Tanthan has five classes of spaceships:

These are the combat ships, they are the powerful main guns of the Tanthan military they are the real combat ships. Various shapes and sizes exist.
High Supreme Class Ships: None exist.
Ships in this catagory have would have massive amounts of crew. Over 200 km in length.
Supreme Class Ships: Two Exist (Tnemada and Behemoth)
Functioning on over 40 YW of power, these ships are massive and extremely dangerous. They are a whole new breed of ships. Over 140 Km in length.

Tnemada uses a super powerful shield system to be nearly invulnerable to attacks, it can asborb an amazing amount of energy weapons and be extremely dangerous. It is almost untouchable unless many capital ships were thrown at it. It is predicted that 500+ capital ships would have to be concentrating attacks on Tnemada before it would begin to lose. It is run by the seven noble families jointly. It is the one of two super ships in Tanthan.
Capital ships: 600,000+ Ships
Various ships in shape and size, varies between 5 kilometers to 140 kilometers. These are major ships that are placed extremely high on priority list for destruction in any combat between Tanthan mock fights. The average power on them is about 2,000,000 gigawatts. Capital ships have the major power on the battlefields and employ various weapons, and abilities that make them superior.
(They are the Super Star Destroyers of a Star Wars Nation)
All capital ships have phase-space, and hyperspace engines. They are able to track and fire FTL weapons. They are self-reliant and are armed to the teeth in weapons. They generally have no weak point when facing ONE enemy, but multiple enemies can weaken shields or break through them if they need to concentrate shields on a specific part of their ship. A capital ship is most commonly destroyed by being incinerated from constant laser fire being asborbed by the shields.

These ships are major combat units. They are often massive gun platforms for small conflicts. Tend to use physical weapons more then laser weapons. Most are .5-1km in length.
Heavy-Class ships are the first ships that are commonly run by Elven. They only have phase-space movement for FTL travel. Many carry a decent amount of fighters to aid in combat. Shields are particulary strong on a heavy-class ship when compared to others.
Cinna-Class Heavy Ship

Main Gun: A massive 100 meter wide barrel burrowing .5 kilometers into the ship. Ammo is limited and uses Metal Storm technology allowing for 5 shots to be stored.
Secondary Gun: 20 - Only 1 meter wide barrels, capable of using various ammo rounds. Scatter shot and wave tactics are used to pound enemies to swiftly destroy them.

Medium-Class Ships: Can you say cannon-fodder?
These are the destroyer ships, they are particulary dangerous by sheer numbers to larger ships. They consist of weak shields and weak laser power. The engines are weak, but are able to deliver enough power to go to phase-space on their own.

These ships are extemely agile and speedy. They carry powerful shields and powerful weapons. They specialize in destroying fighters in large numbers. They are essentially the lowest type of piloted ship in Tanthan. These ships have been known to be immune to most laser fire by fighters and only in large numbers are capable of overwhelming a ship like these. Light-class ships protect the larger ships which can not shoot down the swarms of fighters without using a great deal of time and power to fight them.
