Republic Dissolved, Dictatorship Proclaimed, Military Expanding
The coming of the dawn saw a strange sight for the citizens of Telgrade, capital of the Teslian Republic. Soldiers clad in black trench coats marched in ordered lines, silent, AKMs cradled in callused hands. The wheels of Armored Personnel Carriers and main battle tanks squealed over the concrete behind the columns. The letters “TIA” were neatly painted in black on the sides of the vehicles. Citizens watched the profession quietly from doorsteps or peered through the curtains of second story windows.
The columns passed by the city’s largest structure, the Teslian Capitol building. The iron gates had been thrown open and in the square before the building black clad soldiers marched while a pair of tanks trained their silent barrels on the gilded dome. In the main chamber, the room was full but dead silent. Most of the occupants trained their eyes on the grand double doors leading into the room, where a pair of silent soldiers had taken up flanking positions, rifles shouldered, but tense. Footsteps could be heard in the hall outside.
A tall figure suddenly appeared in the door, silhouetted against the dim lighting of the reception hall. He stepped in, revealing himself as a man of about 40 with a dark, vaguely central Asian complexion, clean shaven, clad in a black trench coat that he wore over a decorated black military uniform. He held a flat-topped hat under his arm, bearing a pair of silver crossed swords on the front. At his side hung an ornate scimitar.
The figure marched silently down the aisle, towards the front of the chamber, his face motionless, without expression. There was a barely perceptible limp in his step, that contrasted, for those who noticed, with the man’s cold composure. A man clad in a gray suit sat atop the bench, the Teslian Prime Minister. He watched the approaching man with a gloomy calm as his loud footsteps reverberated about the chamber.
He reached the front of the room and paused before the bench, looking straight into the Prime Minister’s eyes. He then spoke, his voice heavy and booming, full of the Teslian guttural.
“Prime Minister Gregov, I am authorized by President Kerikov to demand your immediate resignation. I will ask you to vacate this chamber immediately and surrender your duties to myself and the new government.”
The Prime Minister was still, his eyes set firm as a man who is resigned to his fate.
“I know why you are here, and I know what you will do if I hand over charge of this body to you and your gangsters, and I will say it now that I will never willingly do any such thing.”
The black clad officer’s expression remained unchanged.
“Then you are in direct violation of a direct order by the President under the Emergency Authority Acts, and therefore can be considered a traitor to Teslia. Under the Emergency Judicial Powers Act I can sentence you right here and now.”
The Prime Minister’s voice shocked the chamber with its force.
“Then do it! Show your colors, you bloodthirsty goon!”
The Prime Minister got to his feet and addressed the chamber, shouting at them, now full of emotion.
“This man is a dog! Nay, a rat! He conveys his pestilence unseen and now his plague has spread! If this man does what he came here to do today, I warn you, he will destroy this republic! He will destroy this nation! He is a warmongering, barbaric, gangster! If ever there was a time to stand, to speak out, let it be now! Stand for your Republic!”
But the chamber was silent. The Prime Minister looked about, his eyes desperate, pleading silently, but the others were as silent. The officer smiled slightly. The two soldiers at the door advanced quickly, moving to the Prime Minister’s sides and grabbing his arms. He glared at the chamber and the man standing before him.
“Take him away.”
The soldiers dragged the statesman out into the hall. The doors closed after them. A muffled gunshot was heard a few seconds later. The officer ascended to the Prime Minister’s position and looked out over the chamber.
“On orders of the President, I am hereby assuming authority over the Teslian Parliament. My first action is to dismiss the parliament for an extended vacation of indefinite period. In place of the Parliament, a military council has been established, of which I am assuming the leadership. You can all go home.”
The chamber was still. The representatives looked around nervously, then slowly began to get to their feet and file out of the chamber. Soon, the black clad officer was left alone on the bench, looking out over the empty room.
A few minutes later he emerged on the steps of the parliament building to roaring cheers from the soldiers gathered outside. He drew the sword and lifted it. With the gesture he sealed the fate of the republic. General Josef Namazov, Dictator of the Teslian Nation.
The face of the dark skinned dictator was all over the television stations, his voice on all the airwaves. He read aloud the new government dictates, things forbidding such things as criticism of the new government, civil disturbance, badmouthing the armed forces. The standard lot. Following this, he took measure to remind the populace of the dangerous threat of the communists, the separatists, the pacifists. All the groups that would undermine the new order, put in place to bring order and stability to the nation, to revitalize the Teslian economy and put life into her armed forces.
Across the country the factories ground out the weapons for the military revitalization. Enthralled by the propaganda, young men poured to the recruitment offices to enlist in the armed forces. Tanks, troops, guns, bullets, the whole lot and in abundance.
And all the while the shots rang out in the back alleys as roving firing squads terminated those enemies of the new order whose names existed on the secret black lists, compiled over the past years. The low wail of the sirens on the armored cars, the thunder of heavy leather boots, the click of empty magazines.

