Brian Westwood was a simple man. He was a miner from the Yellow Mountains, like most others from his state of Omanli, and, like many others, had dreams of one day striking it rich. Brian walked into the Jamison Mining Company, where he was making a pitiful $11.45 and hour for back breaking labor. It was lunch time, so he decided to go find his buddies William Thatcher and James Ivring. Brian and the boys sat down. "Yo Billy, what your wife pack ya?" he said, while staring at his discusting beef jerky, swiss, and mustard sandwich. "Nothing much. This gross bannana and some warm yogurt. What about you Jimmy?" he replied. "Well, I got this pilsner, a nice steak, pepper, and cheese hogie, and this DELICIOUS leftover leftover lobster and clam roll from last night."
"Holy Crap!" Brian said with suprise. "How do you afford that? I mean, you make the same amount as me and Jimmy here." "Yeah, this wasn't that farm crap from Emerson either. Me and Bonnie took a trip down to the Great Orani Estuary yesterday in the boat. Got us a boatload of crabs too." Billy said. "Dude, thats not right. Is there something you haven't told us?" Jimmy said. "Well boys, have you ever been, lets say, out of town?"
That Night.
"WOOO HOOO! WE GONNA GET US SOME GOLD TONIGHT!" Jimmy, Brian, and Billy were piled into his brand new pick up with their "borrowed" mining equipment. As they headed up Route 93, cocked like there was no tommorow, they passed a sign that read 'Welcome to Asbena!' "Dude, no border patrol or nothing?" "Nope" said Billy. "Them college kids in Tiber figure those religous wackos up here aren't smart enough to get over here anyways. There entire military is made of go carts and SUVs!" "Sweet!"
They headed up a back road, and found them selves near the entrance of a very large mine, with a ton of equipment outside. "Whoa! I wish we had this stuff!"Brian said. They piled out of the pickup, and took out the equipment. Jimmy looked puzzled. "Dinomite? Why dinomite?" "Quicker of course!" Billy replied. They headed down into the tunnel, where they quickly found themselves in a glittering cavern. "Ok, heres how it works. Put the dinomite in, run away!" Billy said with a distinct drunken accent. They put the dinomite down, while Jimmy lit the fuse. "Jimmy you idiot! We're supposed to be out of here before we lite it!" The fuse ran out.

Friar Homam had a brief announcement on TV about the incident which was broadcast in Asbena.

"It appears that late last night, some heathens decided to shut down a part of our mining operation for quartz and angelstones. They however were punished by the good lord by their own evil. We do not know who these people are or wear they came from, but it appears as if they were foreigners of the Florintine nation which had crossed into Asbena to do this. The Lord in Heaven has done good and was their judge, jury and executioner. Praise the lord!"

The television skipped on to the weather of Asbena, which would be chilly today with a soft wind...

"What happened today?" President Kastleton was sitting in his office, with his political advisors surrounding him. "Well Mr President, it appears that a couple of drunk Omanli miners, um, stumbled, on an Asbenian mine a couple miles north of Jamison City. They brought dynomite, and blew up a cavern."
"So, whats the problem?" the President said, while putting on his minature green.
"It appears that they actually weren't in Asbena. According to this map, circa 1742, that the border between us and Asbena extends completly along the Ronli River, and does not continue west as current maps show."
"And......"
"And that means it belongs to us. We need that area, it is full of precious stones, which would help our economic situation, and with such easy access to the Ronli.." She was interuppted by Kastleton.
"Good point. Prepare a statement to Asbena, and tell them to get off our land!"

Official Transmission from the Allied States of Florintine
We, the people of Florintine, would like to inform you, the Nation of Asbena, that you are occupieng Florintine territory. This area, between the Ronli River and us, has been in our possesion since the 1700's. We would like to peacefully ask you to leave the area at once, and we will reimburse all property values at full Asbena market price.

