After the Anthem ends the screen shows a stocky built Asian man sitting next to a slender young Asian woman. They are both in black suites and both are staring back into the audience until the man said to the world,

"Hello, I am Bob Soto and this is my co host Lisa Wong and this is tonight's top stories. The Patron Anton Von Bureon the great and wise father of the Grand National Union of Xharn has given a speech in front National Square just outside of the Grand National Citadel. The Patron has announced that the National Military Central Command has order National Directive 001 with the approval of the Grand National Senate. The Directive states that not only is the National Armed forces compulsory to all men of the age of 13 also this directive has extended the time served from ten years to twenty five years of service. The Patron has reported that the increased military service is needed to help crush the Novan invaders that are even now advancing along our coast. The Patron Anton Von Bureon and the rest of the National Military Central Command are confident that the sons of Xharn will stop these foreign dogs from getting to the capital and ravaging the city and our people. The Grand National Union was created to defend us and they will do so with their last breath."

Bob looks towards the Xharnian Flag and salutes.


Lisa Wong continues were Bob stops, "The Patron Anton Von Bureon and the National Military Central Command has also passed National Directive 002. The Directive states that no political parties outside of the Grand National Unity Party may exist within Xharn's borders. The majority of the political leaders have already disbanded their groups and submitted to the glory of the Union. The only exception is with the Communist group known as the People's Liberation Army of Xharn led by the infamous and traitorous Fzoul Kain. This people's Army is infamous for it's brutal attacks upon the false regimes military and being disloyal to Xharn our great and noble fatherland. They have also been known to steal from the local people and cause mass murder to loyal citizens of the Union."

(Lisa looks like she is going to cry.)


Bob starts to add, "The National Military Central Command along with the Grand National Senate are currently discussing a plan for the red solution as they call it. The Patron Anton Von Bureon has already labeled them as a dissenter group that needs to be suppressed to save our Nation from being exploited by the Foreigners that even now seek our down fall."

Lisa in a patriotic moment exclaims and salutes, "All hail the Grand National Union of Xharn!"

Bob repeats the nation's motto with the same fervor as Lisa...

The Grand Senatorial Citadel

The Grand National Senate was in session. They had to decide what how to deal with the Communist threat in the Northern Province of Kado. The Chancellor of the Senate and Chairman of the Party Marius Rackham started the meeting off by stating the problem at hand,

"Senators, We have to decide how to deal with the People's Army of Xharn. They have refused to disarm and give up their political ideals as issued by National Directive 002."

One of the Senators stood up and said,

"Why not just send four Divisions of Death Korps Infantry to suppress this threat to the Union?"


The Chancellor shook his head and replied,

"That would be a good plan if we had them to spare. The vast majority of our forces our battling the Novan invasion that is even now attack several cities such as Vorkinheim and Azureburg. We can not afford to send Death Korps infantry to battle the communist threat."

A military dressed senator stood up and said, "I have an idea how about we resurrect the old Intelligence agencies, Such as X.R.I.C. and the Secret Police?"

The Chancellor looked at the man and said,

"You have a solution Daniel Leer?"

The Ex X.R.I.C. Commander replies,

"Yes, There are hundreds of old intelligence people that need jobs and have proven they are good at their jobs. I purpose we create an organization dedicated to administration and enforcement of our Grand National directives."

The Chancellor Marius Rackham looked at the Ex X.R.I.C. Commander and said,

"Yes, but how does that combat the enemy which has an army in the north?"

Commander Marius laughed and replied,

"The men under my command could find this so called General Fzoul Kain and eliminate him."

Chancellor Rackham smiled and said,

"Very well we will put it to a vote to see if we should send it up to the boss. If he approves this new organization will become into being if not it will be scraped."

The National Directive was made up to protect The Grand National Union from these rebel scum that seek the downfall of our noble and glorious fatherland...