Central Independent Hitmen
Sir Jonathon Hamilton surveyed the view from his 110th storey office window. He could see for miles in three directions from the office that stood at the pinacle of the J Corp Towers that was the administrative HQ for the huge Multinational Corporation. He still held the smile on his face from the Prussiatopia deal that he was about to finalise that would bring yet more money into his organisation and therefore into his pockets. Not that he needed anymore. He was comfortably the richest man in the country, even outstripping age-old wealth of the Gold Barons from the south and the steel magnates from the Central Industries.
In just a decade his company had grown from very humble beginnings thanks largely to this man and his connections. Having been at school and a very close friend of President James Anderson had undoubtedly helped him acquire his status and he was a frequent visitor to the New White House as well as a close advisor to the President on all matters economical. That gave him a large amount of contacts, one of which he dialled on his phone now. After just two short rings a voice came on the other end.
"Morning Jon"
"Mr Secretary. I trust you are well?"
"Oh you know, so so. What can I do for you?"
"This situation in Teslia that I saw on IHNN. Serious?"
There was a shuffling of papers at the other end of the line that showed the real answer. The IH government was not concerned with a seemingly backwater takeover in some out of the way country, far from any trade routes that may need the Navy to protect them.
"Serious for them. We have no embassy and the three business men that were in the country got out just before they shut down the airport. Nothing much to do with us."
"Ok, thanks Tom. Thought it was worth checking what with the Prussiatopian thing hopefully completing tomorrow."
"Any time Jon. See you Thursday"
The line clicked dead and Sir Jonathon pressed the button to kill his end as well. No sooner had he done so that a familiar knock came at the door and he turned his leather chair to face it, bidding enter to the person at the same time.
That person was Robert Edginton, one of the most trusted members of the Board of Directors and a good negotiator for all kinds of deals that Hamilton had undertaken in the past years.
"Morning Rob. What do you think?"
"The Teslia business presents us with some good points. They are low on the International scene, no direct enemies that we know of, undertaking rapid rearmament and no sign that the new leader will be overthrown anytime soon. Very good investment oppurtunity, especially for the Weapons subdivision."
"Excellent. Make contact in the usual discrete way. Enquire as to whether we can rend any assistance, for appropriate monetary return of course."
A nod and a smile as Edginton left to formulate a transmission.
Half an hour later he was done and he personally took it to the communications room that sat on the roof of the tower along with several high power encrypted satellite transmitters.

"Your Highness, this nation, alhtough young is without a doubt a threat to the world at large. I fear that they may become an expanisve, aggressive nation."

We are glad that you see the benefits that can come from involvement with our corperation as we can see the benefits of being involved in your soon-to-be-great country.
As a gesture of good faith on our part we have sent a weapons shipment of twenty of our brand new Hyn Anti-Tank Missile systems. These weapons are hidden in supply crates onboard the fast merchant liner Pride of Abrams that left the Port of Chinthurst this morning and should be with you before the end of the week. If these systems are to your liking we can provide you with blueprints to allow you to construct your own, for an appropriate price of course.
Furthermore we have earmarked a team of twelve ex-IH Special Forces operatives to fly to your nation as soon as flights are available to begin consultations and decide upon what other assets are needed. At this point we would ask for a guarantee of their safety as well as a deposit of $10million USD to be placed in the following account.
Account number: 0008972747296186
Destination: Royal Bank of Redge, Redge Capita.
When the fund transfer has been completed the operatives will be sent, covertly, to Teslia to perform their task.
Our only other clause is that our involvement is kept from the wider world, with only those who need to know being informed of the presence of J Corp employees in Teslia.
Thank you on behalf of J Corp, we hope that this is the start of a long and mutually beneficial friendship.

Pride of Abrams
Fast Merchant Liner, Six days out of Chinthurst
The Pride of Abrams was a large vessel of just over 668feet in length, displacing close to 32,000 tonnes when full of cargo but still capable of a speed of 24knots. Officially owned by the Yelts Shipping Lines, Pride of Abrams was actually one of several vessels operated by J Corp and its various associated companies. Most of the crew knew this fact, their generous pay packets combined with subtle warnings ensuring that they kept their mouths shut.
There were however two extra crewmen present on this voyage, both of whom looked in even better shape than the physically fit sailors. They were both former Marines, one from a Marine Assualt Battalion and the other from the mechanized infantry. They were extra insurance against anything happening to the special cargo held within the ship. The Hyn Anti-Tank Missiles were still in the testing stage with the IH Army and other ground units and so the twenty launchers and additional missiles being transported here presented a risk if they were to fall into the hands of the wrong people.
Obviously the higher people in J Corp assumed that Teslia would place large orders that would more than recoup the losses incurred by this generous gift. The two newest additions to the crew were even now moving the large weapons systems, usually operated by a crew of two from a fixed position or vehicle mount, out of the large J Corp packing crates and into some Agricultural Machinery ones. When they had finished the old packaging was taken topsides, bundled into large watertight bag which was then weighted and thrown overboard. With that done the two went below to the ships hidden armoury and drew out a pair of pistols along with an MP-9M Submachine gun each. The pistols they kept on them, whilst the MP-9M’s were stashed in easily reachable positions nearest to their work stations. The men also had Kevlar vests close at hand that would fit under the loose overalls worn by the ships crew without too much of a noticeable difference. Whilst piracy was not uncommon, it was not usual for a ship carrying the IH flag to be attacked, at least not within three days sailing of the bulk of the Navy. But these men weren’t trained to be relaxed.

