I've wanted to play to a Jedi RP... so I'm creating one to see if there is interest.

I only want a max of about 6 players, with 1-2 characters each... there will of course be a few NPC... but we can deal with these easily. If you want to play, go ahead and reply to this, make your own character (according to the plot) and sign up. I will approve you from there.

Also, I want to make sure this moves along! ONLY sign up if you are committed to doing this entire RP and will not drop out.

BTW #1 rule: Please keep bad language out of the game... I want to keep it as clean as possible.

PLOT: The Kamino system is rainy... and important. In the days of the old Republic, Kamino was relied upon as a good taxpaying system, and an important economic ally. When it was found that they could clone, the Republic immediately sent Jedi ambassadors to investigate what they were cloning, and negotiate a deal to shut down the facility.

A Sith leader (a dark sith lord) was previously mortally wounded in a clash with the Jedi, and when he died the order was left in chaos. Thinking quickly, several sith joined forces and headed for Kamino, carrying the DNA of their sith lord. They conivinced (at the point of a lightsaber) the Kaminoians to side with them, and recreate their old master by cloning him.

The Jedi are on their way to Kamino, and they have no idea they are headed for a Sith hornets nest.

Not like a master or anything...light abilities and I'm stressing the light in that phrase...he can feel things and occasionally reach out in periods of high emotional outbreak. Almost like he's unstable.

You probably should stick with just two characters Nebarri... it's likely to get very confusing... and having 3 characters will make it even more so.

Yoda's race is unknown and it doesn't look like Lucas is going to be telling (creating) anyone... ever.

I think 9 is fine: 4 Jedi, 3 Sith, and 2 neutrals. We don't need to have an equal number of Jedi and Sith and it could even work better that there aren't - especially because the Jedi are all below the age of 34 (I think).

On the Jedi side, My character (Justin Yguten) is the master of the apprentice Knight Korr... and the other two Jedi are freelancers who work with us... there is no leader persay... we all just work together, but the apprentice is definitely under Justin's leadership.

The Sith have no leader until the dark lord has finished cloning, (which will happen rather swiftly after we start, it seems the Kaminoians are rushing this job) then the dark lord will lead the other two.

I'm not quite sure how the neutral characters will come into this... but I'm sure they can figure out a way.

Let's get rolling... I'll start the post and then put up a link. (I'll probably do this later tonight.)

Pretty much.

The Jedi stumble upon two Sith and a sith lord that is being cloned... (or perhaps already finished cloning) and a battle ensues.

In reality they are fighting over the loyalties of Kamino... but in theory it is a light vs. dark side battle... they don't like each other... they want to kill each other.

Works for me.

My computer was down. On top of that every Rp I have signed up for I have posted and RPed. Earth 13 has died and no one is posting. E20 is dead from what I can see. The Jedi Clone War RP that Nebarri started no requires me to not post. I have no place in the RP anymore.

What are you talking about!? How can your character suddenly not have a place in the RP? You can still RP Padme... she is just captured. You can still RP your Jawal; I don't even know why you don't think you can.

I can still RP Padme yes but the Jawa is a give or take character. He has no need in the RP anymore. If he magically blew up into Bantha Fodder it wouldn't truly matter.

The Jawa never really belonged. None of the created characters did unless they were elected to the Jedi COuncil.

Not mattering and just deciding to stop posting are two different things. Just because your character isn't the main focus of the RP doesn't mean that quitting doesn't do anything... by joining an RP you make a promise to RP and pay attention... not quit without telling anyone.

DMG and Nebarri and Candenstein all have grudges on me from the last RP and big whoop. Every other RP I have ever been in I have posted frequently and consistently. They are OOC opinions because we have OOC problems with you. Mainly that you decided to stop participating in the RP (without telling anyone or having a good reason to do so). That is a valid concern when allowing someone to sign up...

sorry just a little jumpy today...you should try to not get into so many RP's with schoo and stuff. I tried once and totally crashed leaving mostly all of the RP's i was in. Anyway I can wait. mainly cause I have to wait sence my home comp is currently parts in a box so im using the comp in one of my classes. Thank good im a fast typer otherwise I would have no time for this. :D

more like Dooku used Force Pull to bring down the chunks of dirt/rock over Yoda...after all Force Pull is not limited to objects that are not attacked to anything...

A first post (and especially one that is asking to join a thread already in progress) tells a lot about a person's writing abilities and RPing abilities.

Well... there should be a little battle - most likely everyone escapes. The Sith go off to plot their return to power - the Jedi go back to the Council and report what happened.

Perhaps... we will have to see... I'll do what I can to try and work on this thing... but I need some help from the Jedi players and Jace.

I have a feeling this is about dead, especially because I am leaving in two days for spring break and that will eliminate another two characters (unless someone wants to pick them up while I am gone for nine or ten days).
