A New Revolution - Communism Rises in Geiyersley

Geiyersley

OOC: Before reading, please note that this is a puppet nation of Guffingford. I'm writing some communist stuff (100% new to me, so bear with me) because all the right-wing extremism and pro-market rethoric bores the hell out of me. This communist stuff is new to me, Geiyersley and Guffingford HAVE NO IC AFFILIATION/RELATION/TIES or any relations or allies of Guffingford. All hostile contacts between Guffingford and any other nation can be called null and void in this RP. In short, I know 'nothing' of any of your nations ICly.

OOC INFORMATION: Geiyersley's - contrary to my UN profile which I'm gonna make more like this kind of nation in time - a rather poor place with a unexperienced military system where the monarchy has been removed from their thrones and eliminated in an earlier revolution, but the monarchists/capitalists have somehow retaken power and control over the land. After months of total social collapse, a hyperinflation's raging across the country and not a single government worker received pay for weeks, total economic meltdown looms and many other not very pleasant things, a revolution is sweeping across the nation rapidly. The police force does not know how to deal with it, and aren't very happy to put down the rebellion. In short, its anarchy. Geiyersley's a not a large island nation situated in the North Atlantic. Cold climate like Iceland, many evergreen forests and unspoiled natural beauty. The first post is an introduction for others, to jump in as they please.

IC:

A Glorious Future is in Sight for the Worker and Families!

The screaming headline of a very cheaply printed newspaper shows the current sentiment in Geiyersley. No quality, plain black text on yellow paper. Probably recycled paper judging from its lack of quality, stolen from the paper recycling plant. In Erebus, the capital city of Geiyersley, many people were riotting or plundering the already empty shops, frantically searching for food. Canned sardines, a rotten apple, an old loaf of bread. People eat it like oysters and champaign. I'd kill for a bottle of champaign. Hell, he'd kill for a bottle of anything. Water and food are hot commodities as money lost all its value. People barter on the streets, oil and gasoline are goods only used by the absent military. Where is the army anyway? Are they trying desperately to put down the rebellion or are they planning a counter offensive? Neither is likely. I must calm myself and not to lure myself into any other conclusions. I must find something to eat. I don't care what it is.

Gheorghes Ceauneski, the name of the helpless man looking for food took shelter in an old subway station. Abandoned and forgotten, since no subway attended this station for months. The revolution was well underway according to the leaders. Adjanevski, Röth and a very strange personality named Aremberg. Those three have a grand price of nothing on their heads. The government has nothing to offer, and the people have nothing to turn them in. And why should they? The first trio who ever tries to make something out of this nation will be shot or hung when caputed. No, this time the population of Geiyersley wants a change. It'll probably be a change for only the ruling party or parties, but it's a start. Maybe some day there's going to be a true revolution. Hear me again! I am thinking again, I need to stop thinking and start hoping for me to survive this.

Everywhere in the city posters glorifying The Revolution were glued to the walls of the buildings. It's surprising how many old buildings of Erebus have survived the chaos; it seems people don't want to waste things they might want to use when in power. To impress and intimidate no doubt like the King and his family once did. Once, I should put emphasis on that. Once this country was a fine place to live in. Only the weather was a let-down, but the weather's the last thing people worry about. The cold's everywhere. In every building, sneaking through floorboards, through walls and into your body. It cannot be stopped.