The ships navigational radar had been tracking the small convoy of transports, but no particular alarm was raised when they turned more towards the Fast Liner. Their speed and cross section denoted them as unlikely to be hostile, so the ship continued on as normal.
About an hour later one of the forward lookouts used his phone to tell the bridge that the first of the transport ships was in visual range. Fifteen minutes later, with the use of his big book of national flags, the lookout also confirmed that it was a North Mack freighter or possibly military transport ship. When they continued to close with the Pride of Abrams the Captain decided to ask them for a weather report, completely un-necessarily but it would serve to open a dialogue to assure restless minds.
“Unidentified Northern Mack ships off our starboard bow, this is the fast merchantman Pride of Abrams. Our weather mast is temporarily down, requesting that you forward local weather report to us via UHF transmission. Over.”

From what appeared to be containers on the deck of the largest ship, a helicopter is wheeled out onto the deck, and lots of activity begins around it.

Pride of Abrams
The lookout watched as the ships approached, curious as to why there were several people near the flagpole of the leading vessel. And then it all became clear. He hurriedly picked up the direct phone to the bridge.
“Captain, Pirate vessels!”
On the bridge the Captain felt a lead weight appear in his stomach. He turned quickly to the radio room behind him.
“Quickly send a distress signal, Pirates.”
“Aye sir”
The radioman turned to his machinery and nothing happened.
“Cap’n they must be jamming it or something. It wont work. I’ll try the satellite”
“Quickly. Detail our position according to the GPS readout, we need help as soon as possible.”
The Captain turned back to the bridge windows just as one of the former marines appeared at the door.
“Captain, we need to rig the special cargo for demolition. It cannot fall into pirate hands. I need ten men at the armoury.”
“You have them. We will delay them as long as possible.”
A nod was all he got from the retreating figure who was now in his Kevlar jacket.
Meanwhile as the Pirate ships approached even closer the ten men assembled at the armoury along with the two Marines. They were issued with Sub-machine guns and pistols along with a few spare magazines each before proceeding down into the cargo hold. A squad of seven sailors plus the former Assault Marine stayed at the only real entrance down and began to fortify that position whilst the other three went with the former Mechanized Marine to set charges on the Special Cargo.
Up top the Captain brought the ship to all stop after hearing from the radioman that the message had been dispatched and a receipt of delivery obtained. Hopefully it would be with the IH Navy soon, although what immediate help they could send was worrying. Next the Captain ordered his men out from the engine room and for all the remaining sailors to head to the armoury. They carried just enough weapons for each man to have one and he was damn sure no pirate would take his ship without a fight, especially after he was told by the owner of J Corp about the importance of this particular shipment.
Naval Air Station 423,
SouthWestern IH Coast, Approximately 2400miles from the Pride of Abrams
NAS 423 was commanded by a Navy Commander due to its relative insignificance on the rocky SouthWestern coastline. The message of possible Pirate activity was forwarded to them from Naval HQ at Gillen that had obtained it from “a reliable source”. The two patrol aircraft, P-3C Orion’s, that were already in the air were diverted towards the area, a flight that would take them sixty and ninety minutes respectively, whilst the other five were prepared incase they were needed.
Navy HQ at Gillen had also ordered the Battlecruiser Massilia that was operating in the area to head for the co-ordinates as quickly as possible and a Naval Ocean Reconnaissance Satellite had been tasked to give a pass of the area when it came over in ten minutes time.
However for now, all anybody could do is wait.
Royal Communique
-------------------------
Dear Gen. Nazamov,
I write to you on behalf of the people of the High Kingdom of Atruria, a nation with which the old Teslian government had minute diplomatic relations, though we did maintain embassies within one another's nations. We would like, first of all, to ensure that our embassy and ambassadorial staff will remain intact during your government's new era and that our diplomatic personnel will not be harmed as a result of your regime change. Secondly, we would like to confirm that you, as the new government of Teslia, shall still be maintaining an embassy in the High Kingdom of Atruria. We would also like to congratulate you on the change in government that has taken place.
Regards,
Sir Allistair Sullivan,