President Kastleton

Friar Homam sent a telegram:

"It is clearly our territory, our people have been working the land and living on it since that time period. Your arguement is as pathetic as UK suddenly asking the United States to return to being ruled by the queen because an old map says so! We are in this land now, and that's how it will stay. Peace be with you."

At the end of the letter was picture of a monk praying which had a caption under it, "The only perfect being is God". Seeming to taunt President Kastleton for his sudden demand to make the Asbenian people leave their homes for money.

The Presidents Advisors were still standing around him when the message was recieved.
"I don't think there buying it." Kastleton said. "Maybe if we produce more documents?"
"No Mr. President, that will definatly not work. They seem convinced that it is infact there land, and really it is, considering we have confirmed the nations boundries for centuries." one of them said.
"Well, I guess we are in quite a pickle here, aren't we? Either admit we're wrong, and face humiliation in the public eye, or prove we are right, and tick off an obvioiusly dangerous nation." He thought for a moment, whether he was concentrating on his putt or thinking about the crisis at hand is a mystery, and then spoke.
"Hell, I'm bored. Lets get 'em!"

Official Transmission from the Allied States of Florintine
The Allied States of Florintine, while haveing confirmed these borders in the past, have changed our decision on the subject. As of today, The Allied States of Florintine have extended the borders to the edge of the Ronli River. Any Asbenian found withen these borders who can not prove they are on buisness, visiting, or a resident of Florintine will face prosecution in a court of law. Furthermore, the Allied States will be sending federal military personel alongside their Omanli militia counterparts. Any military action by the nation of Asbena will be dealt with swiftly.

Friar Homam who was Regent of that province decided to make it very clear his people would not leave. He called an assembly in the head of the village 100 miles north of the border, the town of Wethersburg.

"My people! Those Florintine's are trying to steal OUR land! They have respected our right to this territory for many centuries, and only after learning of the sweat and blood gone into the mines and the value that we scraped from the earth, they demand it back! Let's make it clear we will not be moved!" yelled Friar Homam from the top of the stage.

A kind old priest, with a big grin on his face appears from the streets and waves.

"Friar Homam that was wonderful!"

Homam bowed as the people cheered their Regent on.

"You heard him, defend your homeland! God wills it!"

Later that night the border was teeming with life, lights from headlights and the sounds of cars sped up and down, a few bursts of wild gunfire was set off, but no real violence....for now.

Asbenian-Florintine Border
A RQ-1 Predators flew over the border. The small UAV was taking pictures of the action, silently of course. It flew over the hills, in the valleys, and even at the border checkpoints. It sent the pictures back to the forward base.

Forward Base
10 Miles from Border
"Sir, you better look at this." A soldier handed General Ursaft a folder.
He looked through them, his eyes widening.
"What is this? Are they fighting with Fords? Crappy trucks anyways. This is interesting, really interesting. A national militia fighting with modified civilion vehicles. Wow, theres hundreds of them! Well, its obvious we can't attack them head on, they got us beat on speed. But in the hills, thats where the battles at. Soldier, have two companies head over the hills in SUSV's and wait there until our orders. Also, have a company in HMMWV's head on the backroads, and see if they can't sneak over the border."
"Yes sir!"

5:00 PM
Hillzgrove Ridge
Three Miles From Border
A low rumble sounded across the hills as an SUSV filled with a squad of Florintine Infantrymen came over the top of the ridge. This squad was one of the ones waiting in the hills, waiting for the Asbenians to attack. The SUSV stopped at the top of a hill, and one soldier got out. Several followed.
"What a crappy place" he said. "Ahh shut up. Just because you're from Cammerecci doesn't mean you can't appreciate the hills Johnson."
"Well at least it doesn't snow where I live. Look at this crap. Its soo cold too."
They got over to the back vehicle and started unloading their equipment. Johnson checked over his .50 caliber. Perfect. Now all they had to do was wait.

