From Warsaw to Chicago WWII was put on a full stop as the alien invaders, self-dubbed "The Race" wiped out most of the defender's forces as they advanced in their ultra-advanced equipment. By now The Race's forces had reached Chicago as The Race broke out of the Warsaw Pocket streaking towards the Russian Capital, for they think communism a backwords goverment system and deeply offended at them killing their Royal Family.

Timeline:
Janurary 1st, 1944- Race advances capture key points and breaks out of the "Warsaw Pocket".

Italy

Home Front: the draft notices had been sent out to every able-bodied male in the country. Thousands were levied and began their training for the inevitable invasion. Meanwhile, Il-Duce, his cabinent, and Italian High Command left Rome in the middle of the night and moved toward the Alps, were they were safer.
The cities of Milan, Genoa, Trieste, Venice, Rome/Vatican, Naples, Bologna, Bolzano, Turin were being turned into fortresses. Everybody that wasn't training or making weapons was digging trenches, building defenses and otherwise preparing the cities for attack. The Italian Navy had moved their big battleships and cruisers to Naples, Genoa and Venice to add more firepower.

Tactics: after reading reports about the near invincibility of the Race's tanks, the Italian High Command has issued orders that larger bore artillery (150 mm) to the front line, in the hopes of taking out some tanks

Genoa, Turin, Trieste, Bologna: 15,000
French Border line (mountainous defenses there): 35,000

OOC: You did, well I hope someone else replies. It wouldn't be to fun to take on The Race single handly. Until we get more people I am going to RP only in Libya against your forces. You can command Rommel's also until the German Player starts.

IC: Sacab was a very happy male, not only did the nice climate and easy kills make it so. He had some of the best tank drivers by the Emperor (eyes lower). The tanks in question were advacing on a poor little village which the Italians had thought to fortify, it was also a munition storehouse for their fairly effective 150 mm shells and where all fo the cannons in question were grouping. Already 2 tanks had been destroyed but the losses to the big and ugly natives helped their pride to recover.

Northern Iraq

OOC: Lets start off with this little fire-fight

The Race advaced forces had made great time from Cario while the Turks, the only real goverment, in the North were even worsed equiped then the Italians and Germans. Yeswer thought this whole search for some radical religion leader, which this planet seemed to have many of both religions and leaders. His commander, like any good tank driver had his head majestically extended out in the air. As they approached a Race checkpoint he heard his commander fall back into the vehicle. He turned around and saw that his comander had only one half of his face left. He yelled into the intercom,

"My commander has been hit! He has been hit!"

The checkpoint went from regular to burning in seconds. The Race acted after only a short pause....(act out your side from here)

Amman Al-Quri chambered another round into his Lee-Enfield scoped rifle. He so enjoyed the brilliant puff of brain matter as the tank-commander's head exploded in his sight. A few seconds later the check point was in flames as the rest of the insurgents in his team detonated their explosives and fired shells into it.

The Kurdish people were masters of the deserts. They had lived in them for generations and knew exactly how to fight and survive. A few hundred yeards from Amman, six other Kurdish Guerillas lay in wait, with grenades and bazookas supplied by the British. They waited for the perfect chance to strike. As the Race tanks passed in front of them on the way to the burning checkpoint, one of the men made a loud whistling noise, much like a desert bird. The six men stood and began firing down at the Race tanks and another group of Kurds did the same from the other side of the road.

General Gabanzini stalked around the room. the Il Duce was growing increasingly histearical (sp?). He had ordered the troops to stay in Libya. obviously, Gabinzini had quietly changed the orders, and Rommel had agreed with him. They were fabricating reports of fighting in Libya as they were pulling troops back. The Italian navy, with the exception of their Battleships and Heavy Cruisers, was in the process of evacuating the 200,000 German and Italian soldiers, although heavy casualties had been taken

Home Front: the factories that produced aircraft of any kind halted production and began immediatley preparing to produce heavy artillery and tanks which might have an effect on the war (i'm assuming the Germans have the Mark IV model by now)

OOC: do we have a timetable for technological advances, such as the Tiger tank, ME-262, etc.?