Official Communique From the Teslian Government:
To: Sir Allistair Sullivan,
His Majesty, Charles III, etc., etc.
From: General Nikola Berisha
The Teslian Government first of all thanks you for your congratulations, and second of all fully ensures the wellbeing of all Atrurian diplomats within Teslian borders and the maintenance of friendly diplomatic relations between our two states. Furthermore, we intend to maintain the Teslian diplomatic mission in Atruria, however certain members of the staff will be pulled out and replaced with ministers of my choosing.
Yours in sincerity,
General Josef Namazov,
Supreme Dictator of the Teslian Nation
On the unseasonably warm morning of wednesday, september 18th, not coincidentally the date of a Teslian National Holiday during which was celebrated the life of the traditional protector of the Teslian people, Boris Yukatov, a large crowd began to gather in the center of Telgrade, rumored birthplace of the great figure, as had happened every year before for many centuries. The commemorative gathering had been traditionally one of celebration, complete with folk music, dancing, free beer, and powerful patriotic speeches. Today, as before, some of the city's populace began to slowly assemble in fraternity and celebration, taking the day off from their jobs and duties.
However, unbeknownst to a great many of them, things had changed with the rise of General Namazov. There were numerous paramilitary groups within the city, largely operating unofficially in the lower class neighborhoods, keeping a sort of jungle law and taking advantage of their support for the Dictator to suit their own ends. They were rather disunited and occasionally brawls between sections of the nationalist paramilitaries, as they were generally referred to, broke out, often ending in violence. Of course, they would instantly put aside their differences to challenge other gangs and militia movements who were not of the same loyalties, and more often than not gunshots and shouting could be heard in the alleys as socialist youth gangs met brutal treatment at the hands of their numerous nationalist counterparts.
The leader of one of the smaller sections, though by far the most reactionary and violent, one Boris Dregov, had for a time resented the annual celebration of the national hero, having had a poor experience at the celebration near eight years earlier in which a young woman had embarassed him through refusal of a dance. Being a rather small minded and begrudging man, he had carried it in his heart and allowed it to fuel his resentment, not aided by the fact that he shared the national hero's first name. Today, he saw his opportunity to put an end to the gathering, taking up the belief that it was counter-nationalist and too traditional to be beneficial, despite the fact that many members of Dictator Namazov's cabinet themselves attended and enjoyed the festivities, and the Dictator himself was rumored to have a long abiding love of traditional Teslian music and dance.
Rounding up a number of his party, this Boris Dregov marched through the streets to where the celebration was getting underway, and with great stealth, melted into the crowd. On his signal, a number of his men began harassing a young woman, which sparked a relative of hers to step in. He recieved a swift blow to the face, and so began a brawl that grew to involve a dozen or so men, just as Dregov had planned. Despite the intervention of more level heads, who saw the plans of Dregov and his gang, the brawl began to grow out of hand, and at this numbers of Dregov's paramilitaries arrived brandishing clubs, knives, and tire irons. The scene was by now near complete chaos, and many began to flee. However, a local socialist youth gang had heard the news, and by now come to join the event and for once embarass one of their chief rivals.
The socialists charged the crowd and a bloody combat erupted, with both sides punching, stabbing, and clobbering their opponents. As the weight of the socialist gang began to make itself felt, Boris, a terrible coward himself, sounded retreat and his gang fled, leaving the socialists in possession of the square.
However, fortunately and perhaps as planned by Boris, the authorities arriving on the scene saw the symbols of the socialist gang and assumed that it had been they that began the brawl, and before the gang could scatter entirely, many were arrested. Boris, hearing this, revelled, and so did what he could to spread the word that it had indeed been a socialist youth gang that had sparked the chaos, information that inflamed even the less firebrand elements of the paramilitaries.
A manhunt began in the slums, with members of the nationalist paramilitaries going door to door looking for members of not just the socialist youth gang, but any of their rivals. Perplexed young men were dragged into the street and shot point blank on their knees. Cries of "Long Live Marshall Namazov!" rang out amid gunfire and shouting as chaos and fear spread.
Meanwhile, Dictator Namazov himself had been peacefully eating his breakfast in the Telgrade Mansion he had commandeered as his own residence, and had just recieved word of the events, not having wanted to be disturbed. He was outraged at first, seeing this as a horrible source of destabilization in a country he was trying quite hard to stabilize, but soon saw the benefit. His dogs, whether he had ordered them to or not, had begun a campaign of terror in the working class neighborhoods that would leave loyal forces firmly in control of the streets, and thus the popular opinions and necessities. It would therefore become advantageous to the workers of the nation to be loyal to him, and he immediately set to work trying to craft the best firm course of action.