4:00 A.M.
Georg Mine Outskirts
One Mile from the Border
The HMMWV's stopped for a moment. They had to let one of the men go out ahead to check for the Asbenians every now and then. The fastest one in the squad, Harry, went to go see what was up ahead. He came back, out of breath and scared.
"Theres at least 10 trucks up ahead. We should stay at the mine and set up base. There trucks might be armored, but I'm sure they can't stand up to our AT4's."
"Yea, you're probally right rookie. Turn it around." They drove back down the road, hid the hummers, and set up a defense made of sandbags as they waited for the call, just waited.

The PUM stayed quiet through the night. Althought no one saw anything, but a slight variation in height of the ground was visible near the outskirts of the border patrols. Namely a 5ft increase in elevation along a stretch of the border...for about 5 miles with these long chains of bumps.
-------------

In the city the caves were filled with vehicles and the towns were cleared out, though satellite pictures and UAV's would be unable to notice directly. The Asbenian People's Underground Militia were planning something.

The chance of the their movements being seen by the military was low, since the military doesn't know the Asbenian tactics or has fought against an enemy as almost non-hostile as this before.

Tree Hill Gravel Pit
One Mile from the Border
Another pair of HMMWV's tore through the country side. They raced through the gravel pit, finally stopping around the center pile. One of the soldiers got out and looked into the distance.
"Theres not much going on. Maybe the intel was faulty?"
"Probally." the driver said. "Lets just go over the border. I mean, thats what we were sent here for."
The soldier got back in, and they drove back onto the road. They sped passed the border, and ended up in a town not a quarter mile past the border. They stopped on the outskirts and looked around.
"Wow, this is REALLY quiet. Like that twilight zone episode quiet. Where'd everyone go?"
"I don't know, but it doesn't look good. Come on, lets start the sweep of the town at the church."
They walked down the streets, on seperate sides of the streets, checking the buildings as they past. The specialty soldiers, the ones with the .50 caliber sniper rifles and AT4's hid along the forest. The soldiers got to the church.
They found the outside basement door, and opened it up.

"Father....they are here" Said a civilian.

A pious man approached the soldiers, completely unafraid.

"Why...what is this land worth fighting over? Do you not know the suffering we went through to make it our home?"
Florintine

"Look its a preacher guy!" one of the soldiers said.
The priest began to walk up the stairs, and said something about this land not worth fighting for.
"Dude, what are you talking about. You know what you got under these hills? Gold. Platnum. Iron. Titanium. Uranium. Everything. Besides, this land belongs to us, not you guys. Hey Tony, go take the priest to the hummer, we'll have to take him prisoner. Tony pushed the priest in the direction of the squad, and the other soldiers walked down into the basement, firearms ready.

The priest turned and smiled, resisting them.

"Oh no my children, you do not understand...I will not go. This is my home!" he said, with a big grin on his face still. "DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" he said as he pulled out a machine gun and pointed it at the soldiers.

The snipers were of course watching all of this. As the priest pulled out his machine gun, they got him in their sites. BANG! One soldier pulled the trigger.

17-02-2006, 05:39
The priest fell down, just as he started shooting, the gun went automatic, spraying the soldiers with AP bullets at close range. The priest was hit in the chest, causing his body to tighten up, unable to move from the pain.

"Do....you...under...." he said as he slipped into unconsicousness, his gun still firing wildly, bullets bouncing off the floor and raining bullets down on the soldiers from all sides.

The civilians rushed in and pulled out their Ak-47's and pistols, but the surprise of their priest lying on the ground, slowly dying was enough to make the weaker of the crowd scream in terror. The girls heard the screams from the basement and readied to defend themselves if the soldiers had indeed attacked the men who had gone to defend the priest.