Home Front: The Prime Minister has assumed emergency orders in the midst of the crisis, and he has ordered conscription of all available men ages 18-50. Parliament and the Prime Minister have moved to an undisclosed location in Canada that is safer from attack.

Tactics: Since the Canadian military is not very powerful, the plan is to use guerilla tactics and hope the Race freezes since it is the middle of winter. Company sized Mountain Troops will base themselves independently and ambush the Race whenever possible. The rest of the troops will be used to protect the major cities and the east-west rail line.Whatever military support possible will be given to the US, as Canada does not want their bordering country falling to the race. Also Canada offers a safehaven for high-ranking US officials (if they want it) since Canada is a much safer place than its next-door neighbor, because of the cold.

Troop Distribution: Soldiers will be split among the 6 southern-most provinces with Ontario having the highest proportion of soldiers. Also the majority of the tanks will go to the Ontario Province.

OOC: Just for your information, Canada doesn't have a President...we have a Prime Minister, and we don't have a congress, we have the House of Commons and Senate (Parliament).

The lorries began to open up with their heavy weapon as the Race males charged out into the open. They had their automatic weapons and the chatter of their firing echoed off of the walls. With no real accuracy but the amount of projectiles in the air slowly pinned down the Kurdish irregulars. The tanks not put out of action immidiately began to use their bigger bore cannons to not kill the fighters but at least wipe their hiding spot out of existence.

Yeswer began to load and fire his cannon towards anything that moved. The tank driver bgan to move and Yeswer could only hope not to shoot any of the Race tanks while the other Race vehicles began to fall back as the Race began to call in airstrikes.....

Libyian Shores:
The flight of killercraft banked down towards the landing craft on the beach. This latest twist by the big and ugly natives was un-predictable.

The smartest move would be to fall back towards their many lines of defense stretching along the desert. They were now moving their troops elsewhere by ship. Ships were something that The Race never needed ships for their small spaces of water. This planet with the ever present sea, had influenced the not-empires to build expansive navys. This latest twist left the Race flat-footed. They couldn't contain it since no ships were avaliable but they could hamper it with airplanes.

The 2 killercraft moved in for the kill and started to open up with their chain guns...

"incoming!" yelled an Italian seamen. Instantly anti-aircraft guns began pounding away at the aircraft to no avail. The aircraft sprayed the deck of a transport, and the deck was soaked with blood as soldiers fell left and right. Although the aircraft strikes caused casualties, they were nothing but a large annoyance. The transports and transformed warships spent all day ferrying troops to Italy, transporting heavy weapons and more elite soldiers, and working their way down the line. thousands of soldiers had already arrived and were working their way toward the defensive lines. The Italian Air Force sortied 300 fighters to cover the evacuation

Home Front: the conscriptions continued, as over 100,000 people were already training. The defensive lines were being worked on, and trench lines and bunkers went up all over the place. Meanwhile, Italian soldiers trained the populace to fight behind enemy lines

Home Front: A call has been issued for conscription of every able-bodied man to defend England. Also munitions factories have been asked to step up production to supply Germany and Italy with extra supplies and ammunition as the island of England was largely left alone by the Race.
Tactics: As the Race has no ships of any type England's navy is offered to help Italy ferry their troops or defend the transports. Any other nation that needs naval assistance need only ask for it. The airforce will be used to protect England from Race attack and it offers defense of transports to the Italians.
Troop Distribution: As England does not have a large standing army troops will be deployed near all military bases and major cities. As there are many American troops in England, England offers free transport of them to America as the Race is there in force.

Northern Iraq

Billows of sand erupted into the sky as the Race pounded the sand dunes which hid the Kurdish Guerillas. Amman Al Quri franticly clambered down the dune where he lay perched. He could see that many of the other men in the ambush had disappeared and now smoking black craters remained where they once stood. He sprinted as fast as his legs would carry him away from the fighting. As he approached a sandy outcropping, he pulled a sand covered sheet off of it. The jeep sat there, much as he had left it. He jumped in and turned the ignition key. He had to relay the information back to the Kurdish Command. The car sputtered and choked as it tried to start. The firing had died down but Amman could still hear the crackling fires a few hundred yards from the jeep. He continued to start the car.
"Come on...." he prayed.
The engine sprung to life, the smile on his face was quickly overcome by the Race tank bearing down on him. He raised his rifle and fired two or three shots, then the sky and earth were torn apart around him.