A short way away, an NSAA patrol ship just happens to be in the area, cruising along on a course that will soon bring it into contact with the stopped transport.

The Captain was now armed with an MP-5N in addition to his Colt .45 that sat in his belt holster next to a couple of spare magazines. There were only twenty five men in his crew, plus the two ex-Marines and two other officers, due to the ship being barely a year old and therefore highly automated for its size. Now with all the systems shut down the Captain had taken those that remained for a last stand within the superstructure. Standing behind the metal guard wall that stood up to his chest the Captain peered through his binoculars at the approaching small boats, full to the brim with foul mouthed individuals brandishing an array of small arms. He was joined by his XO and the First Mate, both carrying M16A2 Assault Rifles.
“Think you can scare them off XO?”
“Can’t help to try Sir!”
“Excellent answer. Now I just pull this lever here then point and pull this other one here correct?”
“Aye aye Cap’n”
The three men levelled their weapons on the now still guard rail and each chambered a round, setting the fire selectors to three round burst, each took aim at a separate boat and began firing.
The chatter of automatic weapons was heard by the crew who were still on deck and they began firing off rounds as well. The appearance of the helicopter served to make those not already under some form of cover get to it, not before on had been hit in the leg by a ricocheting bullet.
Some of the men from the party tasked to secure the hold came back up the entrance and began firing, creating an escape route for the rest of the crew to go down if and when the pirates actually managed to get onto the large ship.
Below decks, the explosive charges were placed on the packages marked agricultural machinery. They were not large, but would serve to destroy those crates and probably a large portion of those around them, creating a fire that would probably be put out by the ships automated support services before they themselves were wrecked to prevent the ship from being taken.
As an after thought the Chief Engineer sabotaged the engines, although in a way that meant a very skilled machinist may be able to get them working after a few hours hard toil.
IHS Massilia
Gaul Class Battlecruiser, 200 Nautical Miles from the Incident.
“Officer of the Watch, bring us up to full power. Set course two-six-four, plot the intercept.”
“Aye Aye Sir”
Captain Jacobs felt the ship surge forward from a cruising speed of 29knots to her maximum endurance speed of 41knots, powered by the three huge nuclear reactors that sat deep within her hull. Jacobs looked forward to the bridge windows and through the small spray that had collected there and towards the six forward facing 16” guns that sat in two triple turrets. There were three more on the rear of the ship on the other side of the superstructure, communications rigs and fire finder radar masts along with eighteen 5” guns in single turrets down the sides of the ship. The Battlecruiser had more firepower than a World War Two Battleship and that was without the missile complement that she also carried, four armoured quad box AS-1 Anti-Shipping Missiles with a full reload set below, two SM-4 SAM Launchers with twenty missiles each and a hundred VLS cells just behind the rear turret that carried an array of Tomahawk Cruise Missiles, AS-1’s and SM-2’s.
Altogether one of the newest Battlecruisers in the IH fleet was a tough proposition to crack, bristling as she did with weapons. Primarily designed as a Capital ship killer, if she could find these apparent pirates she would blast them out of the water.
As the first days of October drew round, Namazov sat firmly in the seat of power, riding the ship of state like a jet-ski. His paramilitaries fought daily in the slums, keeping jungle law and making sure public favor rested with the dictator. Eventually, he knew, he would have to ensure a more permanent order was enforced in the working class districts, but for now the situation suited him, as it freed up his black clad state police for more important duties, such as purging and terrorizing, all while his army trained under the guidance of foreign advisors. Soon, at the newly established military academy, a new class of officers would graduate, and in time as they gained knowledge and experience, they would be able to replace the foreign tutors and giveTeslia military independence.
The arms factories continued to pour out small arms, bullets, bombs, weapons of war, tools of terror all under the Teslian banner. Martial law was still in effect throughout the country, but the firing squads were not as overworked as they had been a month ago. Popular opinion was firmly in favor of the new government, thanks to the propaganda machine headed up by General Berisha, a true administrative genius and Namazov's right hand.
However, in the south of the country there still was some lingering discontent. These southern slavs were of a different ethnic makeup, not pure Teslians, but a lighter skinned folk, known as Tlskans. They had long desired independence for the region they inhabited, a land not particularly fertile or rich in resources, but one that boasted a great maritime economy and one of the nation's largest ports.
On the morning of October 8th, the local union leaders headed by dockworker's union boss Ivan Griekov called for a general strike, despite the government ban on such activity. Dictator Namazov, furious at such flagrant insurrection, ordered immediate action be taken, and on cue the black clad state police arrive to break up the strike, forcibly. The workers were caught off guard, not expecting such an immediate reaction, and as the police hemmed them in on all sides, they scrambled to disperse, caught between heavy clubs and black vans.
In the chaos, a shot was fired, striking an officer in the heart and killing him instantly. Infuriated, the police opened fire, killing a dozen men and setting off another brutal chapter in the history of the rise of the Teslian Nationalist State.
The families of the slain dockworkers and their unions were enraged, and that night a molotov cocktail was thrown through the window of a police station not far from the docks district. The fire spread rapidly and set off an old evidence locker full of ammunition, nearly levelling the building. The police retalliated with a raid on the home of Griek, arresting him and bringing him to the station. The news spread rapidly and the morning after, a large crowd had gathered outside the city's police headquarters, demanding the man's release. Unbeknownst to them, he was not being held there, but in the basement of a motal outside the city that served as an interrogation facility. Shots were fired at the crowd, but instead of retreating, they stormed the station, setting off a bloody battle in which 13 officers and 36 demonstrators were killed and many more injured.
The station was left in control of the officers, but the spirit of outrage was quickly spreading. Putting his foot down, Namazov deployed his special military units, mostly veterans from service in the old republic, to crush dissent. Street battles raged as state police and their military muscle stormed houses of known dissidents, butchering anyone who resisted arrest. As happens in most similar situations, however, the reason for the massacre became one of ethnic cleansing. As the majority of dissenters were Tlskan, this was used against them to brutal effect. Refugees flocked from the burning city, sneaking through police lines as the chaos raged. At the end of the fifth day, things quieted, with more than 1,000 dead.
Namazov once again picked up the reins.

