":: ~ Forgive the interruption, but this has just come in from the Royal Palace Foreugn Advisory. Put it mildly, even I am suprised with this one.

At 0200 hours today, the Ascendancy entered into a long term agreement with the powers of Intracell and Hell Core, with oversight from the apparent Elder Powers from outside dimensional entities, for a cease fire of active hostilities for the next fifty years at least. Details include the treaty can be extended for another twenty-five years if any side wishes so, and there is reason to believe the treaty will be extended.

In return, the apparently named Treaty of Tranella-Rei, named for a point in the Archonis Supercluster Void where negotiations concluded over a several day period. The Treaty also stipulates that the celestial sides are allowed to claim areas of the Alphaverse Universal Sector for their own bases during the same time period. There will also be Elder Powers present to enforce the Treaty, so as to prevent the large scale conflict that has ravaged the universe as of recent years. *Images play across of several major Heaven vs. Hell battles that have raged over the course of two NS years*

Experts predict that this Treaty is in response to the primarily Heaven and Infernal force deployments being severely expended, to the point both sides could not sustain regenerative abilities and redeployment at the rate the war was progressing. In essence, all sides are exhausted, and with the numbers seen from boths sides in unclassified reports of the war, the numbers are beyond staggering.

In any event, the Sphere is finally going to see it's first real peace in over fourty years, as word comes that the Ascendancy Lord Excellency will be holding a press conference later this evening, as well as sending anccilitory messages of thanks to it's Alphaverse allies and former enemies of the intention of the Ascendancy to cease all major operations, save one, which was agreed to by all sides and will be discussed at a later date.

Again, breaking news is that the Ascendancy has entered into a Treaty to preserve a period of peace for as long as three quarters of a century in length. No Heaven of Infernal forces on any level will act directly during this time, and Sphere forces will not act against any celestial side for the time being. The Excellency will speak further at a press conference later this evening to both Sphere and external nations to discuss. ~ ::

".....and I wanted to give promise to my citizen souls, who have followed my word and beliefs, not always with absolute unity, but many a time with dedication and trust that I honor by the path we are taking as of this day.

I know it seems hard to believe, that we could suddenly enter agreements with enemies that should hold no ability to do the same. But it comes reality full circle, that this is not the celestial patriarchs. Our level is limited for reasons not seen in the Celestial Planes, and mortaility is as limited, even with extended lifelines and powers replete in miracles.

Those limitations prevent evolution from overencompassing those that are not ready for the next steps. It also is a bulkwark against the all powerful from remaining eternally so when exposed to our space. The Angels and Infernals, after a long enough exposure 'away' from their home spaces, are becoming limited in every concievable way. When battles of their scale which we have shared in, encompass millions of resource assets, fleets and soldier alike, the expenditures on our limited level end up taking too much toll.

I will admit I was as suprised as any that the essentially limitless powers above could afflicted so, and the offer for the cease fire as well.

To not take the offer, when the war obviously has been forced on all, more than anyone involved anticipated, would be utterly foolish. We've has enough measure of blood lost, resurrected, and lost more. The cylce needs an end point."

The Lord Excellency, speaking across his Office desk, the outside scenery off the left visible from the overlook, where night sky shows the now age old scene of merged galaxies dominating the starscape beyond the Homeworld. No flags or patriotic emblems adorn, instead, a reverant scene of a leader speaking plainly to all that would listen.

"Tonight, the war for at least seventy-five years, fifty it may seem from what you have heard, but assure ye all I will enforce the maximum, of not longer, all is over. It may be a Cease Fire declaration, but after nearly fifty total years of war, not including the wars prior whence we once called ourselves truly mortal, we deserve a real peace.

All military assets, and our resources, will no longer be used for active war for the time being. At least not on the scale we have endured. There will be 'smaller' scale wars to endure, but we would do them on our own recourse, and not in the face of utter annihalation.

My citizens, you deserve peace. The oppritunities for what lies in said state is yours to make. And to our mortal allies and nations that have decided to listen to this message, I offer a chance to focus on your auspices alone, and not to aid us. A friendly state will be extended to all nations that we contact with, regardless of past history, moreso than any other said word mentioned before now.

We've seen the eye of the worst, and the miraculous, and fear of further hatreds will not deter us from our original goals, now returned from ones added upon by the Accordance.

We will begin all out exploration and diplomacy missions, and engage in full activity with the rest of the Alphaverse, to gain friendships and peace as never before. The strength in unity, is our just goal. We one had an existence like this, when we were far lesser a nation, one we do not forget our place from.

From that, the path we take will hope to have others stand with us."

Aleaic leans back, knowing that besides the holocameras and sounding nodes pointed at him, are the eyes of several of his family, of both his parentage, and of his own progeny. Those called family-friend, not of blood, but just as cherished, watch as well. He changes tone to a warning next.

"I however, 'do' inform that the war that ended, is not complete. One day, we will return to war outright, and one without a garrauntee of hope. We will rebuild, grow, and prosper. But so will the Angels and Infernals. When the day comes, the Eternal War will begin again. Our task then, is to cherish the time we are given.

And also prepare behind the scenes. My fellow citizen souls, that is my order for the time being. At least for one full year, no major combat will occur, and we will simply be pacifist in nature, as much as circumstance allows.

We 'have' to enjoy this time. We are owed. My people, I bid thee good evening."

At that moment, something unique is begun. Aleaic leans forward and addresses anew. "I will take questions from any source. Both from within the Sphere, and also from any external nation listening on. Resources have been setup to do just this, from any point in the Alphaverse.

So... ask me anything. Decent in focus at least."

Aleaic now waits.

Aleaic listened to the reply and responded susccinctly.

"Well, to our honored allies of the TSR, our honored thanks for your assistance in the war. The response is reward here, depending on the point of view.

We intend to refresh our peacekeeping efforts for once, including exploration, increased trade, and advancements in all possible endeavors, which our demonstrated history of prolific sharing of results will see more of the same for our many friends.

Forgive the progogandistic tone, but for us, a period of peace is a treasure for us, and the work that will go into preserving this chance is where many results come from. Trust us, they will come."

Aleaic sighs and adds. "Another... reward... may be more tenuous to the mind to accept. For us, the time period that will pass, will be shorter than we would like. Those of the ability of extended lifespans will realizes as much as I how short a time we really have.

Those that don't yet, will see the reward of no war between the archpillars of the ascended realms, for at least several generations. It may.... indeed... be those than aren't even alive among the many worlds in the universe, that next see the war renew itself.

The benefit for now, is to have an ally of us, at total peace, within reason of events between nations. Obviously we will defend ourselves if called for, but the total wars we've endured of late, along side our allies in D3 Dimension, are no longer here for the time being."