Home Front: As thousands of loyal Kurds flock to armouries and arm themselves. The fortifications of major cities has begun. The Guerilla Units (Ha ha G Unit :p ) are being organized and trained by men who fought during both World Wars and the networks are being readied for the coming onslaught.

The Race tanks continued on with only one damaged and Yeswer's commander was dead but the tank could advance, after a few minitutes of thinking he continued on but sadly depressed as the commander was friendly and he had not even gotten his name yet.

The tanks continued on for the unassuming village of Armota as the Race Males, still high on excitment, looked out from their gun holes for irregular Kurdish fighters.

The two killercraft banked away as a flight of Italian planes came into radar range. There where about 6, barely enough for anykind of enjoyment but enough to go to. They went into Mach 1 for supercruise and armed their missles. The Italian planes where caught un-aware when 3 missles streaked in and destroyed 3 planes. The pilots screamed for help as another went down from the chain gun, by now (hopefully) another flight of 10 Italian planes went to help their comrades......

OOC: Trying to get a air battle going but you can call the planes off and no battle....

Home Front: The first few groups of Italian conscripts began spreading out around the copuntryside, readying for gurellia warfare

Africa: as the Race advanced far into Libya, the remaining forces of the Afrika Korps retreated into Tunisia and held the Mareth Line, with the evacuation continuing in Tripoli (35,000 on the line, 25,000 in Italy, everyone else evacuating). The Italian Air Force massed their survivng fighters for a massive strike at the Race air base in the hopes of damaging it

Meanwhile, plans for the new Panther tank had arrived at factories, and the first few were starting to be made, and plans for the Me 262 were nearing finality

The Race tanks advanced on the desert tracks toward the forified city of Tripoli. The Race assumed a battle scarred city would be easier to destroy but it was actually quite the opposite. While the Race would always occupy the surviving buildings. The Big Uglies on the other hand would never be out in the open and Tripoli quickly became a bogged down hell-hole.

The city of Tripoli was in ruins, but most of its troops had been evacuated, so its purpose was just to stall the Race. Meanwhile, the last shipment of troops had arrived back at Italy, with 10,000 men left stranded in tripoli to fight on. The panther tank was now being mass produced, and the 21st panzer division was now fully equipped with them, and the 15th panzer, Ariete, Centaurio, Littorio were being outfitted in that order. The fortifications were in essence complete, but were being fleshed out with more soldiers and more strong points. dozens of 150mm guns were being implaced in hardened bunkers, with plenty of anti-aircraft guns going around them

Air Strike: the Italian planes smashed into the Race's outnumbered planes. enough fighters managed to make it past the Race's screen to run up against the anti-aircraft guns and dozens were shot down, although signifigant damage was done

OOC: Okay, the first snip is excellent and I have no problems with it. What I do have a little issue is with no RPing accompanying the whole airstrike thing. I think we are getting more strategic (where talking about a whole earth war) but let us still keep it still "down to Earth" and do RPing. So just take that little bit out and RP properly.

"all units ready for com-" the transmission was cut off as a missle slammed into the leaders plane. Immediatley the planes broke formation and flew every which way, to no avail. Dozens of planes were sewpt from the sky. But the Race had only so many missles, and plenty of fighters were left for combat. The two groups crashed into each other, cannons blazing away. The Race's cannons were more devestating and accurate, but the Italians had numbers, and every now and then a Race fighter would fall from the sky. Eventually, there were no more fighters. The Italians had lost more than 100 fighters, but pressed on swarming over the base, peppering the ground with cannon fire, the sheer mass of fire and the drooped bombs claiming Race lives and equipment everywere. Finally the surving Italian fighters retreated, less than 150 now, but they had done their job and hit the base well

The Race commanders were angry, not only had the little prop Italian fighters taken dwn a few of their killercraft but they had also dmaged a god amount of the repair equipment. The airport was damaged for a good time and the troops would have to advance without aircover for a time.