17-02-2006, 05:47
The priests AP rounds struck four of the nine men there, two of which died on the spot. As the crowd spilled out of the church, the surviving men dragged the wounded to the other side of the church where they began to regroup.
"Ok, Jake, do you see that stonewall? You and John jump over, and get them in your sights. Don't start shooting you're XM8's until after we start shooting them with our M4's. Go!"
The suppression team made there way around the church, being careful not to be seen. As they got to the side where the preist was shot, they jumped over another stone wall. The three men started fireing there SMG's at the crowd, and not long after they did, so did the kill team with there XM8's.

17-02-2006, 14:39
All the fighting and gunfire had caused the town to awaken. As the men hid behind the stone walls of the church, huddling near a statue of the holy mother, they heard soft engines in the background through the spikes of gunfire.

From all over town, 5 brave trucks and their drives + 2 gunners slowly approached the church. Almost at the exact same time the gatling guns, mounted on the top of the toyota trucks opened fire on the troops from behind, sending a wave of bullets at them.

"They will suffer!" yelled one truck driver as he flipped a switch and two duel .50 caliber machine guns unloaded round after round at the building, unable to aim, his shots would just add to the confusion, while the gatling gunner targeted the troops.

The civilians heard the intense sound and whir of the gatling gun and stay hidden behind the statue, afraid to be killed by friendly fire. The intense gunfire lasted only a few seconds, before it stopped. Either all the troops had been killed or had hidden for cover (if not the ones targeted immediately by the gunners). The were nervous to check, but one young by moved slowly and stealthy up the stairs to check it out firsthand, with a shakey hand on his AK-47...

18-02-2006, 14:57
As the trucks lumbered toward the church, the soldiers turned around. As they fired at the trucks in a last ditch effort, they were hit by an overwelming spray of bullets, and died. Meanwhile, the group outside of town was watching. As the trucks headed towards the soldiers, the group fired its AT4 and began to lob morter shells at the church. The HMMWV's loaded up with the .50 caliber machine gunner and the .50 caliber sniper, and began to circle the town, hoping to get a shot off on the Asbenians. As all this was happening, the soldiers inside began to call for help, hoping to get the HMMWV's at the Georg mine, and maybe even forward base to call in reinforcements.
Asbena
18-02-2006, 17:04
The trucks spun out a little as they pulled away, twin gatling guns firing at the humvee's the AP rounds would surely smash the 2 inch thick protective glass on the humvee, the Asbenian's tried to spray the cabins with as much rounds as possible, hoping to kill the driver and the occupants for recapture.

Though one truck just used the TOW missile on its cabin to send a shot directly at one humvee, not wishing to capture the vehicle because they began to run. As the humvee's headed towards the mine the trucks didn't pursue.

The morter shells did heavy damage to the church, but the people in the basement were safe for the time being. As the sniper began to move one of the asbenian's pointed him out, the sniper was fired upon by 10 intense barrages of gatling gun fire, meant to kill him as retribution for their priest.
---------

The holy man lay inside as the shells threatened to bring the place down. The men came for him quick and brought him into the basement, he was not in such good shape, but he had a pure smile on his face.

"Thank you Aza....Mitoya..Kaze and.....Sam...they....know now..." he was saying weakly.

"Don't speak father, its ok. You're safe now!" said a small boy (obviously Kaze) as he got a cloth to wrap over his bullet wound. It appeared as if the bullet at exited his body, making a nasty hole in the holy man.

The father rested, his life was safe for the moment, and it seems as if the morter shells had stopped raining on the church because of the men's brave actions to chase them off with their trucks.

------------------

As the humvee's raced to regroup, they would soon learn that the Asbenian's weren't done with them. The town of Wethersburg was alive with activity!

Young Christopher Robins got on the radio and began to speak to one of the CO's at forward base.
"Sir, we are in the town of, um, lets see... Wethersburg! We are being fired upon heavily! I don't understand, they're just trucks!" "Calm down son, what happened?" "Well, we got into the town, and we found a church. The sweeper squad, they went down to check it out. And then this preist guy came out, God they're all dead! Then the trucks came, shot at Norton at the mortar and Engvall and his brother with the .50's, and, Jesus they're fireing at us now!"
The AP rounds entered the hummer, and killed him and two in the back.
"NOO CHRIS!" the driver said. He picked up the radio and began to head towards the Georg mine. "Sir, this is Frank Growlings, rank of Seargent. The Asbenians have killed Chris and two other soldiers. Sir, this is bad. Very bad. The Sweeper squads hummer is following us, Oh god! They've been hit! Send help. SEND HELP!"