Sir;
Your actions have recently come across our fair intelligence state upon Mount Kura. Although we are a young nation, we are well versed with the fact of the military. My father was approached by diplomatic parties in which the Social Revolution could be properly ended so that the Republic could rise.
I am not too sure what to state at this point. While I am appreciative of the military regime (I of the Republican Civil Guard before I was elected), the fact of the civilian relations should be tolerated. After all, it is only by the civilians that we of a military power do draw our strength from. If they are impressed with the fact that they are our vassals to partake of misery and brutality, then a rebellion will surely break out.
It is on this fact that I propose an exchanging of military attaches to your state upon the matter of avoiding a full fledged war within the powers that have been alerted to your activities. Although our military is far smaller than yours, they do have experience in holding the peace within the Republic, and have even managed to experience an upswing in the current Reformation we are having within the military tactics and social structure. The attaches can also double as diplomats, provided of course such safety can be re-assured to their own being, and that they will not be harmed in their duration in your nation. They are, in fact, police officers and are adjusted to command instead of guerilla campaigns.
Please respond if interested in this offer,

A Blackhawk Helicopter with the large yellow J symbol of J Corp flared and landed on a government helicopter landing pad near the Capital. Three men carrying XM-8 Assault Rifles and full tactical gear stepped out of the chopper when the blades were still turning and ran at a crouch to the edge of the pad where a pair of J Corp jeeps awaited them. They were completely at ease or as at ease as former Special Forces men could be, but they kept their gear on them as they sat in the seats of the jeep and its chase car.
The three were part of the Advisory team that had been imbedded with the Special Police Squads in the South and had returned to make a personal report. Whilst nominally IH citizens, none of them had actually been born within the Homeland one coming from Imperial Guardsmen and the other two natives of Russian Forces. The passports had been obtained through J Corp and its channels in the State and Administrative Department’s that were maintained through generous unofficial bonuses to employees.
All three of this advisory team were hardened veterans; although they had done no actual firing of their weapons in the South they had them with them for safety in the less controlled parts of the country. Another of the team had shot two demonstrators dead as nothing more than a quick demonstration of how to properly hold the rifle whilst undertaking automatic fire mode. He had brushed the incidence aside, bloodthirsty operative that he was, he still knew how to do a demonstration the Guffingford way.
J Corps continuing presence in Teslia was going well for both sides of the deal. J Corp was being paid a sizeable amount into un registered bank accounts, whilst the Teslian military were quickly coming along. Progress was very good, J Corp advisors would teach specially chosen students who showed leadership potential, along with political reliability, who would then pass the task along to other members of the new armed forces. By the end of the year they hoped to have at least one fully equipped Mechanized Infantry Brigade operating, with another doing so once the equipment was fully completed and the heavier vehicles bought in from overseas.
The amazing thing was, the IH Government still had no idea as to the depths of J Corps involvement.

I take this time to convey to you His Excellency, Dictator Namazov’s recognition of the interest you have taken in the current situation within the Teslian borders, and furthermore assert that the current military regime is a transitional one until stability and rearmament can be successfully completed. Teslia and her government are fully committed to her civilian populace and their protection through the strength of the military and police forces, and are equally committed to peace with the fellow nations of the world.
With regard to your military attaches, Dictator Namazov is willing to allow a limited number, no more than 20, into the country, and will guarantee their safety so long as they follow the laws of the land and remain under the stringent supervision of Teslian government personnel.