Awert was a very sad male of the Race. Not only was he killing sad little Big Uglies all over the place which seemed more persistant than insect life and still managed to kill a few of the Race. He was musing to himself about the greater struggles when bullets started to whizz all around him and killed a few of his friends off the starting hit, he ducked into a crevice and begun to fire back.

General Gabinzini was furious. Mussolini had just commanded "fortress Italy" be prepared. Il Duce did not want one step back, even though his troops would be slaughtered. the Il Duce was growing increasingly heasterical, but luckily Gabinzini was intercepting his commands and changing them.

Home Front: the 15th panzer and Ariete division had been outfitted and the rest were being outfitted. Me-262's were beginning to be built, although only a handful of factories still produced planes

Home Front: Since the War against the Soviets was offically over in light of a hyper-technologically superior 'Race' enemy, even the insane Hitler knew he couldn't hold his Polish positions. Effective immiedately all the German troops in the Soviet Union were immiedately withdrawl at full force. They didn't bother to stop in Poland for the Warsaw Pocket, they just kept speeding towards the German heartland--the Fatherland had to be defended. The Germaan Panzer eventually reached Eastern Germany and where in the process of turning the Eastern Germany border into a fortress where at the very least the Race would never forget the Mighty Germanic Peoples who took so many of their 'males' away from them. The German Forces, ranging about 75,000,000 were all on the Eastern Border fortifying it while those who remained in the Warsaw Pocket fought on to keep the Race tied down long enough. Though the 200,000,000 from the various allied countries also fortified their regions. 25,000,000 German troops, with a good deal of Panzer divison which had been stationed to fortify the Atlantic Wall were now racing towards Bres, France to prevent the Race from breaking out. The majority of the Lufewaffe was also being taken to the battlefield, though on the ground since the Race proved superior in terms of the air. Mass cosncription has begun across the Western territories including France, Belguin, and Holland. These people have been told the situtation and that Alien invaders have come to Earth to kill all Humans in the name of their 'Emperor'. This is suppose to allow Germany forces to gain several more million. The Propaganda waves which once spat Anti-Jewish slogans, now turned out with one of Nazi Germany's most effective and sponsered mind warpign schemes. Hitler intended to turn every human. Every man, woman, child, and baby in the Fanatical Nazi's. He changed Nazism overnight, and said that the Aryan Prophets had predicted this day and he was merely fullfilling the prophecy. That Nazism did hate the Jews, and that they the Jews of World War One were agents of the Race, but the Jews now redeemed themselves. That Nazism was developed for the purpose of destroying the Race. He rallied all humans within the Third Reich to rise up against the invaders. Fight to the bitter end, give now an inch of ground, and if you must sacrifice your very life in the name of the Furher and Humanity!

Tactics: Flexiable Defense. The German and Axis Forces on the Eastern Front have begun fortifying their positions, in an attempt to build an Eastern Wall, similar to the Western Wall built to oppose the French Magiot Line. One the Western Front the majority of the Luffewafe and the Panzer Armor Cores are racing towards Bres, France to stop the Race there and push them into the sea to prevent any more Race advances. Taking a book from Mussolini the massive 150mm Artillery had begun being mass produced, along with the most advanced of the Panzers in order to put the Race against Humanities best weaponry. Not to mention the V1 and V2 rockets were we beginning to also be produced.

Troop Deployment: 275,000,000 on the Eastern Wall and Axis Countries (exluding Italy). 25,000,000 and the majority of the Luffewaffe and a good deal of the Panzers are rushing towards Bres, France to completely smash the Race forces which have landed there. Across the country and occupied territories, millions are being recruited for the purposes of defending Humanity.

OOC: i have a little trouble believing that germany had 300,000,000 troops since now the population of Western Europe including Germany is about 186,000,000 and the population of Eastern Europe is about 150 million without Russia. These numbers would have obviously been less in 1942, so to have 300,000,000 troops you would have to have conscripted every man, woman, and child in the Third Reich.