The hill that appeared over night suddenly burst forward, a line of trucks crossing the border and dashing for the military base about 5 miles from them.

The trucks shot across the border, had to be at least 100 of them all armed to the teeth like the previous technicals that slaughtered the soldiers in town. They were going to ambush and destroy everything in their way until their land was safe.

---------------

On the way to the mine the running trucks came across a particulary large truck that was geared up like the technicals, previously seen attacking the soldiers.

These trucks suddenly came out at the humvees as they were heading to the mine. They looked nothing like the trucks before. They were covered in extremely thick armor and appeared more like moving boxes!

http://www.sermonaudio.com/newsimages/imdf27072001062357a.jpg

Instead having just armor plating they had massive gun turrents ripped from tanks on the top of them with gatling guns! It was not so much a truck as it was a tank and an anti-air platform!

From behind the massive rock piles the trucks attacked, firing concentrated bursts of tank shells down on them from above, trying to run down the faster trucks if they lag too far or get hit.

"DIE INFIDELS!" yelled one of the people in the trucks.

The miners had reacted....violently.

19-02-2006, 17:51
The CO at forward base hung up the phone.
"Alright men, we are in trouble. Apparently, the Asbenians are on there way, right here. They somehow got through the border underground, don't ask me how. It not just the trucks now either, they have hummers full of armour and anti air capiblities. I can't believe I'm saying this, but abandon base. Get all companies stationed here (50) to the hills in SUSV's, and get the MLRS's, the Howitzers, and the Abrams to the hills. Keep them well supplied from Cumberdale's, and most importaintly, keep them moving! Get the Howitzers to fire at both Wethersburg and Frankenesse, it has come to my attention, straight from Tiberium, that they have major military bases being built there. Have the MLRS's fire at the boxy hummers first, then concentrate on the mines they appear to be coming from. Notify Ronli, and get the 1st and 2nd Support Groups up river, and start bombarding various cities. Lets see, what else...
Ah, the Thunderbolts! Get them to Hubert, and have them run missions against the trucks. Get as many of them destroyed as soon as possible! They can NOT get to Hubert, at any cost! Same with the Apache's, have them run the same roles. As for the F-35's, run reconnecence and destroy as many bases as possible! Soldiers, Good luck, and god speed."

19-02-2006, 18:04
The trucks were huge and hardly humvee's and after dealing with the small trucks sent against them they retreated into the mine where the true forces lay, hiding out from bombardment and direct attacks which the higher tech military could do.

However the men which quickly captured the base began to take everything of value in it and head south, deeper into Florintine's nation towards its nearest city, they would be long gone before any resistance to them taking the base was noticed. They stripped whatever they could carry out of the base for intelligence and men hopped into whatever tanks and vehicles that were able to work and drove them back to the Asbenian border towards Wethersburg.
-----------------
Father Homam was being attended to by the women in the basement, they had to get him out, but they didn't know if they were surrounded in the city. If they could hold out a little longer Father Nashira would come to the rescue from the north with a small army. It was a distance of 50 miles that Father Nashira would have to cross, but hopefully they would arrive in less then two hours. The time would feel like an eternity to the people still in the town.

A pair of Apaches raced over the countryside. They were the last to leave the base, and had witnessed the take over of the forward base. After reporting the split of the troops, one going back to the mines and the other heading south, they pursued the invaders. About 10 miles from the river, they were joined by two other pairs. They spread out around the group of trucks, and started to fire at them. They fired at the trucks with there hellfires and AP rounds, hoping to at least dent the huge amount. After spending their rounds, they turned around and headed back to Cumberdales.
Asbena
19-02-2006, 19:56
As the commanches Apaches approached they were attacked by a wave of intense anti-air fire from the top of mining trucks. The SAM batteries would make quick work of the older Apaches which were not speedy enough or agile enough to avoid them easily.

