Today, the controversial trial of Foreign Minister Chong Moua and Minister of Public Order Chia Neng Lee reached a conclusion. Both men were found guilty of first-degree murder, terrorism, and other felonies. They would have been executed had not the Generalissimo himself intervened. He decided that, 'It would be best for everyone if they just left the country, wiped the slate clean, broke with the past, and set up new lives for themselves.' Khailfah al Muslimeen* has offered to accept Lee, under certain conditions, conditions to which Lee agreed. It is assumed that Moua will re-locate to the Re-united States of America, from which his wife, Kimiko Ayasugi Moua, hails. J.L. announced that the two men would be replaced by Diana Cheng and his son Alfredo, as Foreign Minister and Minister of Public Order, respectively."

This saddens me, indeed, that I will not have the privilege of meeting with Chia Neng Lee at the next WACL meeting. We shared many of our ideals closely, and had become good friends. I do, however, realize that he did break the law, and his punishment was justified.

New England might prove more problematic, they've joined forces to resist the inevtiable. We thrashed them neae Newburgh, but it was kinda hairy there, from what my generals said.
