Health Reasons Will Force the PM to retire.
CARMINA GADALICA-
Prime Minister Steven Koolridge was admitted to Carmina Gadalica General last night after collapsing in his office, just after a meeting with the Parliment.
According to the Secret Service, he became very pale then hit the floor with throbbing chest pains. He was admitted in serious condition.
"It's rather sad." Says Parliment Chair President Kamen Rosston. "This was his last planned term in office, and he's getting booted out early."
The Prime Minister had agreed to serve one last term after ending a cold war, last September. But since then numerous poltical pressures have faced him. With growing threats of terrorism, anti-socialist nations, and the withdrawl from the United Nations, in favor of a Leauge of Nations, are all likely contributing factors. Most party members declined for comment.
The Citizens are taking note as well. A refugee from the Empire of Stevid whom has asked not to be adressed by name, had this to say about her new Prime Minister. "When my children and I, we're expelled from Stevid, we came here. Because we knew this was a place of tolerance. The Prime Minister not only welcomed all of us refugees with open arms, he also assured us he was going to fight for our rights." Princess Tomoyo Mikanu of Kurona is also sad to see him force into early retirement. Condolences have also come from The Queen and Princess of Aqua Anu, freinds, family and citizens.
While many posotive comments, some can't wait to see him go. Mr. M as he requested feels the Prime Minister has gotten Kanami into trouble to many times, and has neared it's annialation.
Elections we're schedualed for June of this year, and although Koolridge wasn't planning on running, he still would have liked to finish out his term. As of today he is reported in stable condition and will likely be released in a week. His wife spoke on behalf of him saying: "I'm saddend by my early retirement, but that is the way it's going to be." Elections are expected to take place in March of this year.
Regarding Kanami's current affairs in the World, the Vice Prime Minister said he will continue the efforts currently being done in the world, and hopes the seceeding PM will too.