The hellfire missiles hit the rocks and exploded, raining down heavy rock on the mining trucks, but they were largely undamaged because they hid carefully and it would mess with the electronic homing hellfires which would hit the rock instead of the actual trucks. Though they were dented and the pilots were a little confused afterwords only one truck received a direct hit to the side armor, blowing a piece off its heavy plates sending it crashing to the ground leaving a pretty wide frame exposed on the right side.
Florintine
23-02-2006, 00:14
One by one the Apaches began to crash. By the end, it was clear that the Florins were facing a different kind of enemy than they had ever even thought of fighting. With the Apaches last transmission, they gave the apparent plan of the Asbenians, at least what they could gather from there location and speed.
------------------------------------
General Raghat stood at his desk while the transmission came through. He was very worried, very worried indeed. But, he had a plan.
Isolate the area between Hubert and Emerson, while salvaging the area south of the Yellow River. Meanwhile, get patrol ships to The Yellow, as well as the support groups in the Ronli. In otherwords, retreat.
------------------------------------
SUSV's, MLRS's, and all other kinds of vehicles began pouring into Cumberdales, trying to stop the assault of the Asbenians. Patrol ships from the west coast had already reached Yellow River metro, and 15 companies of men from Tiberium came, embedding themselves in the city itself incase of attack. The Eastern Patrol headed up past the city of Damtree, and withen the day the 1st and 2nd support groups would join them.

"Omar...the enemy city lays ahead, do you think they are prepared for an attack?" asked a man over the radio.

"Of course..we've lagged behind and also taken one of their bases, let's see...this enemy can see everything around them and has untold power. Chances are they are planning to ambush us as we enter the city." replied a stern man, who was no other then Omar the Scorpion.

"Is that why we are---"

"Yes, they will not expect such things." said Omar as he cut off the other man. "We will strike at night fall."
------

From the mass column of moving technical trucks there became a clear split as captured Humvees and the remnants of the enemy vehicles were separated from the main group as the Technical trucks deployed their camo-netting a few miles outside the city, waiting for nightfall.

However unlike the sneaky trucks, the captured vehicles would run into the city, calling for help and saying that the base was destroyed. Then destroy any help that arrives and garrison the buildings until the Technicals would swarm in and defeat the enemy.
-------

OOC: It might be a good idea to list how many tanks/humvees/whatever were at the base when I captured it. Cause these are ALL being used against the city. It might also be possible (and smart) to send a troop back to scout out the base and realize everything has been stolen and destroyed. (Which would signal the commanders that something is up with the Asbenian's sudden dissappearance from the field, and why so many trucks retreated back across the border with the stolen goodies.

Yellow River was in a state of chaos. The military had embedded themselves withen the cities blocks, and were just waiting for the enemy to cross the river.

Of course, they would also face trouble there. Howitzers were waiting in the parks to bombared the North Side, and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Support squads joined the patrol boats. Now all they had to do was wait.

24-02-2006, 02:02
A line of fleeing trucks appeared over the horizon, pushing forward, they were headed for the city and were rushing ahead, without showing any signs of firing or attacking anything. There was no radio conversation picked up. It was a bold move, but the Asbenians didn't think they were to be discovered until they were in the city.

Old Gernice Brown was walking her dogs late at night when she saw her freind Gladdice sitting on her front porch.
"Why, hello Gladdice!"
"Oh, Bernice! Hows the family"
"Oh, very good. And you?"
"Well, my sons Ferris and Horace just joined the militia a couple days ago. This excitement in Asbena has got them all revved up." "Well, thats nice. Peoples or State?"
"Peoples. I was hoping they'd go for Federal, but going to Tiberium made them into disestablishmentarists, so they wouldn't do it. There at the Urban Base a couple blocks over."
Gernice, even with her failing hearing, heared some speeding vehicles.
"Street racers! Youl'd think they'd stay away from the militia, but there almost calling it out these days."