To Moorington: has the race landed in England yet?

Home Front: Factories are producing munitions at full speed and many men have been called up to serve in the army. They are being sent to fortifications around the country that are being constructed in case of a Race invasion of the island.

The first shipments of munitions have arrived in the Germany and Italy, and British ships in the mediterranean are providing support to the Italians. Bombing raids are planned against Race forces in France once the air force is pulled together. The latest word from England's colonies is that they are under almost complete Race control, and no plans are being made to retake them.

Terst looked out from the lorrie he was in, the little buildings that the Big Uglies lived in could barely be called that but they stood with only a little risk of falling on your head. That was only in peace time and an over hyper Male could easily disect the buildings with a few well placed shots, forcing them to come tumbling down. The Big Uglies could also, which was why little if any Males were outside the protective canopy of their vehicles.

As they advanced out of the town the tank in front of the lorrie was suddenly lost as all around them massive shells torn apart the ground as they were blinded by their personal light show. When the dust cleared the tank was gone with another lorrie and Terst pounded out of the vehicle blazing away.....

Uman flew over the skies of the island-not-empire with the fu intention of killing everything that moved. Yes he was a Race male but ever since his teamate had died over in Africa he wanted to take a big chunk of the Big Uglies out. He could do that now as big Race 1000 Emperor bomber group advanced over the English Channel towards targets in London.

Each day that passed gave Italy more time to prepare itself for invasion. It also gave itself time to prepare its "back up waepons" General Gabinzini stalked down the hallway and walked to a sealed door were 2 blackshirts guarded it. The guards snapped to attention and opened the door. Beyond it sat canister upon canister of poison gas, ready for battle. If the Race decided to invade they would get bloodied.

Home front: the defenses kept going up in Italy, more reserves joined the line, and more Panthers joined tank divisions

The sonic-boom of the Race killercraft contiued to harry the Italian defenders of Sicily. Even as they saw the glint of transport craft all over the island killercraft where decaipitating the political and militar heads and hitting major railway stations. The Italian planes (hopefully) new that this many Race caft would only mean their deaths.

The Race males speed out on tanks, lorries, trucks and evrything that could move fast. Already the Italin army had brought their 150 mm to bear....

When the radar picked up the large number of Race bombers heading straight for London, all available fighters were scrambled to meet the threat. The only ones that would be ready in time were 4 squadrons(about 64 fighters). They had a chance at taking out some of the bombers since there weren't any Race fighters, but still the bombers were quite faster and could defend themselves. The English fighters also hoped that their edge? in numbers would help them, and their proximity to base as this might allow other fighters to come into the fight later. The alert was also sounded in London as people were told to get to bomb shelters.

Home Front: Conscription has slowed pace somewhat mainly because most available men have already been conscripted. These men have been armed with munitions from the factories, and have been sent to fortifications around the country(mostly in industrial areas) in preparation for the expected Race invasion. Research into building heavier artillery, armor, and faster planes is underway to begin to counter the Race's superior weaponry. England will also be salvaging any Race equipment they find to begin to try and bring their own weapons closer to Race standards. England intelligence will be trying to find out more infromation about these nuclear weapons the Race has, and scientists will try to step up research about them since they know very little about them right now. Any knowledge that any country(particularly the US) has about them would be appreciated.

Munitions and arms continue to be sent to Germany and Italy. Also, British warships continue to support the Italians in the Meditteranean. They are bombing Race landing areas in Sicily and Tripoly.

ooc: Sorry for being so inactive...
IC: The other Race vehicles continued on in a basic forward charge firing away at the vehicles. About each shell that hit a vehicle piearced the armor throwing flames up into the air. As the Race called in their air support the tanks continued to advance but the Males continued to stay in the lorries and popped out from time to time to shoot at big uglies.

The Race bombers saw the little prop killercrafts heading in their direction from their radar screens and opened their mouth in their soundless laugh and prepared to have a fun chicken shoot, a term coined from one of their bases activities, shoot little animals called 'chickens' native to the Big-Uglies planet.

The carrier force off the coast of Luzon partolled the surroundig area. They had a easy time of it to.