I have received your missive and I was wondering about the status that you are willing to place upon the attaches. They are talented in the arts of officiers, as one would say, but not totally blind. I was wondering if you could lend them the freedom of partaking in the latest stragety techniques that your soldiers utilize within the naval/air/ground "spheres". Without that information, they would be nigh near useless as expertise in their field. The phrase 'no less than 20' is fine by my own standards considering that I was planning on to send about 5, which is nearly 4 times as what I was thinking. A company - that is 10 - will be sent to your nation upon the morrow, provided adequet transportational facilities can be made for an Osprey with the Republican decal on the side (a bright red sun eclipsed in a sphere of dark brown and an oval of blue) as well as refueling for the trip back home.

It was a strange affair that the land that they saw was not desert nor coastal lands, Hagah thought. Although it did have mountains, that was about it. The cities seemed to crawl in a unregulated pattern that was not typical for the Agonanese Plain.
Hagah sighed and looked through the papers he had received when he signed up for the mission. It seemed that the country that they were advising was certainly militant. The only thing was on how restrained their forces could be on the fact of the civilian question and how they would be utilized in future armaments.
Now approaching Teislian Air Space rang out the pilot.
Hagah looked back to the rest of his company. A good number of them had fallen asleep in the travel. Others were simply looking through papers, or just plain looking out the window. They were all from various divisions - with one even hailing from Naval Civil Guard - with the hope that the Republic could profit from this venture.
Of course that was Hagah's opinion and not theirs.
The helicopter slowly came near the airport. Although it wasn't a Jettej - an adapted Osprey to be exact - it did have that nervousness inherent in all traveling in the air. Hagah hoped that his counterpart would have facilities in which he could relieve himself of this feeling.
Following the reception of the mysterious communique, Teslian police units arrived at the Telgrade docks to secure the tanker when it arrived as requested. The air was tense and uncertain, but Dictator Namazov had been intrigued by the offer.
On the tarmac below, Teslian soldiers scrambled to prepare for the arrival of the Agonnogans and their transport. The base was nestled in the hills several miles outside the Teslian capital, and had been buzzing with activity the past few weeks as Dictator Namazov prepared for a new campaign.
Colonel Nikolai Ryazov waited impatiently in the rear of an armored sedan, his black uniform new and neatly pressed. He checked his watch and adjusted the black eyepatch over his right eye, a constant reminder of everything he had given and would continue to give for his motrherland.

The tanker slowly crawled through the dank waters of the port, a mysterious looking M printed on the side in black and red. As the tanker neared land, the front dropped down revealing a storage face packed with large crates and boxes. Men ran around while orders were shouted from the speakers. Dimtri Khan, President of the Maverick Corporation, stepped outside. Accompanied by two armed soldiers. He smiled as he saw the General.
"Thank you for coming, General. What i'm about to offer you will be sure to aid you in any attacks." Khan said slowly, smiling. The men began to strap down the crates, sealing them. "We need to talk somewhere more private. As you see, my nation hasn't exactly, 'agreed', to what i'm going to aid you with."

General Berisha himself had been requested by Dictator Namazov to meet with the mysterious individual. Now he looked over the corporate man, and nodded, gesturing towards a warehouse behind him where he had a private office.

He looked at the armed guards.
"But leave your dogs here."
He turned and walked off towards the warehouse.

Berisha led the man into a farely delapidated office in the back of the old arms warehouse, once empty, now nearly full to the brim with weaponry of all sorts, largely small arms and ammunition. Berisha took a seat at the desk.
"What do you have for us today, Mr. Khan?"

There was just the fact of their soldiers over there making it to be a hostile reception. Hagah could count several cars there - each for a clean disposal - and for once Hagah wished for a desert to just make the passing better than just dumping it out on a tarmac - or rather starting from.
"Colonel Nikolai Ryazov I assume?" Hagah asked, bowing before him, "I am Major Hagah Tarion of the Republican Civil Guard".

Khan sat down, before taking out a small laptop from his bag. He opened up a file named "TT-PRODUCTION" and showed it to the General. On it were plans for an exoskeletal armour.
"And this is but the tip off the iceberg." Khan muttered. "My company, the Maverick Corporation, have long been flying high in the technological area. The armour you see before you is what we call Tech Troops. Not only does it provide excellent armour but, with enough power, it can be programmed to fight without anyone piloting it." He opened more files, putting them in small screen to show them all at once.
"With but a few words you can have free access to not only all our weapons, but even our new 'specials' we haven't even shown to our other.....'associates'" he said loudly as he pushed the laptop towards the General. "Look if you wish."
Colonel Ryazov jerked his head in a crude nod.
"We've been waiting for your arrival. Welcome to Teslia."
He gestured in a sweeping motion to the hills under the dreary gray sky.
"Dictator Namazov has ordered me to ensure you are seen to your accomodations. I apologize that you must travel a bit further today, but you will be staying in Telgrade. Please, get in."
He gestured to the door of the sedan. The other officers ushered the other Agonnogans to their own vehicles, and the motorcade set off down the quiet highway, flanked by armed scout cars.
General Berisha eyed the plans skeptically.