The vehicles turned once they saw the people and yelled out to them, their voices sounded slightly foriegn, but was not thick. "Hey! This area is going to be a warzone soon! Please come here, we've been trying to notify people..."

Suddenly the calling stopped and a soft thud came from inside the Humvee with some indiscernable whispering. "Moron! This is a secret mission." "Screw it..."

A man got out of the Humvee, carrying a large rifle.

"Hey, you two! In the truck now. You're prisoners of war for the moment." said the man, stroking back his straight blonde hair and pointing his gun at them. "Bring the dogs, okay? We don't want to have any problems okay, we're taking control of this area as a statement to Florintine, that this is what they are trying to do to our people, but instead of taking them safely, they shoot our priests and bomb are churches, in an attempt to massacre us or take us of our sovereign land."

The guy waved his gun to show he had a weapon and didn't fire it off, he put it behind him to show he wouldn't do anything.

"Please come here." he said nicely.

From the humvee a man with a RPG-7 popped out and fired into the house. The leader pointed to the truck, "She's as good as dead, get in. Or your next."

The house exploded. Gernice fell to the ground. She picked herself up, and got in the hummer, calling her dog as she sat down. She began to sob.
-------------------------------------------
"What was that?"
A few men in the concealed People's Militia base heard the explosion during a game of cards.
"Jerry, get up on the roof and check things out. George, go call the police, and find out what happened. Dennis, its your turn.
Jerry ran down from the roof. "Theres a fire about a block away. I think its in your mothers complex Dennis. I saw a couple hummers drive down the street too. Should we get ready?"
Dennis could't believe it. "Oh god. We gotta get there now!"
George got off the phone.
"The police said they got a report on a couple street racers from that block. But before the caller could say where she was, there was an explosion and the phone went dead. We should definatly check it out."
Hank put down his hand. "Alright, get ready. We'll take the sewers a couple blocks down. If I'm right, they're headed for Lower Yellow River."
The men equiped themselves. Armed with a pistol and an AK-47, they were ready for anything. They opened the hatch, and stepped down into the sewers.

The humvee's shot into the central of the city with their hostage and went to the tallest building the could find, ready to smash through the front door and barricade the building.

OOC: Just pick a building or whatever. Give a floor plan if you can or whatever. They are going to barricade themselves in and fight you.

Police cars set up a blockade on North Street. They had helicopters, tire shredders, everything. Everything except a clue. The police still thought the vehicles were street racers, who perhaps may have been having a gang war with some old lady street racers. Yes, that is the stupidity of the Yellow River Police Department.
The street led the way to the North Yellow Police Department, and if, no when the Asbenians got through, they were bound to go there.

Geo-Sync over disputed border, 12:23 AM

The small satellite clicked away, sending real-time images to Space Force High Command, who then forwarded it to the Senate, who later released this statement.

From: Grand Senate of the Allied Union of Velkya
To: Governments of Asbena and Florintine

The Allied Union of Velkya is saddened to see such civil violence so close to home. While we cannot take sides in this matter, we urge both governments to lay down their arms and come to the negotiating table before more violence and bloodshed can occur. If at all possible, the Velkyan Army wishes to send a detachment of the 29th Infantry Division to the disputed area to act as a peacekeeping force until a summit can be agreed upon.

The Asbenians charged through the building, smashing the Humvee's through the front entrance as if it was a tank, clearly disregarding the entrance and pushing the trucks THROUGH, into the building, smashing everything and making one large scene, shooting off their AK-47s and yelling.

"EVERYONE! LINE UP AGAINST THE WALL!" yelled one of the men as the trucks all entered the building.
