultimate destination of their journey. Entrance to the Underverse is restricted to those who follow the Necromonger religion. There also seems to be a concept of each person having an appointed time of death in their cosmology, and if a person is killed for heresy (the criteria for this is never explicitly given) he will not pass on to the Underverse. The Grand Marshal is supposed to have seen the Underverse, and his divine status at least partially derives from this. It is unknown whether he saw the Underverse in a vision or actually traveled there . It does not seem to be an initial requirement for the office, as per the Necromogner law that dictates "you keep what you kill".
