Official Statement from the Imperial Mauvasian Government
To: All [coordinates]

Greetings to all like-minded states of the world! We are calling on you because we are concerned by a highly serious matter involving a fellow liberal democracy. As many of you know, the nation of Czardas has come under attack. However, it seems the facts have been little-publicised. Therefore, we wish to inform you of the truth where this matter is concerned:
The Concordance of Czardas, as it is known, has come under attack from the nations of The Warmaster, Parthia, Shenyang, Yurka, Freudotopia, and Banduria (although this last recently withdrew from the invasion). These imperialist nations have been attacking civilian targets, including the cities of Tyriandor and Aurdania, and appear to have the total destruction of Czardas in mind.
We beg of the international community to give some kind of aid to help the nation of Czardas against these unscrupulous attackers, despite their claims that Czardas is indeed the agressor; in which we can see little truth, if any. Czardas's allies seem to have backed off from giving it aid, all for perfectly understandable reasons—economic crisis, impending conflict, etc.—but nonetheless, this leaves little between the invaders and their targets.
Time is running out, and it is highly unlikely that Mauvasia will be able to mobilise its forces in time to defend this nation. A coalition defence, however, will be far more effective...While it may seem as though this is not Mauvasia's affair, we believe in defending fellow nations, and as such the fall of another democracy cannot be stood for.