And being unable to test them, we can never be sure when we've created something worth while. So thats it General, just send us your lowlife, anarchists and rivals and we can aid both of us." He closed the laptop and picked it up.
"I will give you time to consult with your leader. Until then I shall remain on the ship." he replied before walking out of the warehouse.
"So" said Hagah looking through the tinted windows of the cars, noticing that the others were in the car, and he was without a weapon, "What measures do you have in place about the fact of domestic terrorism? Would you be privy in giving some details on possible rebellious peoples against your army?"
The Colonel answered distantly.
"There has been some lingering discontent in the south of the nation, but I assure you such loose ends will be tied up shortly."
The car wound around a hill and the city of Telgrade came into view, ancient, gray, cold.

The area seemed blasted. Hagah made a note on some papers he had put into his pocket. The liasion officer seemed to be brisque when details concerned. Hagah just simply wanted more details on what he was assigned to do.
"The discontent - would that be of a small numbers based rebellion or in large detail? Anona - my second - is quite adept at the small numbers."

The Colonel's one good eye remained vacant.
"At the moment, our special police squads are targetting small cells, but there is no true organized resistance. Our campaign this week should break any chance the rebels have in organizing."

"I see" said Hagah.
There was silence in the car.
Hagah drew a little stick man on the margin of the papers.
"So is that the Presidential Palace?" he said pointing at a large building in the distance.

The Phenixican Imperial Court on Devenis III in the middle of a session.
"and that was Imperial general of Kitra, is there anymore subjects that anybody wishes to tell the court before we disband?" a younge captain of about 24 years stoodup "Yes information has reached us that a the nation of Teslia republic has been overthrown.." the Generals started whispering to eachother
but the Captain continued "President Kerikov has not only disbanded there government but has also killed there prime minister, thus i ask you the imperial court of his Majesty the Emperor on what to do".
Then the person who sat on the highist chair of them all stoodup and looked across to the younge captain, this man was about 34 years with a scar on his face he spoke in a calm voice "Captain we have recently came across more importent things then this if you can take this to the senate to ask them to cease trade but i honestly think we have better things to worry about remeber the Imperial Court only deals with importent Military matters this is simply unimportent".
The captain quickly bowed before he spoke again "But the people of Teslia are in peril the Empire must react" then another man rose this man was the Imperial Commisioner Perius, head of the Imperial Court "Majesty i must agree this cannot be ignored" the Emperor looked over "Perius if you wish to go over this matter then we will when this session continues in 1 day but until then..." he turned to the captain "Go to the senate and report this to them".
He quickly dashed out of the hall the emperor stoodup and said
"We shall meet tommorow to discuss this matter further, Court dismissed".

General Berisha considered the matter thoughtfully. To him, it sounded like a reasonable plan, but he would have to consult with his superior. He excused himself, went out into the warehouse and outside, dialing a number on a cellular phone, one of a few of its kind in the nation. A short while later he returned to Khan.
"General Namazov finds your proposal reasonable. Teslia has been looking for a way to empty the old jails for some time. We will have a shipment of prisoners ready for you by the time you are finished unloading your merchandise."
He extended his hand.
---------------
The Colonel followed the Agonnogan's finger.
"That it is. An old piece of shit. Nearly bankrupt the country to have it built four decades ago. I hear the pipes are so corroded that the running water only works in half the rooms."
The Colonel chuckled without humor.
"Marshall Namazov will build something far more magnificent after he tears that eyesore down."
The car passed into the city and pulled up in front of a gated complex. The guards checked with the driver and the wrought iron slid open, allowing the sedan to pass and come to a halt before a large, aging villa. Formerly, it had been reserved for special guests of the President, now it would house Hagah. Unbeknownst to him, though he most likely suspected, Namazov's security agents had bugged the house from top to bottom. The rest of the motorcade continued through the city to a military facility in the docks district.

It was some time when the company settled down in their temporary barradcks. It was obvious that it had been a villa. Now it just seemed like a gilded cage. One of the NI folk - Enonnone - pointed out the strange presence of military around. There was some talk in Agonnoga about the presence of bugs about - which was fairly obvious from all the security around. Hagah really didn't know what to do at that point. It had been some time since they had arrived and they were treated as plague victims.
"Listen Colonel - not to be rude or anything - but when will we be able to help with your problem of civil disobedience?" he said.
